CW on WWHO-TV

I think of Rory and Lorelai Gilmore as real people, not fictional characters. Thank heavens the CW for aired the show. Applause! Applause!
Some of the CWs other shows are cheesy but embarrassingly addicting like Beauty and the Geek and America’s Next Top Model. You know you’ve wasted entire days watching model marathons!
I really like the CW though. They are committed to the green movement, which is a great example since they’re driving the media in Columbus. They give young talent an opportunity to gain experience by offering one position as the CW star each year. They’re at almost every good-​cause event in the city. They offer perks to viewers through a slurry of contests. And their brand is recognizable — how can you think of anything other than the CW when you see chartreuse?
The CW audience is probably pre-​teen to teen age, but even my mom watches some of their shows.

I have to give credit to the CW as this station seems to be everywhere! They are incredibly involved in the community and always running some great contests, etc. On the advice of a friend, I joined the CW Lounge Rewards program and have already won something! It’s so exciting! Don’t be jealous but I won advanced screening tickets to see The Duchess starring Keira Knightly. ;)
They have some great prizes up for auction like the Jim Tressel signed things, Blue Jackets tickets, Columbus Fashion Week tickets (who knew there was one!!), gift cards, and so on. These aren’t dinky prizes either! I am so excited and wish I would have signed up for this sooner!
Granted, I’m the only one on the planet who doesn’t watch Gossip Girl– — or so it seems– but this station is really cool and makes me want to take a second look.
