Assholes. I was at a festival at Shelter Insurance on May 122016. There was noise and they were very busy inside the truck. I made an order that was $ 21 and something. The guy was multitasking and talking with another person in the truck. I handed up a $ 20. In my wallet I had 100 dollar bill and several 20s from the ATM. I lamented out loud as I handed up the second $ 20 bill, I guess I’ll have to break a $ 20 feeling apologetic about it. I don’t think he was listening. He grabbed it quickly as I held it waiting but was still talking to the other person. Then he gave me 4 $ 1 bills. I waited thinking he was finding other bills and then realized he was moving on to other things. I told him he only gave me $ 4 and he didn’t seem to comprehend at first. Then he said the total price. I said I know, I gave you two twenties so I have more change coming. He said I didn’t. However he was occupied between the first $ 20 and the second and during the time I gave him the second. Everything was already in his box. I am out of work. I am a great generous person. I can’t even go to a large truck stop and use the bathroom without buying something or topping off gas because I feel guilty even though no one would notice. I’m crazy fair and nice to my own detriment. This asshole ruined my week. He already had the money. All I could do is take it or leave it.

One of my absolute favorite southern foods is Biscuits and Gravy and so when I spotted this booth from the Ozark Mountain Biscuit Company, I literally stopped in my tracks at the Beale Street Music festival! They had so many options but I was really intrigued by a veggie gravy option using crimini mushroom and ended up getting that — cost me $ 8 for a lovely hearty biscuit which I would totally give 5 stars, but was ruined by how very _salty_that mushroom gravy was! I ended up scrapping away most of the gravy from the biscuit and then cautiously dipping it in just a bit. I’d def try them again, but probably wont take the crimini mushroom option. Note: #97 of Unilocal 100 challenge for 2016

Tried the breakfast sandwich at Magnaball, totally hit the spot! And I was very impressed that these guys kept the(huge!) line moving right along. Crispy bacon, big delicious biscuit, very well done!

I am not a big food truck fan, because it can be hard to find meatless options(and hard to find the food truck), but these guys have some darn good food. My husband has been wanting to try these guys out, and one day we finally managed to track the truck down while out and about. I got the Frederick’s burger with the veggie patty, and that came on a biscuit topped with fried onions and cheese. So so good. my husband got chicken fried chicken with a fried egg and gravy. I didn’t eat it but it smelled good. We didn’t eat again for the rest of the day. Didn’t need to.

Here in town visiting. Saw this food truck parked twice in one day, at locations clear across town from each other. Ordered two biscuits($ 3 each), one with blackberry jam and one strawberry.(There was one more jam flavor and also Apple butter.). I also ordered a hot pecan pie. $ 4. Think McD’s Apple pies but homemade and delicious. It was well worth it to enjoy delicious food and such a unique experience that I cannot find at home. A gem in Columbia!

I broke 11 years of vegetarianism for one of their fried chicken biscuits at Bonnaroo, and it was so so worth it!!! And then I went back for another one the next day. I guess I have to move to Missouri now. Eat here!

I was so excited to see that there is a food truck that’s entirely devoted to biscuits and gravy— BISCUITSANDGRAVY!!! **insert multiple emojis with hearts as eyes here** And now I’m even more excited that the guys who run this truck make legit biscuits and gravy! Perfect flaky buttery fluffy biscuits swimming in a pool of creamy sawmill gravy *drool* I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken which is a buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with a soft egg, greens, and sawmill gravy. Oh my my, it’s like a traditional southern meal all in one delicious sandwich. I liked that the fried chicken was perfectly battered and crispy and that they add collard greens(or is it kale?) in there too! Definitely going to keep an eye on this truck. I’m looking forward to trying the rest of the menu!

Biscuits like grandma use to make. Wish we had one of these where I live in Pullman Wa. Blackberry jam is awesome.

This is one of the best food trucks I’ve been to. Now, food trucks seem to run on themes and this food truck’s theme is biscuits. I ordered some crazy concoction that had pulled pork, an egg, collard greens and some special sauce sandwiched in between a couple of biscuits. Not only was it as big as my head, but I had to pace myself while eating it. They have plenty of options with both breakfast and dinner-type options depending what kind of mood you’re in. Also, the fried pies for dessert were a nice touch. We found the food truck parked in downtown after a concert, but from what I hear they post their hours and locations online. If you’re out and about, you might see where the truck is and plan accordingly. You won’t regret it.
