The food is good, yet there have been a few times were I had egg shells in my egg wrap, that sucked. I am a vegetarian, and for the longest time no one mentioned to me that the hash browns had chicken stock in it. That is a failure on their part! But it’s great for those late night delivery meals, until they are 2 hours late, the food is cold and have an attitude about it. But other than that they are good!

Eggfast is now closed and has a «we are moving» sign on the front door. It says they will reopen in their new location in fall 2012 but did not mention their new location.

Don’t go here. At least not while school is out. I had rubbery eggs, reheated frozen sausage, dried out hash brown casserole. For a bfast joint, bad idea to serve shit when it’s slow. You definitely had time to cook my sausages, didn’t need to serve me a plate that looked and tasted like it had been under a warming lamp for an hour.

No good. The emphasis here is on the marketing and branding of the Eggfast breakfest delivery franchise/concept not the food. Meager portions of microwave/airplane quality food are way over priced. You will be disappointed.

— I am a breakfast food aficionado. Eggfast is a breakfast joint. — I could eat breakfast food all day. Eggfast is open 24 hours for most of the year. — Breakfast food is especially therapeutic when hungover. Eggfast DELIVERS.(Forget aspirin. Just answer the door when Eggfast gets to you and you’ll be 100% again in no time.) Needless to say, the whole idea of this place appeals to me since I live so close. The menu is affordable and tasty. Not gourmet, but not Waffle House crap either. Just, tasty. The Classic Breakfast with sausage is my default order, but I could eat an ENTIREHEAPINGMOUND of the Hash Brown Casserole. It’s that good, and they won’t give up the recipe. I wouldn’t recommend any and everyone try this place, as there are many other breakfast options suited to certain preferences. But, please, never take away MY neighborhood breakfast spot.

First review was done when it first opened. Now the hype is over and really… this should ONLY be drunk food. Please don’t eat this if you don’t have to. Staff look like they hate their jobs and the food looks like crap as well. I’d much rather go to the Taco Hut than here after the bars, and that’s saying something.

I can sum up the whole reason that anyone likes this place in 4 words. It is breakfast. Delivered. The food itself? Kinda meh. Not bad actually, but also not«zomg best meal EVAR» status. As far as breakfast quality goes, I’d much rather go to Wildflower Café. But they don’t deliver, and this place does. So when you’ve had a craptastic day because the universe hates you and you got rained on and missed the bus so you had to sit there for an hour in the cold rain getting soggy and pissy(not that that ever happens to me), this is the place to call. Pancakes make everything better.

24 hour gigantic breakfast burritos is always a good thing. This place beats out most after bar places for the quality and quantity of the food, the only reason they didnt get another star is because they dont have their own bathroom so you have to go next door and go down a creepy rape hallway to find a potty, but the potato casarole makes up for that.

I order this today since I’m stuck in the house with the flu and was craving breakfast good but had no energy to make it myself. I ordered the English Muffin Sandwich with bacon and it was really good but just a tad greasy. The fruit cup was a nice mix of strawberries, pineapple and grapes and a generous portion to boot. I also got chocolate milk which was nice at cutting the grease a bit and super chocolatey. I ordered at 1:10 and was quoted a 45 minute wait time but my food was delivered by 1:30 and was warm. The delivery driver was courteous. I’ll definitely be back.

I would definitely give the food 3.5 stars, but the stupid delivery system irritates me. So i ordered the food at around 1.30AM, for a 9.30 delivery(i have proof on my email). But the food arrived at around 2.15AM. I was already sleeping.(i am very very generous giving this place a 3 star). After telling her that i ordered it for 9.30, the driver did not complaint and just went back. The annoying thing is the food arrived at 9 and i was still sleeping, i set my alarm at 9.15. The food was quite good. i was really hungry and it was warm. i had the french toast with bacon, egg and cheese. It was good enough for a breakfast sandwich. The only complaint is the price is extremely expensive, especially when you count in the delivery fee.

We tried their delivery service today for brunch. The food was tasty, though not the most complex or healthiest around. But I’m glad to see a more creative alternative to pizza and subs for delivery food. The delivery service itself was fast and the driver was friendly. We had our food inside of about 30 minutes. I’d definitely order from this place again.

This place is a fucking joke. The food is disgusting. I’m just baffled that this place has as many stars as it does. You college folk must be too drunk to even know what you’re ordering. — — — - So, it looks like the owner of Eggfast keeps on writing an «owner comment» saying that he hasn’t seen me since I’ve worked for him. I’d like to just say that I never, ever worked for Eggfast. I did however work for his other, at the time, business called Café Corner. He sold it well over a year ago and has since been re-branded to Katalina’s Café Corner. I write my Unilocal reviews honestly. I’ve TRIED Eggfast, didn’t like it, and wrote a review on it. If the place was amazing, I’d say it was amazing.

The small dining room and quickly rotating stoner staff does not take away from the fact it is a solid late night place to eat after you leave the bars. I like the horse shoe, and their potato hash is pretty great too. Avoid the taco things

The idea of late-night breakfast delivery is incredible. I sincerely wish that Eggfast did it better. I’ve only had delivery from there once, so I am giving them a three star review for now, since I haven’t sampled everything. I decided to order the«Migas» breakfast tacos and the hash brown casserole. Both of these items are favorites of mine, so I was looking forward to receiving and consuming them. The delivery came in a reasonable amount of time and I sat down to my meal. I’m slightly amused that their website says, «Our famous hash brown casserole” – it tastes distinctly like a greasy version of a rather famous chain’s hash brown casserole, and isn’t as good. In fact, the grease had soaked through the container that it came in. The Migas weren’t spectacular, either; if you’ve ever cooked eggs, you know what can happen if you add too much stuff to them. They can get loose and watery, and that’s how the Migas were. I had expected a place named after eggs to be egg-cooking experts, but I was disappointed. The tacos were fairly flavorless. I may or may not give Eggfast another try. I think a future trip is unlikely, but when you start craving breakfast food late in the evening, it’s amazing what you will do to get it.

One drunken night, I stumbled upon EGGS… It was 3:30 am and i wanted breakfast food and this place had what I wanted. The glow of the sign caught my attention and I decided to stop in. This place seems like it just opened or just remodeled. It was really nice inside.(I’ll have pictures uploaded soon) Food was great, they have a unique menu… I ordered what was called the«twelfth avenue» It was Eggs, cheese, bacon sandwich on maple French toast. Served with syrup and by the way it was awesome! I also got one of there enormous brownies! Sooo Sooo good So if you want some good after hours eats, I def recommend this place!

So this is another review that was sitting in my unfinished reviews. I think that goes to show me that it is in fact just OK. I am quick to write 4⁄5 star and ½ star reviews but 3 stars are always hard for me. I got the breakfast burrito with chorizo late one night when I was craving breakfast food and didn’t have a single egg in my apt. I was also feeling lazy because it was cold and snowy and I was in my sweats. So naturally I went to their website and gave em a call. One thing that sorta bothered me was they have no prices on their website. I call and find out there is a $ 8 minimum for delivery and the burrito I wanted was only $ 7(kinda annoyed me) but I added an apple juice. They were having issues with their credit card machine so they had to call me back to get my info even though I didn’t give them my phone number(caller ID, I know but still strange). They told me 20 minutes. Took them 45+, though it was snowing and late and the issues with the credit card machine I wasn’t TOO pissed, just annoyed. Even with all the negative things the burrito was tasty and my apple juice was Mott’s(i think) so how can that be bad? I’m sure I’ll order from here again when I’m lazy and craving some breakfast.

Let’s start off by saying that anywhere that delivers for just $ 2, and not just delivers but delivers BREAKFAST and does it 24⁄7 is going to be on my good side. ORDER: 1) veggie egg white flatbread, 2) egg and cheese muffin sandwich, 3)hash brown casserole VERDICT: 1) flatbread was ok… could have been better 2) the egg and cheese muffin was AMAZING! and I don’t know if they put 2 eggs in it since there was no meat but it was greaaaatt. 3) hash brown casserole was ok. not good but deff not bad Delivery was very fast. about 20 minutes. Only thing is that the food was luke warm(Im not far from place either. Just down in Short North) but then again who doesn’t have a microwave. Soooo I will def keep this place in mind for my late night, i’m too lazy or drunk to go anywhere but I HATE Taco Bell and I don’t want White Castle to ruin my life in a few hours, food cravings!

I’d just like to start by saying I think it is absolutely amazing that I can actually get breakfast delivered. The idea of being able to order anything other than pizza at almost any hour of the day excites me and I wish that more would follow suit. It only took about 30 mins to receive my order which was kind of surprising considering they told me it would be 45mins to an hour. I ordered the french toast and a buddy of mine ordered«The Horseshoe» which is a mound of hash brown casserole, biscuits, gravy, and a variety of breakfast meats. My order of french toast didn’t exactly blow me away but I do think it is possible that it did lose some quality in transit. The buddy of mine did rave about«The Horseshoe» and it seemed to be a very fulfilling meal that I will surely try the next time I order. Overall, I would give the food quality a B– but I’m willing to accept that in order to have breakfast delivered to my place whenever I want.

I’ve been waiting for this place to open for months and months. They put their first add in the Summer edition of the Saver, the quarterly publication of all the university area delivery options, but upon calling the number, the caller was given the unfortunate news that opening had been pushed back to fall quarter. Come September, the opening had been pushed back even further. Well, words can barely express how much I longed for a breakfast food delivery option. Compound that with the fact that Eggfast was slated to be 24 hours, and by God, you could not dismay me. I tried again tonight and to my surprise, a human being popped up on the other end. I ordered the blueberry pancakes and a veggie egg white flatbread. The flatbread was only $ 2.99, the pancakes $ 4.99. Total came to just under $ 10 with delivery charge. I was quoted an hour on the delivery, but as I write this, it’s just now been an hour and I’ve already devoured my meal. Delivery was VERY fast. The pancakes were mediocre at best. The menu billed them as 4 pancakes, but what it didn’t mention was that each pancake is about 1⁄3 the size of your average pancake. So my order of 4 amounted to a little over one. They came with two packages of syrup, 3 – 4 butters and a cup of blueberries. The pancakes themselves weren’t that bad, but the blueberries were tough, frozen little things that would be better off in the garbage. If you go for the flapjacks, ignore the fruit, you’ll save a dollar in the process. The flatbread, on the other hand, was delicious. I figured I would order two things since I had never eaten here before. Now I know what to order next time. Green pepper, onion, tomato and cheese were cooked with egg whites and sandwiched between two pieces of flatbread. Cheese was oozing out of the sides and one half of the flatbread had gotten soggy from the melty cheese, but this thing was delicious. To recap: super quick delivery, open 24 hours, cheap but tasty sandwiches, nasty, frozen fruit.
