Kroger

This is the closest Kroger to my house, however I will only go there if I am in a rush. The parking lot is not clean, a lot of trash, and carts are everywhere. On more occasion than not there are not any had baskets for a quick trip, and sometimes there are NO CARTS!!! I have to go back to the parking lot to get one.
The produce department is often ill stocked and I have to ask for items (onions, garlic, herbs…). Produce is usually a large part of my purchase. The aisles are narrow and cramped, and this is a busy store!
The overall shopping experience from arrival in the parking lot to getting ready to check out at this location stresses me out, and I almost always need to make another stop because something is not in stock!
The only bright note is that the checkout staff is always friendly and courteous!

I shop here often and I’m currently on crutches due to foot surgery. I went to this store today only to find that all of their electric carts were not charged and unavailable for use. Beyond frustrating! I’m going to Meijer now.

just a typical grocery store. i love the fruit selection and i just cant stop by the dessert area without buying a cookie lol.

I frequent several different big chain grocery stores, just as you do, but finding a store where the staff are consistently friendly, courteous, helpful, and the store shelves are fully stocked with food you often need is really not so easy.
Kroger (Morse Rd.) usually has what I’m looking for and if not, I ask and the employees are very willing to either tell me the row and location in that row where I can find what I’m looking for.
I love that several associates often call me by name, and I also remember theirs. I also appreciate that they have adequate handicap parking available and seem to keep a close eye on the riding carts for abuse by those who don’t need them (children who get carts only to race around in the store, as an example.)
The aisles are nice and wide to allow me to easily get my walker through without any problem.
They usually have a pretty good stock of everything from apples to zucchini and everything in between.
One of the managers, Patty, is most always at the cash register whenever I come in. I’ve joked with her that she must have a room in the back of the store since she’s always there.
It’s been my experience that this
Kroger is pretty good about opening new lanes if one is crowded, as advertised.
My only ding is regarding their gas perks that seem to take forever to accumulate and reward you for shopping.

Despise this store.
It is very dark in this store. Their employees (not all but must) could care less you are there. Went there on a Saturday with my two kids. Waited approx 30 minutes just to get some deli meat. There were 2 other people in the deli but they absolutely REFUSED to help the young lady that was helping the customers. She even asked them to help her but they ignored her.
The check out was painful. They gentleman cashing me out was VERY nice and very respectful to both my kids and I but the bag boy SUCKED. He was having a conversation with a patron (I am assuming a friend) and even though my cashier asked him twice to help he acted like he didn’t even hear him and continued his conversation. When he was done talking to his friend, he went to another line to help bag (the other line had far less groceries than I did). He was just an all around jerk.
No thanks. I will go where people don’t act like I am inconveniencing them by buying over $ 250 worth of items.

I love this krogers until I have to go to the customer service center. It’s rent time and I have to get a money order.
There is usually only one worker working the whole thing and there’s usually a big huge line of people waiting. But other than that I love it.

Super close for me. The workers are very kind with us when we asked questions about items and coupon policy. I know where everything is at the store. I like to go their for sale prices and buying the deals. I love getting their lunch meat from the deli. I have to say the people and the location are what keeps me going back. I’ve never had a bad experience, and the workers are always there to help me.
Some of their items are expensive, so you can go elsewhere for that. I think their bathrooms need an upgrade (agree with Melissa)..

A decent Kroger. The latest remodeling helps, but it’s still a little dingy.

This is my favorite grocery store. Mainly because it’s less than a half mile from my home and I know where everything is kept. They have a good produce department and the have regular sales. I never buy their meat because I have Carfagna’s and The Fresh Market for that. They also have a bank inside the store and management who will go out of their way to do things for you.
