Way over priced food. So loud you can’t talk to the people you are with. Good place for kids but the food is a notch below Applebee’s.

Pretty small, smallest Dave and busters I’ve been to. Friendly people, clean place… but yeah pretty small. Hilliards was way better.

I took my kid to Dave and Busters as a mid-week treat(He had been asking to go to an arcade). It was disappointing… which was sad. THEGAMES Dave and Busters seems to have two types of games, Shooters and Prize games. If you are like me and don’t want everything your kid does to involve death and dismemberment, you are left with prize games. The prices for these games are out of control. As a matter of fact, I told my kid the next time he wanted to go, we would just go and buy a video game, which would have been a better value and more fun. The prize games now have the option of putting your«tickets» on your card or having them dispensed from the machine. I found that if you put them on the card, you lose a little of the magic and fun these games bring… but even if you get paper tickets, your fun will be crushed when you go to the prize store. They did have some new games and a few classics, but it was crowded and felt like they could manage space better. The PRIZESTORE Messy, picked over, over priced, understaffed, cramped… There isn’t anything worth getting for less than 2000 points and even that stuff is crap. If you want to save your tickets you could get and xbox1… for 130,000 tickets. I have no problem with high priced items, but there needs to be a 1 ticket area… or a five ticket area. After all the games and prizes and spins, my kid walked out tearful because there wan’t anything he wanted at the 400 tickets or less price point. I guess I was mean for not wanting him to have a D&B Shot Glass for 300 Tickets. THESTAFF Probably under paid, probably a summer job. They don’t care, they aren’t there to provide an experience… this isn’t Disney. This is just a job to them and it shows. There isn’t an explanation of what the point system is or how it works out, there was only a «How many do you want?» This might be better if there were servers who walked around to take drink orders but that wasn’t the case here. OVERALL Save the money, or go do something that you couldn’t do in your living room like Laser Tag or Go Carts… I am not a rep for a different location, just saying I have been to both D&B and Magic Mountain and a better time and a better value was has at MM. This place is on the way out and you should not waste precious family time here.

My husband and I went this afternoon on a whim with our one and a half year old daughter. The staff at this location are truly the best. They went out of our way to make us feel welcome. Great management!

Here for a group meeting and would not recommend anyone ever use this for a meeting EVER! Drinks in the room weren’t enough for everyone and they didn’t bring more. Buffet for lunch was poorly executed and food was not good. Many had to stand around and wait for more to food to be brought out. So some got 40 minutes lunch while others had 10 minutes. Ample knowledge of how many they would be feeding. Poorly planned. Never saw the manager. I’m guessing they were hiding in the back. I should have left and went to the Tim hortons across the way. At least I could have gotten and iced cap and a honey crueler, not cafeteria chicken and dry potato wedges. Yuck! Btw, giving them one star was VERYGENEROUS of me.

We just went to the Polaris location for my daughter’s Birthday celebration at the end of April. It is alot of fun for the kids. We try to go on Weds when it is half price game night. We have saved up a TON of tickets, and had a whole bunch for her and her friend to use in the shop. During the week is nice with younger kids. There always seem to be business men there who are playing the games and then give their tickets to the kids, which is just amazing for the kids(and super nice too). We have eaten here once, and I was not at all impressed with the food and how much it cost. Honestly, I would recommend eating somewhere else and then going to play for a few hours. It’s a good time, and even my husband and I like playing the ticket games.

A group of coworkers and I were out celebrating and decided to go to Dave and Busters. We tried to make reservations, but we didn’t have enough in our party. When we arrived we waited at the host stand for 20 minutes since there was a line ahead of us. Once we checked in we were told it would be up to 40 mins before we could be sat. We decided to try to get a table in the bar while we waited on a table in the dining room. Having 9 of us in our party we got two tables in the bar and waited to order drinks. It took 15 minutes for a server to even come over to get our drink order. Once she got our drink order she had switched mine and another persons drink in my party so I told her when she came back that our drinks got switched. Her response was that she didn’t switch them and I had the correct drink. I should’ve known right then how the rest of the night would go. I got up from the table and took the drink up to the bar and asked one of the bartenders if they could make the correct drink. It took the full 40 minutes to get a table so once we got sat we had a new waitress and she was just as bad of a server as the one we had in the bar. We had ordered appetizers and another person in my party ordered an appetizer as her dinner and asked for it to come out before our meals since she had to leave early. Once our appetizers came and the other person in my party’s didn’t come out she asked our server why it didn’t come out and our server said you’ll get it when you get it. The appetizers weren’t great and our food was even worse that we ordered. I didn’t expect the best food from Dave and busters, but when your burger is so bad you can’t eat even half of it and two others in my party got a pasta dish and said it was the worst food ever. When you let your server know your unhappy with your food she tells you the kitchen is backed up so you would be wasting your time having it remade. Would come back for the games and defiantly not for the service.

The machines were all busted and nobody cared to fix them or help out. Waste of time and money. The other Dave and Busters in Hilliard is much better.

Just arrived home after one of the most enjoyable nights in memory! Good food, music and games in every direction. The highlight of our visit tonight was an employee named Jacob. He went above and beyond to ensure that every guest was having fun and enjoying themselves. He recruited our daughters to gather younger kids into a small group. Jacob then Shot a cannon of tickets into the crowd and it was on! He is an asset to the Polaris location.

I met my future wife at this place. I absolutely love the staff there and there is never a lack of things to do. It is super small, but has plenty of things to get into in the area.

This is pretty much like any other Dave & Buster’s. The food is ok. I find the menu to be way too big and overwhelming so I usually stick to the few things I’ve gotten before. I’ve had good service both times I’ve been. The waitress have been super nice and helpful. The food has been great as well. The games are honestly stupid and not that fun, but something different to do especially in the winter when it’s cold. My two year old likes all the flashing lights, pretending to drive on the video games, and the prizes so we have fun trying to win her stuff. This location is really small compared to other Dave & Buster’s so it can get really crowded the later you are there. I felt very cramped the last time we were there so it wasn’t a pleasant time playing games.

Don’t eat here! Games are good but cramped space. Food and waitress service is very sub par. They struggle cooking basic items and providing silverware and drinks. I wouldn’t recommend it.

My family and I visited this place yesterday. We’ve been to Dave and Busters many times, and I always feel like I’m spending more and more money each time I go. Their prices for a card/points are becoming outrageous. I also think they are raising the prices on their games too. My favorite game is the carnival game where you have to hit the little clown things with balls you throw at them. They also added a new Kung Fu Panda game, which is much like Punch Mania. The only problem with this game is during the bonus game(where you can win up to 1000 tickets if you are able to correctly get all 33 of the dumplings) is that the game doesn’t always give you 33 dumplings, thus you lose the ability to potentially win 1000 tickets. Their food is alright. I would prefer to eat at a different location and then come here for game play as opposed to actually eating here.

The flashing light capital of the world… Seriously if you have epilepsy don’t come here. Some good games but a LOT of games that are just there the gamble on(in form of tickets instead of money) Food is good not great.

Dave and busters is a great place to go with friends and family! Kids love it and the games will keep them busy while you enjoy yourself at the bar. But if you’re lucky enough not to have kids, this is also a great place for date night. Many multiplayer games for you to beat your lover in.

I grew up in the late 70s through the early 80s when video arcades were a big thing. My memories are filled with the electronic cacophony of the video games as they vied for the attention of anyone with a pocketful of quarters. Those days have long since passed, and video arcades only exist as one offs or trendy bars that cater to nostalgic people like me. Dave and Busters is the modern iteration of an arcade that happens to cram a restaurant and bar in the same building. I’ve never really had a bad experience at a D&B, but I never had an exceptional one. Well, except for the time one of the ticket spitting games was on the fritz and was spewing out tickets like a drunk person vomits. If I kept at it, I probably could have traded in all those tickets for the heavily over ticketed priced Xbox One at the prize center(do a search on a guy who spends an absurd amount of money on ticket games to win a video game system). I’ll split this review into the separate entities that make up D&B: Dining, Gaming, and Bar. First off, the Bar. Can’t really say much since I don’t drink, but it looks well stocked. Basically, it looks like any generic sports bar out there. Wooden bar, flat screen televisions playing various sports events, wooden bartenders, etc. Really, bars fall into three categories with me, a dive, generic, and trendy. Welcome to generic bar retailing. Second, gaming. So this is kinda weird only because I yearn for the days of my youth when an avid gamer had pocketfuls of quarters burning massive holes in his/her pants. Nowadays, like in Dave and Busters, you buy a card with credits. Every machine in the joint has a card reader so you just swipe and go. This just sucks all the fun out of life. But I’m middle aged and on the border of cantankerous old person, so let me have my moment. The video games are the latest, and the ticket games are a mix of updated carnival games and games you can get on your smart phone. I think the credit/quarter cost is a little high on these things because I can burn through a $ 20 card in less than an hour. Lastly, the dining. Typical American bar and grill fare. Not astounding, but better than most chain restaurants. Tough thing about the dining is the nights when it is super busy in there. The tables don’t turn over as quickly as a dining only establishment because the kids that are supposed to be eating their dang food are trying to win tickets for 20 cent stuffed animals. Expect to wait, and wait, and wait some more on a busy weekend. Wait staff is super friendly and I would give them five stars alone. My rating is an average of sorts. Four stars on the bar, three stars on the gaming, three stars on the food, five stars on the wait staff, and two stars because the amount of seating is not proportional to the amount of rug rats not eating their food.

I usually love this place and enjoying coming here with the kids. I, along with ten other people, were eating at the hostess station to get someone to seat us(not people I knew 5 other couples) the manager kept looking at us until I finally waved him over. I ended up sitting at the bar tables. The bartender was slammed, but the manager walked by me six times without acknowledging my existence. I went to the game area and for my card refilled myself. I was passed by two different servers at least seven times. I called to one and the completely ignored me. The bartender then came out and gave menus to the table behind me. I grabbed him as he walked passed and told him that we had an order. I also mentioned that I was sitting at the table for 21 minutes but I said that I realized that he was slammed by that everyone else was ignoring us and he apologized. He then made our drinks and gave them to a server to give to me. I said thank you when she put the drinks down and she did not say a word to me. What a horrible experience!!! Gabe, the manager, needs to learn how to manage. Marcus, the bartender, appears to be in charge of everything.

I took my 13 year old son here for some birthday fun and we had a blast! We arrived around 5pm and requested a table for 11. They said it would be 45 min to an hour before they could seat us. No problem… we will go get our game on until you holler our names over the loud speaker that our table is ready(the vibrating pagers don’t work at this location). My husband, three kids & even the grandparents head to the games. We had so much fun playing Pac Man against each other(up to 4 players at 1 time), Mario Kart, the light thing where you gotta punch all the lights before time is up(that one is my FAV!), Frogger, and soooo many more. I swear I could have stayed here for 10 hours and would have never been bored. Anywho, they finally call us to go sit down and eat and this is when the issues begin. I know I have 11 people in my party so it’s going to take longer. I expected that, that is why we ordered appetizers. Even after the appetizers came out(got the chicken quesadilla – it was ok, nothing great), it still seemed like another 45 minutes until the main course was out(almost all of us got fried food or a salad and they weren’t busy so I’m not too sure why it took so long). When they finally bring the food, what happens??? Oh yeah, they DROPTHETRAYHOLDINGHALFOFOURPARTY’S FOOD… BOOOOOOOO!!! It had already been 45 minutes, AND I had really worked up an appetite kicking everyone’s butts in all those games. I was freaking HUNGRY! Anyway, our server comes to the table and apologizes(even though he wasn’t the one that dropped the tray) and tells us he is going to let the kitchen staff know what happened and tell them to remake our food ASAP. After our food finally came out fro the second time(about 25 minutes later), it was pretty good. I got the chicken apple pecan salad and it was really good, my kids devoured their chicken and french fries. My husband got the ribs and wings. He said the wings were REALLY good but the ribs kinda sucked. He said they were cooked really well and fell off the bone but the flavor was off. ***I do want to say, that even though the dining experience suffered due to the dropping of the food our server(a black gentleman by the name of Jason) was WONDERFUL! He kept our drinks refilled(without us even having to ask) and kept us updated on the progress of our food being remade. He is one of the BEST waiters I have ever had. He should be waiting tables at a 5 star establishment!

This Dave & Busters is mediocre compared to the other Dave & Busters out there. If you’re planning to take your kids out for some fun, maybe chuck e cheese’s would be a better option. This is a very small Dave & Busters and there are a limited number of games. I definitely have experienced better in terms of games here. The space at this Dave & Busters is pretty small as well. So if there are a bunch of kids running around, you will definitely bump into one. The gaming area AND the dining areas are all relatively small. In relation to the service, the workers here work very very slow. It will take some time before they finish with one customer and move onto the next one. Also, there is no one working the front as a host or hostess. You would walk-in and if there isn’t anyone there and you’re trying to grab a table and eat, you won’t know where to start because the host/hostesses podium is empty! I would say they need a better manager and a training manager because these workers do not deliver GREAT customer service. Other than that, my experience was just average. I would check out the other Dave & Busters in Ohio if you have time. I only had time to check this one out.

While the food is nothing I’d rave about it’s not bad. The dinning room, however, is a little small for the number of people attempting to be seated so you too may have to plan on a wait. Without meaning to sound anti-children, this location seems to be turning into the new Chucky Cheese. While we still had a good time and friendly competition, it’s a bit too pricey, loud and crowded to add to my regular date night list.
