My first visit to the O.H. Sports Bar was for an April special they were running. My wife found it on the Hollywood Casino website. For $ 12.99 my wife and I each had a delicious perfectly cooked one pound prime rib. The meal came with a side of mashed with their skins on potatoes and fresh green beans. We were one of two couples in there at the late lunch early dinner hour so it was very quiet. The waitress was very nice and the meal came out very quickly. We really didn’t look at the regular menu only ordered the special. The only thing missing was dinner rolls but that wasn’t a deal breaker. The meal was pretty darn tasty for a bar and yes we both ate the whole thing! It was that good.

Although we had a great waitress the service was beyond terrible. After waiting 25 minutes we were told our check in was lost. We promptly seated after that and was greeted by a friendly waitress who looked like she was exhausted. She took our order and promptly served our drinks. Another 30 minutes passed before our food arrived.. I had the burger and my wife had the shrimp salad. Both entees were ok. The brownie dessert was outstanding. One would have thought the place would have it together however it operated like a new establishment.

First Unilocal review. And it took repeated visits of bad service to get me to say something bad. It was great when it first opened. Now you get poor customer service and food quality has deteriorated. The final straw is making casino players dine-in or pay cash. The whole point of a casino is to have players money at the tables not in the restaurant. Congrats, o.h. lounge and Take 2 Grill! You got me to post my first Unilocal review.

O.H. is not a bad choice… If you have time to waste. O.H., stationed right in the middle of Hollywood Casino has impressive ambience, pretty typical American food and comfy seating. What else could you possibly want? I had their Chop salad, which was A-OK, but nothing to write home about. I was a little weirded out that they stuff your salad into a Mason jar, and you’re forced to watch your server play ‘Dump the salad out of the mason jar into a bowl’. I don’t know if the chef who came up with such a stupid idea thinks it’s fun, or innovative. It’s just extremely awkward for the person who ordered said salad, and the poor waitress. Sandwiches here are where it’s at. The Rueben was ginormous and looked excellent and the club sandwich was large enough to feed four people easily. Tastes are average. Again, it’s not anything appealing to the ‘Best of’ crowd, but it’s not horrible, either. Quantity goes hand in hand to the money you’re dishing out. Pizza seems to be the highly recommended item, but I had to pass for this trip. Other than the awkward mason jar salad, the lowest part of our visit was the número uno complaint on Unilocal about this place… A case of hide n go seek with the server. The server disappears and you’re left sitting around for a while wondering about your refills, and your check. Not a horrible choice if you’re looking for some grub at Hollywood without the high price tag of the buffet, or steakhouse, but a step above the café. A-OK. Could improve on the service part, as many have stated.

This place just changed their menus completely. For worst. Pizza for an example, I didn’t mind eating it, but they must be getting low grade ingredients and crust sucks up all of the grease. How hard is quesadilla? Easy, but taste like crap with hard steak that you can’t chew! Taco Bell and Little Cesar’s are better bang for buck. I’ve been eating here many times, but will be my last.

Not impressed with O. H at all. Our wait was«35 minutes», we waited 45. There weren’t enough servers on the floor and our service was less than ok. We waited awhile for refills and by the time we got our ketchup we were ready for the check. Our server was friendly but the service was slow. On a brighter side, The $ 10 pretzel is worth $ 10! It is huge and you won’t be disappointed.

The food is decent, the service is awful. You will wait and wait and wait. My dining companion finally walked over to retrieve our drinks that had been sitting there for some time. Rarely is it crowded but always slow. Don’t bother. Hopefully someday the management will decide to do something about it.

We usually eat at the Final Cut when we are at the casino, but We were a little early and decided to try the OH, I thought We were in trouble when their was no Hostess to seat Us, someone finally arrived and We were seated the restaurant was empty only five or six tables actually occupied — - and We waited and We waited and waited three tables just got up and walked out We did the same I mentioned it to one of the bar staff—(shoulder shrug) «OH well» was the reply. I guess that why they call it the OH(as in OH why did I bother) The final cut was still not open at 4:30 so We grabbed a snack at the«Take Two» —- No wait just get in line order, sit and eat. I don’t understand why restaurants hire people who don’t won’t to work their— customer service and common decency cost nothing the Casino boast it’s paid out over 100M in jackpots maybe they could spare a few bucks and maybe send some of their staff on a customer service course.

Food is excellent, but the service here is a joke. Our waitress took 15 mins to get us our waters, 26 mins to retrieve a bottle of beer, 52 minutes to bring us our appetizer(never brought us silverware or plates), 79 minutes to bring our salads. Never offered to refill our waters once.

I’m on a bad service roll right now. Maybe it’s my fault. Service sucked at every step, from never being greeted to waiting 15 minutes for drinks to not having silverware and food being forgotten. Total disaster. Most irritatingly, everything took SOLONG. Need silverware? I’ll be back in 8 minutes. Ready for your check? Let’s wait 12 minutes(timed it). We watched our server(three of us at the table have waited tables, we’re judgmental creeps) and she had 3 tables. Wtf? Whatever, if we were just out for dinner, but that dinner completely killed our buzz and we were just ready to go home and go to sleep, rather than keep playing. Two stars for the food, which was actually pretty good.

Restaurant review only! As Mike G. said — Pizza, pizza, pizza. Every time I come to the casino, I can feel the need to stop for the buffalo chicken or loaded potato pizza. The potato pizza usually wins in my book cuz it is unique with slices of potato and bacon layered on as toppings. Good price of $ 9 for a small and $ 12 for a large. Large can usually feed 2 – 3 people. They are cut into squares which makes it easy for serving, sharing, etc. TVs — There is 1 large screen and 2 sets of 4 smaller projector screens. Generally, the local teams are on 2 of each of the clusters of screens plus the large one. While it is technically part of the O.H. Lounge but you can’t see it from the restaurant, the stage area is also a great place to check out as they’ve got various sports playing on the numerous screens during football season. Fri & Sat nights usually have a live band with a different genre each night and bands are both great local acts and groups from other parts of the country. On this side of O. H, drink service but can’t order food.

They greet you quickly & seat you. The décor of the place look very classy for a sport bar type restaurant. Once at table… You wait a bit for a server to come greet you and take your drink/app order. You then get to wait a good bit before they return, with said drink & take ur tables order. Order placed, fast quick and painless. Makesure your with good company because it takes a while to get your app. We ordered the OH nachos– very tasty & very different, beware they have BBQ sauce– that was new for us. We all received a refill without asking(that’s a plus in my book. For my dinner I ordered the BELT burger. ORDERIT. It won’t disappoint. Add a touch of mayo, and your belly & taste bud will enjoy a perfect burger. The sweet potato fries add to the dish and the refiles kept coming. Once done, check was quick… Picking up money quick. Getting back card… Slow.

From what I have heard, O.H. is supposed to be a sports bar. I come on a Saturday in hopes to catch the hometown Blue Jackets in the midst of a playoff race. When I get there, the Blue Jackets are no where to be found. While I’m able to find New Mexico vs. SD St. on eight screens and Michigan vs Minnesota hockey on two; no blue jackets. I am not so oblivious to understand that a quarter of the crowd here can’t spell hockey, but come on, it is the home team. When I ask the waitress to turn a tv to the jackets she tells me it is impossible as corporate sets the tv’s. To me this is unacceptable on 2 fronts…1) Columbus is a home team that is currently fighting for a playoff spot, 2) The casino is a sponsor of the team. As a result, my gambling money has been put away and I will not be returning as this place is not worth my money.

Ate here when I met my friend and his parents for an impromptu trip to Columbus to gamble at Hollywood Casino. We were thinking about eating at the buffet, but ended up here because none of us thought we could independently eat 30 dollars worth of random food from the buffet. The restaurant was cute, in the middle of the entire casino with TVs lining the entire circle where the restaurant sat. We were told it could take up to 1 hour to get a table. We saw many empty tables around the restaurant and most tables in the bar were available. We asked if we could just order at the bar and were told we could only have drinks there and they didn’t serve food. Weird. But, okay. So, we had a seat and were catching up and didn’t really understand why there were so many tables available, yet people were being given pagers. Regardless, we were seated about 25 minutes later. Our server was pretty awkward — no people skills — and service all together was kind of slow. The food was GREAT, though! I got the Caprese Chicken Sandwich. The chicken was really good and the bread it came on was DELISH! Loved the fresh mozz on the sandwich too. I got fries on the side and they were great too. My friend got the buff chicken wrap with the side of asparagus and he said it was all really good. His parents shared the buffalo chicken pizza and a caesar salad. They LOVED the pizza! Highly recommended it. There was a band that was going to start playing in the section next to the restaurant(they often have live music) and the drummer just sat there and was annoyingly hitting his stick on the drum every 5 seconds… REALLY annoying. Needed some ibuprofen after leaving the restaurant. Overall, this place is pretty good. Service was meh, but food made up for it. I could have done without the drummers attempt to be a metronome before their performance. Haven’t tried anything else in the casino so can’t compare it to the rest of the options. But, worth going for the food.

Pizza, Pizza, Pizza. This is the second time I’ve eaten here. Great open dining area where you can sit and survey the casino action while watching people lose their money while you enjoy a good meal. I went to O.H. on Christmas Day with my grandma. We each ordered Amaretto Sours and we each got a small pizza @ $ 9 each. Get this, we assumed they would be personal sized, you know 8″ or so. Nope, these were mediums, maybe 13″ at least! Bonus points for cutting the pizza into squares, as it was meant to be. The crust was slightly crispy and chewy both. My Veggie had a great sauce and an OK amount of toppings with a decent portion of cheese. Grandma’s had a modest amount of peps but there was quite a bit of cheese. Grandma said hers was good too. Amaretto Sours were, I think, $ 4.50 each and went down real easy, so we each had two. I wonder if you can do take out pizza? I’ll have to ask next time I’m there because it’s a deal for the price.

I’ve visited this Hollywood Casino bar twice — once on a Saturday night and once on a Saturday afternoon. Both times it was okay, not great and not terrible. The layout is interesting — a large round area smack dab in the middle of the casino. I can’t really call it a room because it’s so open. If you’re not careful you might accidentally walk into O.H. when you really just meant to walk to the other side of the casino. On a Saturday night, this place was packed. Giant TV screens(like, movie theater giant) were playing the meaningful sport events of the evening, which unfortunately for me was UFC. Fighting gives me the creeps so having no escape from watching two bloodied men pummeling each other did not make for the most pleasant environment. It was a little difficult to get a drink with so many people crowding and hanging out around the bar. The crowd was quite interesting, diverse(to say the least) and pretty great for people watching. Prices are pretty much what you’d expect from a place like this — a couple bucks above what you’re used to paying for a bottle of beer. They did have a live band when I was there, so that was fun. One Saturday afternoon, bf and I somehow ended up at Hollywood Casino after a morning of hiking. I thought I’d feel really out of place in my hiking clothes… Nope. Black stretchy pants for days. The bartender at O.H. was mostly unoccupied so we had great service and he even offered us some different drink options to save us some money. Most of the people at O.H. were there to grab a beer on their way to the slots or to have a bite to eat. There weren’t many people and the environment was drastically different(I gotta say I prefer this place a little more laid back). I’m sure we’ll stop by O.H. again the next time we’re at the casino but it definitely isn’t a destination in itself.

This place is OK to eat at in the Casino as something in between the Buffet and their upscale steakhouse. I had the burger; no complaints. Nothing overly special.

Traveling for work I’ve eaten here a couple times and have never been disappointed. First let’s start with it’s overwhelming #1 quality… sports. If you’re looking for a place to watch the Presbyterian Univ. vs. the fighting camels of Campbell, they’ve probably got it and more TVs than you can keep your eyes on. Their menu is relatively standard, no outlandish choices, but overall they make a good dish. The best thing I’ve had so far was the caprese chicken sandwich. Their beer selection is standard and their prices are ok, still $ 5 for a beer, but take what you can get. Service is ok, they seem to be a little than great when the bar is busy, but all the experiences I’ve had are par or better. In an area devoid of anything that isn’t a national chain the place is definitely worth checking out.

I’ve been here twice so far… Once for lunch and another for a night out to dance and watch the band. First off, the atmosphere is incredible along with the rest of the casino… Very high class finishes and total old Hollywood Vegas style. I love the walls of tv’s! For lunch I had the salmon Caesar which I highly recommend. The salmon was cooked perfectly medium rare and the romaine was crisp and delicious with just enough salad dressing. Oh! And the presentation was gorgeous. The bartenders were helpful and attentive. My second visit I was disappointed by a few things, I ordered wine and it came in a plastic cup. I don’t use plastic cups at home and would not expect it from any classy bar/restaurant. Please get some glass glasses! This totally affected my experience. The next issue was I went to see a band who I have gone to see a couple of times. They are a fun band and I love to dance to them. The problem was there really isn’t a dance floor… The casino needs to clear out an area for dancers. Hollywood casino Toledo has a big dance floor and its usually jammed with people… in Columbus there were maybe three or four people all night. I think it’s because of the size of the dance floor. On this visit, the service was fine, not bad, not outstanding. I will go back for lunch definitely and for a night… maybe…

o.h. is the sports bar/restaurant inside the Hollywood Casino. When they say Vegas Style casino, they mean it. It reminded me exactly of a restaurant inside a Vegas Casino. There’s a bar with seating on both sides, one full of video poker, the other a beautiful geode bar top. Super comfy seats. The restaurant itself is huge with tons of tables. So, many, the staff hasn’t memorized the seating chart yet as they reflect on it often to seat people. Staff was nice and did a decent job! Especially excellent was bar tender, Kyle, who was really on the ball. This is THE place for sports watching. Amazing projection onto huge glass panels all through the restaurant. Crystal clear picture. Best part, when nothing’s on, there is beautiful glass panels and not ugly TV’s hanging everywhere. Menu was a good selection of bar food. Appetizers with some unique twists, pizzas $ 10-$ 12, Sandwiches $ 9-$ 11, Burgers $ 10-$ 11, Entrees $ 11-$ 14. Translation= more than reasonable prices. We ordered the Ruben(10) and the Casino Club(11), one with«house made» fries, one with sweet potato fries. Both were really solid sammies. Ruben could have used more sauce, but house cured pastrami and corned beef were the star with good marbled rye and fresh sauerkraut. Casino Club was on good herb focaccia, with crispy bacon and warm good deli turkey(Rusty Bucket should take note). House made fries did not taste house made, but were fine anyway. Sweet potato fries were standard, good. Dill pickle half was excellent quality. Draft Yeungling in a 15oz glass(yes, not 16oz as you’d think-it’s still a casino) was $ 4, On Sunday, house white wine pours were $ 4 and bud light bottles are $ 4. FUNFACT: We were told that Bud Light Bottles actually account for 17% of the casinos TOTAL revenue! Mind blowing! I don’t know why people would buy bottle when they have draft? Also, they have a rule where you cannot buy more than one drink for yourself at a time. If you order 2, the other recipient must be in sight of the bartender or you’re not getting it. Bottom line, 2 sammies, and 2 draft beers = $ 30 with excellent service from Kyle = $ 36 with roulette winnings = going home with $ 44 a full belly and a smile.
