I stumbled upon this adorable coffee shop on my way home from work and man, I am so glad I did. The barista provided the best customer service I’ve ever had at a coffee shop. As a former barista, my latte there was amazing! I really liked my scone as well. I loved sitting out in their patio to read with awesome views of downtown Columbus. Definitely a must and I will return!

Friendly owner and good coffee. I got a black drip coffee, and at 20 minutes before closing, it was piping hot! I’ll be back for some espresso offering very soon.

I stumbled onto this gem and am so happy I did. It is honestly the cutest coffee shop I have ever seen. The staff were so friendly and my Eiffle tower drink was simply delicious. They even have a nice cold simple salad and sandwiche option. I will be back! The prices are about as much as Starbucks but the drinks are superior.

This place is incredibly adorable and their specialty coffee selection is amazing. The staff was friendly and the setting is really comfortable. A must if you’re ever in downtown Columbus.

I stopped in on a Friday afternoon, while the owner was working the counter. She was extremely pleasant! The seating was impressively generous for such a little place. I had the day’s Costa Rican and some banana bread. Both were great. If I’m in the area again, I’ll certainly be revisiting this gem.

Hemingway is a gem tucked inside a building in the Columbus common. Met the owner and she was very personable and welcoming. You come across a lot of places downtown that have a modern trendy setting yet don’t always feel welcome. Not the case here. Me and my fiancé got blended drink. The owner made an off the menu drink for my fiancé to satisfy what she was in the mood for. I got the cookies and crème which is to die for. Including the décor, Hemingway is one of the best if not the best coffee shops I’ve ever been to. Highly recommend to any coffee fanatics out there. They have anything you will ever need in terms of coffee. Will be back soon !

The short of it: great atmosphere, awesome customer service and a very enjoyable latte.
Stopped in a few weekends ago and am glad that I did. The space is small but so cute and charming. There is a nice drink menu to choose from, including a wider array of roasted coffees than I was expecting. There is also a board with seasonal drinks which always keeps things fresh and interesting. I ordered a latte and it was very enjoyable. Sweet but not too sweet.
The owner was working and she was very easy and pleasant to chat with. She was very interested and helpful in choosing my drink selection.

I can’t believe that this I didn’t know about this glorious coffee place until this week! What a hidden gem. Please, please, go here for your daily caffeine fix instead of Sbux (or try it at least once). It’s a little tucked away in the 175 S. Third building, but has easy access from the north-​east quadrant of the Commons. You don’t even have to enter the main building because there is an entrance to Hemingway’s from the west side of the building.
Currently sipping on my low sugar Pumpkin Chai Latte and honestly, beats a PSL from Sbux any day. Hemingway’s also offers delicious snacks: donuts, muffins, bagels, and a litany of boxed sandwiches. Everything appeared to look fresh – will update my review once I sample some wares.

I am hesitant to write a review about this place because I want to keep it all to myself!
Stopped by today for a treat and was immediately and irrevocably in love with this teeny tiny café. The staff is really friendly and there is none of that barista snobbery that you sometimes feel at coffee shops. They’re helpful and will answer your questions and patiently wait while you oogle the huge menu and tasty treats. I ordered one of their signature lattes — though I cannot remember it’s clever name — and it was sinfully good. House-​made whip! The baked goods are also on point! I am excited to head back and maybe curl up with a nice book and some coffee and pretend that I’m enjoying an afternoon on the Left Bank.
As an only child, I hate to share… but I hope you go and check it out, because it is definitely worth a visit.

I have walked by the Hemingway’s sign a couple times now and happened to stop in this time. I am so glad that I did! Such a great atmosphere and delicious coffee. Since this was my time in, I was overwhelmed but the barista was so friendly and suggested their tiramisu blended coffee — it’s AMAZING. I pretty much drank it all by the time I got back to the office.
Another perk? They have grog as a daily brewed coffee.
Tell all your friends and go pay them a visit. Their patio looked like a nice place to take your break!

Hemingway’s Coffee Nook next to the Commons is my new addiction. I haven’t actually had any of their drip coffee (and their chai latte was a bummer), but I got them to make one of their specialty drinks, the «Eiffel Tower,» blended, with caramel sauce and OH MY GLOB.
If anyone needs me, I will be bathing my insides with house-​made whipped cream and perfectly sweet, blended goodness. I am sacrificing my blood sugar, waistline and wallet on the alter of the gods of Torani syrup and homogenized milk.
The décor is also super cute, the barista is great, and the owner is very friendly. It’s going to be a SERIOUS problem that this opened up right next to my office!
