This is my favorite sushi place in Maryland. Delicious and fresh every time! I am a vegetarian, so I do not eat fish but they have a lot of veggie sushi options, which for me sets them apart from many other sushi restaurants. My standard order is the Cucumber Avocado Cheese roll. So good! Highly recommend!

Service was quick, sushi was good. I ordered the spicy tuna roll and a salmon roll. The spicy tuna was great, good texture and you could taste the spice(I’ve had spicy tuna that didn’t really taste like anything). The salmon roll had a bigger piece of fish and not too much rice, which is how I like it. I’m definitely coming back!

Stopped in as i love sushi and it is lighter than most of the stuff in the mall. It was good, nothing spectacular though. Some of the best mall sushi i have had.

I gave 5 stars because I believe this place has accomplished what it is: quick delicious sushi on a small scale in the mall.

This must be the most friendly kiosk in the whole mall. It is run by a couple, husband and wife team. Although is mall food, it is pretty good. I ordered their combo — 3 rolls for $ 10.50. I like their mango and avocado roll so much that I’m back for the second time in 2 weeks. You won’t find a super art form of sushi with iron chef picture here. But if you are looking for a friendly service and good price value quick bite you will find it here.

The Columbia Mall food court has a ton of eateries, most of which I don’t find very appetizing. However, since I’m kinda of a sushi fan I decided to give Wasabi Sushi a try. This place gets 4 stars in comparison to its competition which is places to eat at the mall. I do enjoy eating here, but I’m not stacking it up against the same 4 stars I’d give a regular sushi place. Let’s be clear. It’s a sushi place in a mall food court, but ya know what… given that context this place is pretty good. Seating is pretty limited, the service is very friendly and the food is pretty good. Given the competition there, it’s actually stellar. Give it a try the next time you’re at the mall and get hit with a hankerin’ for sushi.

WASABISUSHI — COLUMBIATOWNCENTER –Review: 4.5÷10 Food: 4.5 Service: 7 In most suburbia shopping malls you don’t have many choices. Sbarro, Mcdonalds, Chickfilet etc. Although my intuition said NO, I was willing to take a chance rather then go ALL-IN on «bubbbleguts“at Mcdonalds. WASABISUSHI @Columbia Town Center was OK. It wasn’t the BEST or WORST for me. The sushi was fresh and not slimy. It was made fast and the cashier was friendly and curtious. HONESTLY, I didn’t expect them to reinvent the maki roll. I was just hoping to not get food poisoning. They did not disappoint. We ordered the $ 10.50 –3 roll special, 12 pieces total. Spicy Tuna Roll, Salmon Roll, California Roll. The proportion of rice to fish was perfect. Nori was flavorful. We also ordered the KISSOFFIREROLL. It was OK. NOWOWFACTOR? Needed more FIRE less KISS. Subtle taste of raw jalapeño finish. Should have been called«KINDERGARTENKISS!» My only real complaint: Sushi Rice seemed to be missing«Sushi Vinegar.» Which to me makes a huge difference in the complete sushi experience. Hey… 12 hours later and I’m not at St. Agnes Hospital. ALLIS «A-OK» in the land of KIOSKSUSHI. Sorry MCD stockholders. Kemo the Samurai

This is in the food court of the mall, and it’s a great place to get a quick and cheap(in a good way), sushi meal. They have a cute little bar to sit at so you don’t feel as much like you’re in the middle of a mall food court wedged between two escalators. Sometimes sushi places can hide lower quality ingredients in rolls, but I even had the yellowtail jalapeño sashimi appetizer, and it tasted pretty fresh. Also, they have Tamari, gluten free soy sauce, if you have a gluten allergy and need that option.

This is a great find. At first I was a bit skeptical about a sushi«stand» in the middle of a mall’s food court. But the sushi tasted great(ordered three different rolls, seaweed salad). Their sushi is not exceptional, but they’re definitely above average. Also, the prices are very reasonable. I was able to get everything for under $ 20. They also have seating available across from the chef’s area. I’d definitely be back and try their other dishes.

I’m a huge sushi fan. At first I was skeptical of this sushi place given the fact they are located in the Columbia Mall at the food court, but to my surprise the sushi was excellent. I got the Sakura Roll and it definitely exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for an affordable, quick & easy sushi place for lunch or dinner then I suggest trying this place.
