Sam’s Club

The difference between Sam’s Club and Costco is quality. Costco quality is far superior in terms of products and service. At Costco, they take back returned items without asking you any questions. The folks behind the desks address you as «sir» and «ma’am.» At Sam’s Club, they ask you all kinds of questions when you return items and address you as «sweetie» or «sugar.» Price difference is nearly negligible. Products at Sam’s club often appear cheap or the box that they come in are ripped and worn. Costco isn’t perfect either but they usually do a better job at presentation.
Unfortunately there is no Costco in Columbus, but if you are a member you can still buy everything from them online with free shipping. Everything else, I’m getting from Walmart. The $ 100 annual charge from Sam’s Club just isn’t worth it.

Membership desk ladies are super slow & negative attitude toward customers, but no Costco around here so Ok for now, dealing with membership desk people ruins shopping experience here, just not a pleasant place to shop overall. Plus items are not marked properly w. Price etc…

Always convenient and a good deal. Love getting useful things in bulk and the holiday gift sets are great.

Just came in for dogfood & strawberries. Cheapest ive ever came out of sams club, i swear. But anyway…
Just wanted to give a shout-​out to Tauni, the cashier. She was in such a chipper mood and was so pleasant at 9:30 in the morning, that i just had to say something. Not all associates this morning came off as nicely.

Just renewed my membership and got many cleaning items needed for my new apartment.

The plus membership isn’t worth it unless you shop early. Instant savings are for products we never use. They have promotions where everyone ends up getting the same deal a few times a year so what is the point in being a plus member? Selection is good and prices are decent. Meat and produce has a 200% money back guarantee if something is wrong with it. The tire center is good, but don’t count on your free rotation because they keep no record of your visit. Never taken advantage of the monthly health screening but they have it if you need it. Would love if they had Scan & Go like they did in NC.

Ok, as a northern girl I’m used to BJ’s Wholesale and Costco, but in the South, where Walmart is king, I had to open up to Sam’s Club.
This Sam’s Club is clean and well stocked. Food selection is diverse and the employees are very helpful. Just make sure to check the unit prices on the items because sometimes they really aren’t deals.

This store is always clean and the staff is always more than willing to help.
