We tried the chicken lo mein and general Tao chicken tonite– take out. Umm not that good. I don’t know what to compare it from since Peking is the only Chinese place I have ate at in this area. I think the food court back home in Ohio was better. Sigh.

The sesame chicken is good, thick pieces of chicken, unlike some Chinese places where they give you the«spare parts» type of chicken. Their sushi was mediocre. I got the Philadelphia roll and the salmon was good in it and I really enjoyed that they didn’t load it down with rice like some places do. The fried rice was a little subpar and I really didn’t like that they don’t let you substitute lo mein for the rice, even for a couple dollars up charge. You have to buy the entire Lo Mein meal if you want it. The atmosphere is really nice!

Good place to get food for takeout. Dinner menu is about 14 $ with plenty of food for dinner and breakfast.

Prices are very reasonable. Sushi and egg drop soup were really good. Unfortunately, the fried rice was tasteless and the sweet and sour and beef and broccoli were really not that good.

Low expectations to begin with. Now confirmed – there is no decent Chinese food in the Golden Triangle area. Had some tepid recommendations so gave it a shot. Ordered the Hot & Spicy Tofu.(I know, asking for disappointment). The wait staff were unable to explain what was in it so I went for it(I know, foolhardy). It was soft tofu in a cloyingly sweet sauce(like duck sauce or something) with those frozen peas and carrots. It wasn’t even faintly hot or spicy. After waiting for like 10 minutes to get the waitress’s attention, I sent it back(explaining the above). She brought me a menu to choose something else, and while I was looking it over some lady(the manager?) came out to interrogate me. She didn’t believe me that it was sweet and kept insisting that it was hot and spicy and I guess that I should like it(who knows?). Thoroughly pissed off after basically being called a liar, I decided I just wanted to go after we finished my wife’s Kung Pao(also not the slightest bit spicy). Manager thing came out a couple more times, finally confessing that the cook forgot how to make it and used the wrong sauce and then trying to get me to let them make it again. So, whatever, the food seemed to be average American style Chinese food. If you want decent Chinese food drive an hour to Tuscaloosa and go to Mr. Chen’s. Or live somewhere else besides northern Mississippi.

I’ve had a bad experience here two times in a row and we won’t be going back. The food is not great anyway. Nothing special and some of it is just plain bad. Both times we have ordered food to go and both times they have shorted us almost half the food from our order. One time I believe was a language barrier problem but one time was definitely not. It’s just awful service. I called and asked to speak to a supervisor but the woman on the other end just said she could not help me. I hung up and decided we won’t be going back.

Not good, not bad, just your average Chinese buffet.

The usual Chinese food fare. Great prices for lunch. $ 5.95 gets you a choice of soup, an eggroll, your main dish and fried rice. The food is good and the service is great. Great for a quick lunch during the work week. Dinner is quite a bit pricier with the same amount of food so I would stick to lunch. Unless of course a giant pupu platter is worth the extra cash to you. This is easily our favorite Chinese Food in the area.
