Lovely people, great commitment to personalized attention and quality product. I’m addicted to the Thai noodle salad(nice mix of greens, pasta tossed with peanut sauce with shredded carrots/red cabbage/pickled cucumbers/celery, any of which can be left off at your request.) Prices are very reasonable. I have to stay away from the homemade baked goods because that’s a slippery slope — they’re ALLSOGOOD and there’s different ones to choose from pretty much every day. They do a lot of grilled sandwiches, quesadillas, and even a small selection of individual pizzas(either get there early or be prepared to wait a bit — they get busy 11:30am-~1:00pm.)

Café Lola has had several iterations in its tenure at the corner of Broad and High in the One Columbus building. This time, the formula seems to be working. It is the usual structure of a lunchtime café downtown — soups, sandwiches, wraps, salads. They do offer quesadillas and pizzas, as well as a selection of sweets(some gluten free). Prices are also typical for downtown — $ 8 to $ 10 for a solid lunch. When the weather is bad(or because I can only go to Café Brioso so many times in a day/week without seeming like a creeper), I head to Lola’s for their spicy chicken quesadilla. Grilled chicken, hot sauce, and plenty of cheese all grilled up, with house-made salsa and sour cream — time for a post-lunch nap. It does get busy, but there is a dining room, and there are plenty of windows for people watching.

Great little place to pick up some lunch. I tried their breakfast for the first time today, and it was very filling and delicious! Favorite thing for lunch is the Asian chicken wrap. I usually take it to go, but there is some seating. Service is great, the people are very friendly.

I eat here 3 – 4 times per week and the food is super fresh and delicious. The place itself is very clean and the staff is one of the friendliest I’ve encountered. Always very helpful and pleasant and Lola is there everyday preparing and serving the food. I absolutely love the Asian Chicken Wrap and the pizzas are excellent. Also try the Chicken and Artichoke Salad… its one of my favorites. I walk by every morning around 7 a.m. before they are open and again around 5 p.m. after they close and have never seen food left out? I would definitely check it out if you haven’t been… its the best place downtown and very reasonably priced to beat. Only downside… very busy, so sometimes the line is long, but it moves very quickly and the food is ready within a couple of minutes of placing your order.

Don’t eat here. We walked by on a sunday night after hours and saw food left out on the counters.
