Good cheap Mexican in a casual setting. Service is friendly and food comes out very quickly. They will customize any dish you ask.

Service was not acceptable. It was slow & incomplete. One adult in party was finished eating before a child in the party received a cheese quesadilla. Waiter rarely checked on our table. Drinks were not refilled. Food was bland. Mexican food should have spice of some type. Very disappointed in both food & extremely disappointed in service.

Ketchup for salsa, tasteless rubbery chicken, everything else was like Taco Bell level food. I’ll never go back to this location. The ones in Phenix City are better. But if you want authentic, closest thing I have come across in Columbus is on Manchester Xpy. Won’t advertise for them, but if you seek it you will find it.

They have started ordering cheaper ingredients. My wife always loved the shrimp quesadillia and it was like ground up shrimp this time. I ordered a ribeye steak and it was like steak you buy at the dollar store in the vacuum seal packs. It also tasted like it was dropped on the floor because i kept getting gross crunchy bits with every bite. It was disgusting. I have been a frequent customer for 2.5 years and i want to know what happened? This used to be the best in town and now I don’t like the food and have had stomach issues the last 2 visits.

This place is one step below Taco Bell. At least at Taco Bell you know what your getting. I was shocked at the quality of the food. You can tell that all the meat is pre cooked and food is assembled like a fast food restaurant. Just moved here from Chicago where the taquerias make wonderful authentic Mexican food. It didn’t matter what we ate, it was all the same. Just different types of tortillas.

Waiter was nice, food was horible meat had no seasoning. The taco at taco Bell taste better than theirs. We had the lunch specials. Management really needs to get their staff with the cleaning our booth was dusty, lamp fixture had food residue. This should have been my 1st sign not to eat here. Overall this is not even close to a Mexican Restaurant. This is a microwave version of food.

Not bad, but not the best. The server was very attentive, we never had to flag him down. Drinks half full, bam he was offering refills and chips. The food didn’t take forever to be served and was hot. I had the Carne asada, it was good not great :) Hubby opted for the 3 crunchy taco plate, he was not happy and said the meat tasted like dog food :(my picky son had the quesadilla with chicken kids meal with rice to the side and loved it: D I was sad they didn’t make their own flour tortillas, so that’s a star off for me I don’t like fake ones but overall a pretty good experience.

I had the burrito caliente and it was not good. The food is cheap and the beer was cold. Nothing exceptional

I don’t know why so much negativity for this place, every time my family eats here it’s delicious and never too busy! We ate on a Friday night, were seated immediately and our server was fast. Definitely recommend!

LOVED this place. Probably one of the only things I miss about Columbus. For me this is it for authentic. I wish we had one where I live now. I think about their good often mostly when I’m pregnant. Haha

The service is just okay. The food and alcoholic beverages are ok but not as good as the other location on Macon rd. I won’t go to this one again. I thought it would be better since it’s on a better side of town. Also, they can get a bit busy so be prepared to wait on a weekend.

Ehh, not the best food here, the place is always packed and the staff seems overworked and forgetful because of this, the food is definitely not up to par compared to most Mexican places in town, I would recommend El Carrizo over this place

Well, it strikes me as an average Mexican restaurant mixed with a daycare. I would have just bailed halfway through, leaving money on the table, but the margaritas were strong enough to dull my senses adequately. The three of us tanked our drinks at the end just to pay the bill and split. The staff works hard but the chaotic kids and absent parents pretty much make this a two star at best joint. The food was average.

Dinner: food is the same as any Mexican restaurant. Their portions are not big, quite smaller than most Mexican Food restaurants(outside the South). Lunch: portions are good, food seems just as flavorless. The burritos have excessive beans, their tacos have excessive lettuce, and the enchiladas are covered in tasteless red sauce. Their chimichangas are no bigger than a taquito for the price of a duble-sized burrito! Overall, the food is lower quality, smaller sized, and created with a lot of filler ingredients instead of flavor. Wednesdays are wicked-busy. Salsa wasn’t chilled, chips were stale, queso was watery & coagulated(cold) with no flavor. Our server was non-existant, I never received a single beverage refill the entire hour we were there. We would have been gone sooner but we sat for about 30 minutes after our meal was complete without being checked on. They’re close to home so they’re convenient, and they seem decent when they’re not busy. Once they get to capacity, their service is garbage and their food is even worse.

Worst Mexican restaurant I’ve ever eaten in. My wifes Chile rellenos tasted like glue, no exaggeration. They also have a lot of computer printouts taped to the wall, which makes it look very cheap. Avoid.

I went on a Wednesday night with a group of people and was satisfied. Ambiance — Extremely casual. If you are looking for a romantic dinner, this is not the place to go. The dining area is huge and sparsely decorated. However, since we were there for their Margarita night, the place was packed. Food — The food was solidly average. It was definitely tasty, but not complex. This is why I docked one of the stars: the dishes are much more like Tex-mex than the authentic Mexican food I was used to in Southern California. However, if you go in with the proper expectations, you won’t be disappointed. Drinks — Wednesday nights are margarita night where they have $ 1.9916oz lime margaritas. I have to say I was impressed by the margaritas. I absolutely hate overly sugary cocktails that taste like they were made with a mix. These were pleasantly tart, fairly strong with just the right about of sweetness! Service — We were seated immediately despite the place being overflowing. I think for parties over 4 you can expect a Wednesday night wait. That being said, our waiter did not speak much English(which is why I docked the second star). He couldn’t really answer basic questions we had about the menu(like whether a dish was made with crunchy or soft tortillas). This was not a huge deal because the menu is pretty simple. Also, he and other waiters walked by frequently, so we were never waiting for service. All-in-all, this place was great for a fun casual night out with friends where you can have have some very good margaritas and decent food.

Pretty legit Mexican place: good chips and salsa, prompt service, steak fajitas were great. I’ll leave it some love.

My family has been to a couple different Mexican restaurants around exit 10 and this as our favorite. Their menu is large, containing most all of the standard fare. I’ve been meaning to try their ceviche and the rest of their seafood on the menu, but I haven’t felt like it when we’ve visited. Pros: +Food is well prepared, not too greasy or sloppy. +Very good prices +They seat you fast, even with long lines, tons of seating. +Service is quick and very nice. +Good salsa, guacamole and plenty of free chips. Cons: –They need a bigger parking lot. Park in the street sometimes. –Their chile rellano stuffing is kind of buttery tasting.

In comparison to the other Mexican Restaurants in the area. This one is exactly the same. In fact I have not tried this yet, but I think it may work. I am going to go each of them and get the number two. The menu’s are all the same. I know Mexico has creativity why can’t our Mexican restaurants. The service is nice. The building is nice. The atmosphere is nice. That is all I can say. The star of the show(the food) is just poorly average.
