After finally switching my dentist from Cincinnati to one in Columbus I selected Dr. Katyal. He has not only been great during regular check ups in being transparent in any possible issues but is also a magnificent oral surgeon. He extracted my wisdom tooth with no pain and with great precision and timing. My recovery time was minimal as was my pain after (I barely had to take any of the painkillers prescribed to me). He has also been great in being available outside of office hours in case of emergencies. He is great with patients and not only a great dentist but someone that’s a joy to visit. I have recommended friends to him (for general dental needs to more specialized needs like veneers) and everyone I have referred has been more than pleased. If you’re looking for a new dentist or someone that takes pride in their work and strives for perfection I would recommend Dr. Ron Katyal.

One of the hassles of moving to a new city is having to replace your circle of service professionals. A hair stylist who knows how to cut your hair perfectly? Check. A bartender who has your drink poured before you even sit down at the bar? Check. A dental office with associates who know how to make you feel like family? Double check!
Ohio Dental Family is personable, efficient, and passionate. Most importantly, they do honest and high-​quality work.
Don’t expect to be treated like just another patient, expect to be treated like someone they care about and want to know. The name of their establishment makes perfect sense: at Ohio Dental Family Center you really are part of the «family.»

This review will be broken into two sections: dental visits and Botox visits.
1) Dental Visits: I visit this practice for my regular teeth cleanings. The staff is friendly, there is ALWAYS a wait, but luckily I work close by and I am late for my appointments anyways. I see Dr. Paulson for my dental work and he has never let me down in terms of service. The dental hygienists are all very professional and and sweet as well.
2) Botox: why yes, I have also visited this practice for something more sinister and severe than a root canal: vanity. I noticed in some wedding pictures in July that I had some horrible forehead wrinkles across my forehead – apparently these are caused by surprise. I deal with a lot of surprise in my life: credit card bills, emails from my boss I «never got,» speed limits I misread and freaking forehead wrinkles!
I was convinced to do Botox at this practice after seeing the results of the product on the staff – they all look so beautiful and wrinkle-​free…
Dr. Katyal does the Botox and he was fantastic – I got my fix the same day as my consult. He did a great job and even though I cannot move my forehead no one has really noticed. This was good news as I wanted a natural result – well, as natural as you can get with a neurotoxin injected into your face.
Dr. Katyal put me totally at ease, and he’s pretty funny to boot. If you are considering getting Botox I would see him for a consult.
I love my Botox!
EDIT: I am updating this review based on some complications I have been having with a cavity. The staff has been SO flexible in getting me quickly scheduled. I actually live by the East Side location but travel to the South Side because the staff is attentive and a pleasure to be around.
