This is a nice market right by Lalibela restaurant. I will admit the parking situation is not the best, not very much shared parking for all the activity in this little strip mall, but it is worth the trip. There are often items you’ll find here that you can’t easily find elsewhere, like chayote squash, and fresh empanadas on Saturdays. Those are also available by special order, I’ve ordered the shrimp empanadas and they were fantastic. I remember when Theraflu was off the market not due to the product itself but issues the facility it was manufactured in, it was winter and I was desperate. This place had essentially the same thing, same ingredients in a tea-like concoction called Viro-grip or something like that. I bought them all, totally cleared them out. Sometimes you can find guarana here, not always, but definitely can always find a central/south american version of your favorite soft drink made with real sugar!
