Party City

October is the time of year when several aisles are taken up with Halloween costumes.
If you’re planning a birthday or wedding you can stop here for plates, napkins, gift bags and plastic table cloths which are available in nearly every color of the rainbow. For kids parties you can even find candy which follow along the color schemes available.
Multiple birthday and wedding favors are available. You can also get helium balloons, piñatas and greeting cards.

After spending a small fortune at Party City Bethel Road for my daughter’s bridal shower, wedding, baby shower in the past 2 years and most recently my 60^th birthday party, I had to return some items I bought some in cash others on a credit card. The clerk put the return entirely on the credit card and the receipt she gave me made little sense as the amounts credited, less the discounts did not match for 1 out of 5 items. I called the store and explained it to I assume a different clerk, very nice, who told me to come in the next day when Vicky the General Manager would be there between 10 – 10:30 until 6PM. As I had other errands in the area that day, I stopped in with the receipts and isolated the insufficient credit for the cash purchase but was told that although Vicky was present, she would not be able to see me despite being told I had called the day before and was told to come in between these hours and see her as she was the only one who could address the discrepancy. Instead I got a flippant male named Eric who kept saying she is busy in the back and when I inquired when I could see her he said not until 6PM when she was scheduled to leave. I wasn’t going to wait over 3 hours and it was very clear they were not interested in resolving the discrepancy. Will never shop at any Party City in this Columbus district if she is the General Manager who would rather hide than address an error by her staff that they claimed only she could address in person. Got the distinct impression they would rather blow me off and think I won’t waste the time and gas fighting it and just give up being ripped off!

While they may have a good selection they won’t do discount or donations of any kind to charity event which is terrible! If you can’t donate to an event raising money for cancer research you aren’t getting anymore of mine!

Literally can find any and all things party related in this store — hence the name of course. Came here in search of a blackjack table cover (wayyy less than buying an actual table) and wham! There it was! Complete with surrounding accessories like chips, fake money, and even a casino visor.
Whomever has the job of grouping all of these party items together is a genius. Of course I walked out with a dozen related accessories that I had no intention of buying in the first place — but how could I resist?! I hadn’t even thought about some of the additional items but after seeing them couldn’t picture the party without them.
If your hosting an event that starts with par, and ends in ty, you have to come here to make sure your well stocked!
The only bad thing about this location compared to a few of the other local stores is that its significantly smaller; however, I found everything that I needed. Less temptation I suppose. Love this place!
