U-Haul Moving & Storage of Spring Valley

This review is for 2 separate visits. First one had a trailer brake installed. Which was wonderful if it didn’t short-​out and break after a week and was like pulling teeth to get a new one put on. Required several visits.
Second, I live in an RV so propane is my main source of heat. I phoned the office to ensure they were open until 9pm on Friday nights which I was assured they were so I could refill my propane. When I arrived at 8:05, I was told they were closed and would not fill my propane. I then phoned the office and asked why I had been told 9, which was when I was informed this location has ALL there phone calls sent to corporate. The district manager ended up having to call there own employees and instruct them to fill my propane, a 5 min job that took 45 min.
Taking my business elsewhere. Zero Customer service skills.

Helped a friend move from Columbia to Charlotte over the weekend and he did one of the 14 ft truck rentals (one way). I was only the manual labor, but it seemed like it was easy enough to pick up the reserved truck. In the store lobby there are all sorts of supplies and needs for moving: boxes, locks and keys (for the truck), packing supplies, blankets, carpet cleaner machines… it’s pretty cut and dry to help with all your moving needs.
