I had a better experience here than a lot of others seemed to. The buffet on the weekends is among the best. It has plenty of vegetarian options. It is also fairly priced at about $ 9 for all you can eat. Will come back here for the buffet on weekends.

If there is a lesser star than one, I’d prefer to choose it to rate this restaurant. Seriously!!! Pathetic Indian restaurant in this location who has no clue what customer service means. Taste is OK but the way they treat you if you find some fault in their food you will be looked at like an alien to them. One day when we complained about spoiled lemon rice during our buffet, a bald guy showed up from behind the kitchen and asked if we had tasted lemon rice before. For god sake, I know another Indian knows how badly the spoiled lemon rice smells like. Some other day we ordered something: gravy was watery than it’s supposed to be. Days later, we still visited the place hoping that we will have better food this time and to our surprise we found a dead fly in our food that we ordered. We argued with that same old bald guy again but we still ended up paying price for that dead fly food. I swear I’ll NEVER visit dumb restaurant again after this third incident.

This is by far the worst Indian restaurant in Columbus, OH in terms of service provided. They are proud to call themselves a family-run restaurant but one hardly finds more than one or two staff at any time of the day, especially in the evenings. A lady who is probably a relative of the owner is always seen watching Indian soaps on the TV in front of the customers. One has to walk up to the counter everytime one needs anything as the restaurant is so terribly understaffed or the owners feel they are much above the clients and are running the business on a fake assurance that such poor behavior does not affect them. Everytime one enters the restaurant, there is a new server without proper training. We as customers sat at the restaurant and ordered food at 7pm last Friday. The food did not arrive at all. Upon repeatedly asking, they kept saying it will be served in 5 minutes. All this while they kept serving other customers, especially take-home orders. Eventually it was 9:30 pm and then when we became angry and complained about this absolute lack of care for people’s time, the owner never for once came out n apologized and instead had the server who recently joined convert our order to a take-home one as it was closing time for them. They not only insulted us but tried to make a fool of us as well. Never going back and will request every self-respecting person to avoid them as well.

I was so hungry and we thought to have a good tasty food. There was no one in the restaurant and no one received us and we chose a place to sit. They served us in 20 mins without plates and gave after asking. We ordered paalak panner and it was smelling and tasting bad. We ordered chicken curry and mirchi it was good.

I wish I could give stars in negative. Worst biryani ever. Fell sick for a month after consuming it. I don’t know what ingredients do they use. Must be old enough to spread plague. The biryani was spicy like hell as well. Beware of their food. This is not the authentic Indian food.

This review is mostly based on takeout experience. I am South Indian and I love my spicy food. We always get the Chicken Biriyani. ITISTHEBEST I have had in the Dublin area. It is hot and fresh and the chicken tender! Andhra Chicken curry is delicious too and hot enough! I really don’t care much for the rest of the menu. We tried the buffet a couple of times and were not impressed. When Biriyani craving strikes, this is where we go. Not much can be said about the service or dining area. The owner is friendly and always greets us with a smile and our takeout experience always has been great! We have since moved and still craving Reethika s Chicken Biriyani!!!

I am Briyani favorite person. Purchased briyani many times. Sometimes the chicken was very bad — taste and smell. Mentioned them that since I am a regular customer to give me good quality food. In spite of regular visitor, their only aim is to sell even the rotten items. Stopped going there.

Not that good in taste as I expected for a South Indian non veg restaurant. There was nobody to receive me when I came inside. I had to wait 5 mins to be seated. The food took 35 mins to be ready after ordering. The biryani is not that good. chicken 65 was ok(3⁄5). Overall rating is just 1 out of 5. Buffet on the weekends is above average. They should reduce the saltiness in their curries.

Worst place ever! No one even cared to seat us at a table and when asked for a table we got a rude reply saying«you see that it is not clean right, it ll take us 20 mins». We walked out !! I would give it 0 stars but dont have that option.

Absolutely abysmal food. Chilli Paneer was too salty and the paneer wasn’t cooked properly. Had a naan with mirchi ka salan was absolutely bland. The service was horrible and the waiter couldn’t wait to get faster. P. S.: I actually saw a cockroach wandering on the floor.

1. Not friendly service… 2. Hair in roti… no apology or replacement 3. Floor is super slippery Details below: My first experience couple of years back was really bad… But, I didn’t remember the specifics and also had hoped that they would have become better. So, I convinced my friends and went there for the second time in Dec 2013. The experience was so bad at multiple levels… 1. None of them were kind, friendly or smiling or hospitable to us right from the beginning to end. 2. We ordered garlic naan and rotis. FIrst they said they don’t have rotis or garlic naan. So, we changed our order to regular naan. Then they said they cannot make naan at all and can make regular rotis. Then, they gave us rotis. First I thought, the rotis were so soft and a was refreshing experience. However, the roti had a HAIR in the dough. When we informed the server and the owner about the issue, none of them even apologized. The owner said, next time when we come, they will not charge for rotis! How ridiculous is that?!! We would never even go there next time for them to give that opportunity! 3. Floor was slippery that all four of us who went slipped at least couple of times and it was not a rainy day. 4. I was feeling sick to my stomach after dinner at Reethika! Never again to Reethika! Big NONO.

Reethika was a delicious experience. The setup is fresh and clean– keeping things simple. Nice, large tables that can easily be grouped together to accomodate parties of varying size. I am also a particular fan of the Indian soap operas playing on two TVs strategically placed on a diagonal in opposite corners. The lunch buffet was about $ 10/person and one of the better ones that I’ve had in Columbus– on par with Taj Mahal and offering the non-veg stuff you won’t find at Banana Leaf. For the price, the selections totally kick Indian Oven’s butt out the door. All of the non-veg selections are chicken-based. The tandoori chicken seems… fried? Or slightly over baked. But it’s still clear that it was marinated in tandoori paste for some time(perhaps not for the 24 hour overnight stint, but it’s definitely passable). There were also several very noteworthy chicken curries– makhani and a vindaloo I believe were on the buffet when I went on a Saturday. Also, the chicken biryani isn’t bad. The meat is tender and flavorful– a common problem encountered with chicken that hasn’t been given the time to properly marinate. But there are also plenty of selections for the vegetarians: a fantastic saag and a savory tomato daal. The sambar is also quite delicious but no dosa or idli to eat it with. The channa masala was undercooked– the chickpeas being a bit too hard and retaining not enough flavor. Those however are my only two complaints. For just over $ 10 I ate very well and was very satisfied on the way out the door. If you like Indian food this place is at least worth a try. It may not be the mind-blowing experience you had in Delhi or wherever it is that the coolest kids get their Indian food, but it’s definitely a worthwhile endeavor.

We went here on a visit to Columbus, OH. This one has to top my list of «Worst Service» ever, the guy talks to you as if they were serving food for free. Pros: The chapatis were good, but they are limited to 1 per person. Everything else was mediocre Cons; service, ambience, menu. The idlis were the absolute worst kind. My tip: Avoid it if you have better choices.

This place needs overhaul big time. I went for lunch buffet on Friday. Food was mediocre at best, very blend with little to no spices. There is NO hyderabadi flavor. Their website is misleading and indicates buffet everyday for $ 8.99, while they only serve buffet from Fri-Sun. Friday buffer is $ 10. Only one bread(maida roti) is included in buffet. Lunch buffet included 2 chicken dishes, 2 vegetarian dishes, 4 types of rice, two appetizers, papaddum and dessert. It’s a small place and I had that uneasy feeling the moment I stepped into this place. i will not revisit.

My review is based solely on their Buffet which I regret to do but it was that bad. I went there one Sunday for lunch and was disappointed big time. We ordered samosa which were slightly cold and not very spicy. The buffet lacked flavor or options. This place just seemed to be in poor condition with workers that didn’t car that much. I like my dishes to be Indian spicy and this place did not do it. I have been to Indian Buffets where they make quality food for their buffet. I would like to try this place some evening just to see if their made to order food has Indian quality or not. Service was definitely lacking on the day we went here and looking at other reviews, it isn’t the only time. I have read other reviews and may give it a second shot some evening but never again for a buffet.

This place is mediocre at the best. The only thing Hyderabadi is in the self proclamation. I mean come ON, without making any effort at differentiating yourself from the 5 other Indian buffets in the Sawmill area how are you going to attract a discerning clientele? The food is very edible, but the offering is neither imaginative, nor authentic. The spinach has cream in it, the green beans in the ‘green beans and lentils’ were indistinguishable from each other, even the rotis were made out of *horrors, refined flour instead of whole wheat. This is what happens when management from one culinary region tries(and fails) to offer the cuisine of another. I’ve been there twice now and have been underwhelmed both times.

Food was hit and miss. Dishes were dirty – even the new ones they brought out had old oil residue. Looks like they do a good take-out business – only one other sit down table while we dined. Bright, sterile environment. Food we tried: Gobi manchurian — excellent Fresh chapatis — excellent Whole baby eggplants in sauce — tasty sauce, totally flavorless eggplants Paneer masala — some of the best paneer I’ve had, with generous cilantro sprinkled over.

There is a new sheriff in town. And it has the best Indian food, no contest. The food is amazing here. I had the buffet, which was bold, flavorful, and prepared so well. Unlike typical buffets, Chef Jhansi asks that you step in front of him so he can fill your tray with plates of food. No commonplace choices, either: keema, real south indian sambar, chicken curry, something with eggplant, and a couple other items, including gajar ka halwa. I’d stepped in here a couple weeks ago when he’d just opened the place, and he told me his restaurant would serve home cooked food. The reason for the atypical setup of the buffet? «We prepare it as home cooked, this is our home — come [up to get food] as many times as you want, just don’t waste it.» And why would you? This is what real Indian food tastes like in India, the kind an Indian mom or cook would make. While I couldn’t stop eating the colorful orange vegetable biryani with the unbelievably tasty chicken curry, there was a steady stream of Indian people coming into the restaurant, warming my heart. They must have figured out what I did: the food here is unlike the food of any other restaurant. Here’s my challenge: Take the food of Tadka, Amul India, New India, Taj, Bayleaf etc., and put it on the same table, sans labels. See if you can figure out who made what. With Reethika, you will.
