Just look at the reviews. That should tell you something There is a lost of consistency. I spend more time in hotels than I do my own house. In 10 years I have only moved out of a hotel twice because it was so bad. This was so bad, I was moving regardless whether my group was moving. My entire group did move, and that was great for them. The room was just flat dirty. Carpets not vacuumed, sheets had stains on them, blankets with holes, hole in the wall. Then I noticed bugs on the floor and the bed. I was even afraid to sit down. I just highly recommend that you stay somewhere else, regardless of money.

From the outside, it appears nice. We were in town for a wedding, but based on previous reviews, I doubt we would have chosen this one, except we had been given a group rate for the wedding. The desk staff was capable, but more business-like than friendly. I have found that giving an impression that«We’re glad you’re here» can go a long way, especially for travelers who have been on the road for a long time. The room was clean and tidy, and everything necessary worked okay, but it also smelled like dirty feet. The desk provided a spray bottle which eliminated the smell, but it never should have smelled that way on the first place. Additionally, the blankets were old and hard, and one had holes in it. We requested another blanket when the bed was made in the morning, but it was never replaced. We discovered from friends in other rooms that a lot of the blankets were in the condition, so I doubted that they had any viable replacements anyway. It is a Day’s Inn, and 5-Star service can’t be expected from them, but a few basics can go along way. An investment in new blankets would go a long way. On a side note, oddly, the housekeeping staff was the friendliest group I’ve ever encountered in a hotel/motel, and were as accommodating as they could be under the circumstances. I think they do their best in a trying situation.

if you’re looking to sleep in a smelly closet this is the place for you! Room was tiny, outdated, and filthy.

I travel a lot and have stayed in many rooms but this place was just gross. Our room was all the way down a very long and stinky hallway. Things just got worse from the moment we entered the room. The stink was now just a different stench. I went to sit on the bed and as soon as I picked up the filthy throw pillow, hair appeared on the sheets. .Since, it was really late going somewhere else was not an option. The very friendly and understanding women at the front desk offered us a new room, which turned out to be even dirtier than the first, so we decided to keep the first room and just get new sheets. The sheets were clean however they were so old they were turning yellow. The entire first floor was the same way, everything is just so old and filthy. When we saw how the property was kept, we were afraid to eat anything but tried the coffee which tasted like dirty dish water. The only positive point to staying there was that we couldn’t wait to get the hell out of there in the morning, so we had a really early start to our day.

Wake up call at 12 am by means of fire alarm going off. The batteries were messing up is what the front desk was informing people. That’s a sign to my family we won’t ever stay at this hotel again

Rooms were cleaned by the blind. Needs serious renovations. Hotels in this area are very expensive. This hotel is much less money in comparison, but if clean sheets are important to you, spend the extra money and get a better room. Our room had a slight«off» odor and the sheets had hair and some kind of shmutz on them and the throw pillows. We asked for a new room and the second room was worse! Stained carpets and furniture, and just dirty overall. The shower had a layer of what looked like mold around the crease where the shower wall meets the bathtub. Morning coffee tasted like weak dishwater. Staff was excellent, however. The front desk woman was very understanding and helpful. The manager was also very pleasant. I guess they might have SOME nice rooms in this place, but we sure didn’t get one of them.

My wife and I stayed at quality Inn on June 8, 2013. Unfortunately the next morning I found that I had bedbug bites up and down my leg. The management tried to tell me that if I didn’t see bedbugs, there couldn’t have been any there. Fair warning has been given. If I could post a picture of these bites I would.

I can’t blame them for the drunks who came back at 3AM and made noise. I can blame them for the way they handled it. When I checked out at 6AM having had no sleep, the woman in front said she couldn’t help because I didn’t call and lodge a complaint at precisely 3AM! And there was no manager around, which is inexcusable in a hotel. I called up the manager and was feebly offered a $ 10 discount on the night. Thanks so much, that totally makes up the $ 80 I paid to not sleep. Also, there were hairs stuck in the hair dryer, which is so disgusting I just can’t even think about it. There were weird stains on the window couch that made me check all my bed linens — at least those were clean. For breakfast the first day, the orange juice was BROWN. The second day, they brought out a container instead of using the machine after I complained. The woman’s excuse the first day was that it was in the machine and seemed fine. No, lady, it’s brown. I think this place can be 4 stars, it just needs a complete overhaul of management and employees.

Stay away from this place. We checked in on 7÷4÷2012 a Wednesday and were quoted a rate of $ 63.50 a day for 4 days stay. We requested a non smoking room. The room they gave us was VERY small and stunk of cigarette smoke. We asked for another room and they did give us another non smoking room just down the hall. That room also smelled of cigarette smoke but not as bad. The bed spread was dirty as were the carpets. The blanket on the bed had burn holes in it. The bathroom floor was sticky around the toilet and one of the towels had a large hole in it. We tried to fine another hotel to stay at but because of a big show at the Ohio Expo Center none were available. I should has been suspicious about this place when we drove in. Parked in the front side parking area was a car with the right side window glass missing, 2 flat tires, beat all to hell and no license plates. Looks like it had been there for some time. When we checked out 7÷8÷2012 they gave us a bill for $ 416.58. $ 63.20-Wedensday, $ 87.20-Thursday and $ 103.20-Friday & Saturday. When we told the woman they quoted us $ 63.50 per day for all 4 days she asked where was the paper we signed when we registered? They didn’t give us one. So we lose. When we arrived home I called Days Inn customer service and was told they are all independently owned so we would have to take it up with the hotel. Like I said«Stay away from this place»

When I have out of town visitors, I put them up in a hotel, because my home is too small for overnight company. I have them stay at the Days Inn Suites Columbus Hotel in the Crosswoods area of Worthington. It’s not the Ritz-Carlton, but it is the perfect place for travelers. The rooms are all roomy enough and very, very clean. It offers a quiet place for its guests & best of all, it offers a continental breakfast with hot waffles & other steam table entrees. It is right across from the Motel 6, which is adequate, but what I like about Days Inn is that it goes just that extra distance to make its guests happy.

Great Hotel, Friendly Staff and a Great Price !!! During my travels to and from Columbus for interviews and apartment searching I chose to stay at the Days Inn Worthington. Just as the logo is of a rising sun, you will be pleseantly refreshed each morning staying here. This hotel’s shining sun is an employee named Ann who works at the front desk. She was extremely helpful when I told her my nature of business in providing me restaurants to eat at, sites to see, areas of town that would be good to hunt for apartments, and just overall a friendly face welcoming me to Columbus. Each day after returning she asked me «Any luck on finding a place?» My first visit here was for a 3 day stay apartment hunting, the rooms are clean, the beds were comfy, and keeping the room temperature regulated was easy(no issues of either too hot or too cold), I forgot to pack a few toiletries and the hotel was able to provide them at no charge. The second encouter was during my move to Columbus, after a snafu with the moving company, I did not get into Columbus until the wee morning hours on a Sunday versus the late afternoon as planned and it was well past my reservation hours. Ann was working and again shined through, even though rays of sunlight were not what I wanted to see after driving all night… just a comfy pillow. She stated she would be able to honor the reservation and allowed us to stay until 1pm. Enough time to get an adequate amount of sleep prior to unpacking. I also can’t complain about their breakfast, granted it’s not a gourmet meal, but enough to get your day jumpstarted with eggs, waffle, coffee, juice, bagels, and fruit.
