Food and service was great price a little high for me but I’m cheap lol I had the the border sampler a lot of food for the price and the chips and salsa was so good I could not stay out of it I will definitely be going back in the near future I would say it’s one of the top 3 in Mexican restaurants in ohio and menu was vary simple and easy to understand and not 16 pages Long.

Terrible even for a chain. The tortilla soup tasted like dishwater and was inedible. The quesadilla was acceptable, at best. I got nauseous right after eating and 3 hours later I still have a stomach ache.

On the Border is the best place! The staff is friendly. The food taste excellent. The drink prices are reasonable. I love the atmosphere, and they have the best happy hour in town. No place beats On the Border for food, friendly service and fun

Me and the wife decided to have dinner here and not knowing that it was taco Tuesday and we also stumbled up on happy hour specials. To me i think they have one of the best happy hour appetizers and the Margaritas were good as well. Our server was excellent she was informative of the menu items, friendly and attentive to our needs. I see people gave some bad reviews, but my experience was excellent. I recommend this restaurant and I will coming back.

More like crappy Tex Mex and slow service. My veggie fajitas we gross but my cheese quesadilla were ok. You can screw those up. Our server acted like she hated her job and being there and she was super slow. I’ll probably not come back anytime in the near future or ever again.

Food is mediocre not worth it. Well the chips are good and the water. The guy server with blonde hair and glasses was very rude. Will definitely never comeback. Only reason I came was because I had a gift card. You are better off buying microwave burritos

Great chips, salsa and guacamole. Prices are decent, nothing too over the top. I don’t really know what to say about the food here. It’s not terrible but not great, it’s good but could be better. They were better years ago, I’m not at all sure what happened.
Fortunately the wait staff make up for it. I’ve come to this one a few times and have always experience great service. If something is cold, not prepared the way I like it, or down right nasty they’ve always been willing to take it back and give me something else with there being no trouble.
I just wish the food were better.

Honestly why even be open if when I stove there a solid hour before close and you tell me I’m only allowed to get bar drinks and appetizers. Just close at 10.

My family and I really enjoy coming to On The Border in Easton. We drive from Johnstown to eat here regularly.
They have delicious chips and salsa. Their salsa is always fresh and has a great flavor. I absolutely love it.
The place is always clean and service is good most of the time. Every once in a while you get a bad server but for the most part it’s very good.
My favorite is the achiote chicken tacos, which they have recently done away with unfortunately. But the fajitas are also very good. All of the tortillas are freshly made in house and are nice and fluffy. The Mexican rice is also very good.
It’s «chain» Mexican style food for sure, but it’s still one of our go-​to family places.
We often do small get togethers here (8 – 10 people) and have no issues. They deal well with bigger parties.

Really not great service. We waited a super long time for drinks, placing orders and for our food to come, and it wasn’t that busy. The meal was above average but not worth making this a destination for dinner. There are better choices in town.

Worst service I have ever had in recent memory. Actually, if I’ve had worse service, I do not remember when. I don’t think this was typical though. Other tables were being served quickly. Their drinks were filled. They were not waiting ten minutes for drinks… or queso dip… or their food… or the check. We couldn’t get out of here soon enough. I almost wanted to give it two stars for the food… but then about a quarter of my steak burrito was fatty chewy meat — not even edible. So there went that one star. Best part of this place… leaving. Well, maybe their chips, but I’ll just get those in the store somewhere else.
We came, we saw, we will keep on looking for a good Mexican restaurant we can patron on a regular basis… because I wouldn’t go back here if my meal was free. This meal should’ve been free now that I think about it.

My girlfriend and I stopped in for lunch today and the food was fantastic. She got the Saturday special, an open faced taco platter and I made my own combo of a taco and two enchiladas.
It was refreshing to eat at a Mexican restaurant that serves salsa and chips, where the salsa has at least a small kick to it.
I do agree, that if you’re seated at a 2 person table; it is a little on the small side. However it wasn’t a big issue and one that didn’t impact our experiences nor the food.
We’ll be back for sure as we both saw other things on the menu that we want to try!

I’m giving 5 stars mainly because of the FOH manager, Reid, and the experience he gave me from the moment I walked in the door. I was greeted right away, but not in a cheesy corporate bs way, then taken care of him personally as I sat at the bar. I didn’t sit and wonder if anyone noticed me, but instead got exactly what I wanted without feeling like I was twisting an arm. His communication with every guest, not only me, was spot on and made the atmosphere.
Part 2 is going to regard the food experience, which was also great. Food came out in 10−12min, hot and on point. The price is so right. Killer fajitas and everyone else seemed to experience the same with their food.
Thumbs up.

I ordered the customized combo of beef crispy taco, beef enchilada with sour cream sauce, and beef empanadas. Their beef except for the empanadas are super salty. I’m so disappointed in the quality of food here. On the flip side, the staff is very nice and are great. But, the food not so much…

My friend and I came for lunch. We were seated, very quickly, at the smallest table in the place. Between the chips and salsa and our fajita plates, we had to stack everything to be able to access our meals. We had to ask for refills after our drink cups sat empty for more than 5 minutes, while our waitress only came back to check on us 10 minutes after we finished.
I ordered pick two fajitas (steak and shrimp) and was brought out shrimp and chicken. After she say it down she told me to eat it and she would bring the steak out in a minute. When it was brought out it was cooked to my liking, and had great flavor.
My friend ordered the chicken fajitas and it was good.

Yet another place I’m sure I already reviewed, but…
Sweetie and I stopped in when Edamame was closed– again– and we needed lunch nearby. She had been before, and I joined that party late and sampled some entrees. My memories are that it was «meh.»
Today she got the lunch combo with chicken tacos and a salad. I had the «ranchilada» combo– steak with sauce and cheese, a couple of enchiladas, and rice and beans.
It was all… okay. The steak was a bit tough, but tasty. The enchiladas were fine. The rice and beans were very good (I had black beans, she had refried.) She liked her taco and salad.
Service was… okay. Friendly, but not very quick checking up on us.
Price was high for average food. This place is not my first choice in the Easton area, and we ended up here almost randomly. I didn’t hate it, but I probably won’t be back.

Came here with friends from HS. Quite a good pick I must say.
Happy hour is amazing. There are so many good food deals that you have to take advantage. A good amount of drink specials are on there too, but the food ones are the star of this happy hour show. Check out to see for yourself,
Unfortunately, dishonest workers at the bar. Took more tip from my card than I put down. Had to contact and contest charges with my credit card company. So, I won’t be going back here because of that.

Second time here. The first was better but not impressive. Can we say, «super duper chainy»?
Drinks — meh… great happy hour prices but not a quality drink. Order a beer.
Service — slow but good attitudes in the staff. There is always a awkwardly long wait to be greeted and/​or seated.
Food — not authenic, more texmex. Not horrible but depending — could be frozenesque.
