Great place to grab a little something after hitting up Mikey’s for pizza.
I’ve had several of the flavors. My favorite being Queen City Cayenne (an amazing mixture of cool creaminess and a little heat) and Wildberry Lavender is so light and flavorful. Earlier this year there was a flavor that I fell in love with, but it appears to be a seasonal type of thing. I don’t remember the name but it had to do with fir tree or pine tree. It was amazing, so not what I was expecting.

This is a perfect place to grab dessert during Picnic with the Pops.
It’s one of the few locations to carry the j-​bar during the summer months. It’s essentially vanilla ice cream with a drizzle of salty caramel sauce and smoked almonds covered in chocolate on a stick.
The staff is personable even with a long line of people at the window. And they are patient! The woman in front of me tried several different ice creams before she made her decision. But who can get irritated by that when there’s good music in the present and good ice cream in the near future?

This is a great location for Jeni’s Ice Cream! Right in the heart of downtown, it’s going to be booming in the hotter days of this summer. While it is just a small vendor building, they only have about 10 flavors of their ice cream here, including Almond Brittle and Poached Pear.
Customer service is great, ice cream is great, location is great, what more could you ask for?!?
So happy they put this here, I’m definitely going to be visiting all the time!
