I love Indian food. Everyone at Fame’s Diner is very friendly and nice. Their Indian food is EXCELLENT and if you love naan, they operate a real live naan oven right on the premises. It must have been expensive for them to install it but it is really awesome. They cook the naan fresh which makes all the difference because it comes out really light, fluffy, and warm and delicious.

Good Indian food. Had the Lamb Vindaloo. Just right amount of spice, plenty of rice and naan was fresh and tasty. Ingredients tasted fresh. Little pricey. $ 13 with no drink. I would defiantly order off the menu verses the lunch special that’s sitting out in warmers.

Disappointment is the best word to describe my meal here. I opted for Fame’s as I’m not a big fan of Subway, but soon wished I hadn’t. I ordered a Philly Steak for nearly $ 8 and received a sub that was stingy on the meat(I had to spread it around the bun so I’d get a little in each bite) and topped with lettuce, tomato and mayo, none of which were listed on the menu nor was I asked if I wanted them. It wasn’t bad really, it just wasn’t great. My main problems being the lack of meat for the price and the unsolicited salad in my sub. I won’t likely return.

Fame’s Diner is sort of like a diner, in that it’s called a diner and it serves some food that is also food that a usual diner might serve. It’s also not at all like a diner since it’s a food stand in a food court in the convention center, and not a self-contained restaurant like the name might evoke. Still, diner food isn’t exactly a staple of food courts, so it can be a welcome change to the usual burgers and subs you’d expect when you stop at Fame’s and get a perfectly ordinary, nothing-to-complain-about breakfast. They don’t screw up eggs or bacon in my experience, and that’s about what I expect from anything claiming, even so dubiously, to be a diner. It doesn’t feel like a diner, but it sort of tastes like one. This is nothing to travel to the convention center for, but if you’re around, hey– get some eggs. You need your proteins!

Attached to All American Hamburgers, Fame’s serves up a good diner-style breakfast and assortment of lunch items as well. Pricing is good, breakfast or lunch plus drink for under ten bucks. Since this is in the convention center foodcourt, hour vary, but they are usually open for breakfast and lunch.
