Everything fell into place with my visit… beating traffic-both ways… parking front row at North Market… I did well not to buy everything I saw… Each of the 4 veg options I added to my plate had very distinct but more importantly great flavor! The kind of combos I truly appreciate… kudos to Chef…(The Chef was there but I didn’t want to be too touristy… I didn’t bring my copy of the book… the staff was very friendly and I would definitely go back!

Recently I’m in love with some sort of kind of healthy food. This place stands out among others since the healthy options are provided here. They got lot of vegetable options you can choose. There is frittata with choice of 1 or 2 scoops veggie, or you can just pick different kind of veggies up to 4 scoops with varying price. This time around I had organic kale with sweet potato frittata and two scoops of veggies: beets and butternut squash quinoa. Everything was $ 12 altogether. I would say it’s a little pricey considering how much food I got, but it was totally worth it. They got organic ingredients and I feel like it was the healthiest food I could find in North Market. Not mentioning the taste, it was so good! I would definitely come back here for more!

Little Eater was a perfect post-workout healthy splurge. For a small space, they have a large variety of salad-like items to choose from, and today, frittata and quiches. Oh, and cookies!(My workout was not epic enough to justify a cookie. Alas.) Everything is organic/locally sourced and of course, made fresh. They do have a menu at the right side of the counter, if you need time to check out ingredients or ask questions regarding allergies/sensitivities, They price their salads by the«scoop» — $ 3 each. You get about a cup of food per scoop — pricey, but high quality. I got a potato, cheese, garlic frittata and FOURSCOOPS. Cause I like scoops. Mixed green salad with citrus dressing, beet salad with feta cheese(so glad to see beets paired with something aside from goat cheese!), spelt salad with kale, and roasted potato salad with microgreens. All excellently prepared and all the ingredients had a chance to shine. The roasted potato salad was my favorite, though. Very hearty and filling all around. I didn’t even miss the cookie. This is a great stop for a healthy meal at North Market.

Do you like whole fresh foods on the run? A small bento like box of delicious? Then this is your spot. It offers quick whole fresh foods to fit every dietary needs. To me the concept seems to be centered around«the scoop». Most items come with a «scoop» of fruit or veggies. The menu is detailed and most itmes can be customized to order. No «regrets» of stuffing yourself full of anything.

Love this place! I could eat here everyday. I’m not a vegetarian but you don’t have to be to enjoy their food. Delicious, healthy food.

First time to North Market, we found this charming little eatery right as we walked in. It was a Sunday morning about 10:30AM and we were surprised by how many options there were at the market. Little Eater stood out though, we walked by the freshly made frittatas and quiche and were sold! It was nice to see they had an ever changing menu catered to local and seasonal available produce. They let us sample a few before deciding and it was nice to try a few things I normally don’t eat. We finally decided on the Mushroom and Shallot quiche topped with Gruyère and had two sides: the roasted butternut squash with quinoa and citrus dressing and the sweet potato and black beans with lime and cilantro. These were made fresh and the quality of the ingredients were amazing! Pleasant and friendly staff, moderately priced and superb fresh local and seasonal ingredients marks this little eatery in my book. Will definitely be back!

All the salads are wonderful, healthy cookies and desserts are wonderful and so memorable, it is hard to try new dishes. Little Eater’s master sales person, Jewel, was a perfect addition to a wonderful experience. There are many great restaurants in North Market and I love to return where I am as special as the food.

Try this little place out when you visit the north market! They have a lot of surprisingly flavorful vegetarian choices. I highly recommend taste testing the salads before you buy a scoop or two or four. The portion of the scoop is quite a lot. You can get multiple scoops of the same item of you really like something. They have sandwiches too but they look kind of dry, so I didn’t try those.

I thought it was more of a 3.5 stars experience but since my bff liked this place so much and they do have different dishes each day… Anyways, we had 2 scoops one of the chick pea which was kind of dry in my opinion and one scoop of the slaw which was the best out of the two. I heard the cous cous is rather tasty, too bad they didn’t have it on the day we went! Maybe next time!

Solid and healthyish. They have several fresh salads to choose from that offer a lot of choices from kale, quinoa, beets, and slaw. They also have little sandwiches/crostinis and quiches. $ 10 for three salads to go – very filling. I found their beets to be the best thing. Slaw as good. Garbanzo bean salad was a little bland. Crostini was good. I agree that the prices are a little high but it seems like sustainably produced food. I would come back and it’s the healthiest option in North Market.

Finally, an option at North Market that doesn’t make me regret shoving my face with tons of fat and carbs(albeit delicious fat and carbs). I can see myself eating here once a week, thanks to the Cbus Circulator! For my lunch, I purchased a slice of quiche with two scoops of veggies(what an innovative way to sell veggies!). The beet salad is divine, as is the kale and spelt berries. Honestly, I like my own version of quiche better, but for a meal that included luscious veggies, it was quite serviceable(yes, I’ve become that annoying home cook who loves her own versions of some things). Even though I was famished and could’ve eaten the entire box of to go amazingness, I held back so I could have a tasty breakfast the next day. Can’t wait to go back!

So happy to have found this place amongst a plethora of really heavy(but probably very delicious), and likely indigestible food in the North Market. We were visiting from the west coast, where the are generally more options for those of us with finicky stomachs like me, so when I found a beer salad and mushroom quiche, I was ecstatic. My food was very fresh and very yummy. Definitely try this place if you’re in the market and not feelin’ the barbeque or lasagna.

I was a little hesitant to try this as it seemed basic and a little pricey. I finally did for lunch the other day and was pleasantly surprised. The food tastes super fresh and whole. And the«scoops» are good size. I thought the menu was a little confusing as I thought whatever you ordered came with one or two scoops as part of what was ordered. No. You get what you ordered(crostini, sandwich etc) and THEN the scoops in addition. Delicious and relatively guilt free.

I am thrilled that a place like Little Eater exists in North Market, and will definitely be coming back. I had the Ramp Pesto Crostini and the Quinoa/Asparagus salad. The crostini was a standout: a big, generous slice of baguette with very zesty pesto and gorgeous soft cheese. I also enjoyed the vegetable scoop, but think it could have been a little more flavorful, which explains the 4 stars. But in my search for a light, fresh lunch, Little Eater definitely delivered. I love that they are so focused on seasonal ingredients, and their passion shows with a ton of gorgeous, interesting, plant-based options. I’m so excited to eat my way through this menu!

Great subtle tastes! And healthy, too! I’ve had my eye on LE since reading about them moving into North Market. Love it. Fantastic flow of people/business. Customers can get their food and keep moving(whether it be upstairs to sit at a table, or head out back to work/play. And, of course, they are promoting the local economy, using local produce as much as possible. I decided to stop by after work — around 2:30 on a Friday. I didn’t have to wait in line, got helped right away, perfect conditions! The day’s menu is clipped onto a few clipboards, neat idea. I pulled one off the hook and visually matched the salads, and sandwiches, on the counter. I picked the beet sandwich(beets, avocado, pickled onions, goat cheese), which came with 1 scoop of a salad. I reserved that space for their squash, quinoa, kale, pepitas and citrus vinaigrette toss-up. The sandwich was good. I personally love red beets, and feel they give a better, bolder, flavor, so perhaps that would have added a better flavor-complex than the yellow slices… Fresh avocado. The goat cheese? A creamy cheese, spread on the ciabatta bun. Seemed like was tasting hits of cream cheese, but who knows — I’m not too knowledgeable about cheeses, in general. The quinoa salad was great. The vinaigrette had a light fruity flavor. Bold, but not smothering. The Israeli cous cous concoction also caught my eye, so I got a single-scoop to go. Roasted rutabaga, carrots and currants? Yes, please! I was caught off guard by this salad, actually. I was prepared for bold, citrus flavors, and I got the opposite, which was a great surprise. The dried currents did poke their tastes through. There is no strong vinaigrette topping this salad — just wholesome goodness, not masked at all! I most assuredly am looking forward to trying more of the salads here. Easy in-and-out flow. I think this joint’s concept is a fantastic addition to the Market: D

I am officially on a mission to eat EVERYTHING made by Little Eater. Before they opened in North Market I tried the pre-made quinoa and spelt(or maybe farro?) salads that were previously available at(now closed) The Greener Grocer and thought they were interesting flavor combos and good but not mind-blowing. Today, I stopped in to see what was available in their new location. Mind blown. My favorite thing was the potato and kale frittata. You can actually taste the roastedness(I might have just made up that word) of roasted potato goodness in this slice of heaven. It was also perfectly cooked — no undercooked/still starchy or overcooked/mushy potatoes and surprisingly hearty. Amazing! I also tried the Israeli cous cous salad with bits of chopped bell pepper and a hint of sweetness(I think from dried blueberries?) and the carrot with black sesame salad. Both were delicious. I was VERY tempted by the cheddar biscuits and will definitely try one on my next visit. Slice of frittata and scoop of carrot salad was $ 9 — absolutely on point for the portions and quality. It’s obvious that a lot of attention to detail is put into their foods and I really appreciate that thoughtfulness. I can’t wait to see the magic Little Eater’s team will make when more local produce is available and in-season.

Little Eater is exactly what the North Market needed! As the North Market continues its transition from shopping market to the best food court in central Ohio, it needed a spot to grab a healthy meal. Man cannot live on hot chicken alone. Little Eater’s slogan is «produce inspired,» but I think it should be produce-centric instead… because the fruits and veggies are the star of the show here. I’m not vegetarian or vegan, but I AM a lover of delicious food – and this place totally delivers. Their menu changes seasonally, but they have: –loads of fresh salads(some with grains, some without) –crostinis topped with spreads, drizzles, veggies, fruits… you name it –sandwiches loaded with veggies –soups that are house-made, hearty, and delicious –quiches –snacks and treats The ordering process is a little confusing at first, but just remember this: it’s all about the scoops. The menu is built around how many scoops of vegetables or salads you want. You can mix and match soups, salads, sandwiches – everything. For example, I got a cup of carrot ginger soup and two scoops of salads. I can’t for the life of me remember what they were, but I do remember they were both extremely beautiful and both were flavor explosions in my mouth. That’s the thing about the food at Little Eater – it’s not«good for vegetarian…» It’s just downright good. Great, even. My mind is blown by how creative the flavor combinations are here, and I am counting down the days until I get to go back and try something new. The price point is on par with similar meals – about $ 12 for soup, two salads, and a pellegrino. And the people are wonderful! They are so incredibly lovely and helpful – which is especially great since the concept is a bit outside the norm. Little Eater is officially going into my food rotation – especially when I’m on the run and need something filling and nourishing.

Saw that this place was opening today and the idea sounded delightful, so I knew I had to check it out. The staff were friendly and offered samples to try out the different side options. Menu will be seasonal, so if you see something you think you’ll like, try it out! Today I had the mushroom quiche, the butternut squash side salad, a cheddar bay biscuit with sweet butter, and a sparkling blackberry soda. Everything was fantastic and filling, but I didn’t leave feeling bloated or meh. The only recommendation I have would be for them to heat up the warmer items more. Whether it was the temperature indoors, or me waiting a few extra minutes to eat, my food started to get cold. Still wonderful though. Living and working nearby, I’ll definitely be back soon!
