Good but not great.
I tried the rib tips plate because I’ve never heard of it before. It was roughly a ¹⁄₃ rack of ribs cut into bit sized pieces, bone included. Wasn’t bad — I was just really curious as to why they chose to chop them instead of just leaving together. Chopping them up dried everything out a little more in my opinion.
Rib meat was good — slightly fatty and a little saltier than I am used to. Beans were nice with lots of hickory and brown sugar flavor, but no meat for added flavor. Fries were breaded, which I don’t care for. Another unusual thing — the bread included was two slices of loaf bread in a ziplock bag. Again, not sure why it wasn’t just on the plate like most places I’ve been to.
The food was decently good. Facility was clean with no real décor. Service reasonably friendly. Prices very reasonable. TV tuned to ESPN overhead gave me a nice way to pass the time.
I probably won’t go back. It was an OK experience, but there’s better BBQ in this region. I think this is probably a great place to «grab a lunch» if you live in the area, but I wouldn’t make a special trip for it.

Ordered the pulled pork sandwhich, rib tips, slab of ribs, and garlic fries.
Ill sum this up… we had to wait over an hour and a half for the ribs… which was fine we didnt mind. This bbq joint does not disappoint! The bbq is great and the service was phenomenal. We had to wait for quiet awhile, but they gave us a free large drink and gave us extra sides and extra rib tips for our patience. They really know how to take care of their customers. We really enjoyed the ribs, the rib tips, and pulled pork sandwhich (moist & juicy!)
Highly recommend this bbq joint if you want some bbq nearby!

Moved away and finally got a chance to come back. It’s still the best pulled pork. And the rib tips are amazing. I’ve tried a ton of other Bbq joints since I was last here, and this is STILL the gold standard. I’m sad to move away. Go try this place. It’s amazingly good.

Great barbecue at a very reasonable price. If you visit, don’t hesitate to try the Rib tips, very good. I fancy their spare ribs as well. I’m a big ribs fan, so outside of that, I haven’t tried anything else. Good, clean restaurant, great prices, and friendly staff. Take a peek. Pictures soon to come.
