Next Day Blinds

Next day blinds in Columbia was exactly what we needed and Valerie was amazing! We moved into a new house and she worked so patiently to help us get each window treatment just right! We had a super difficult bow window and she helped us through all its challenges! After a full year of struggling with making a final decision she was so patient and held our hand through the whole process. I would definitely recommend working with Valerie at the Columbia store she was fantastic!

Just bought two sets of blinds for our home (with many more to come). The salespeople (and I hate to call them that, as they do sell but there is no hard sell at all) were extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. I initially brought in my window dimensions and they gave me a written quote. I then called back a few weeks later to order them. The price hadn’t changed, and they said that when you get a quote from them unless the price itself changes (e.g. new year price changes) your quote is good for a long time.
The blinds were very easy to install (did them myself), and I did get 1 – 2 good helpful tips from them on how to install the clips that hold the blinds onto the window trim, which helped a lot.
Next Day Blinds is definitely not the cheapest place around, however from all I can tell you *definitely* get what you pay for. You’re paying a bit up for very high quality, very fast turnaround («next day»), custom-​made to your order, and a lifetime warranty no matter what goes wrong. The last is what sold us; I’ve had experiences with strings on blinds rotting and breaking after 10 – 20 years, making them useless. If this happens with these, I simply unclip them, bring them back in and get replacements. And NDB has been around for a very long time so I have to think they will be around for a very long time to come.

We had an excellent experience with Next Day Blinds. Don was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the products and had great patience with us. Although when we first went shopping for blinds we underestimated the cost, we are thrilled with the result and glad we purchased them. The blinds make our rooms look so much better. When there was a slight miscommunication with delivery, Don fixed the situation far better than what we had hoped for.

This company refuses to help you if you want to move your blinds to a new home. It’s against their company policy because they want you to buy their overpriced new blinds. They will «allow» you to move the blinds to a new window within your current home (for a fee of $ 75 + $ 25 per blind.) I confirmed this terrible policy with both the store and their online customer service because it was unbelievable. Further, they claim they cannot resize even roller shades to force you to buy new blinds. Caveat emptor, wish I knew of this before I bought anything from them.

I went in expecting pushy sales people and a subpar selection, and I couldn’t have been more wrong. I wasn’t jumped on at the door, had time to browse, and even though there was a small wait, Valerie, my new blind and window goddess, apologized for the wait. I am picky, and she took the time to guide me through several different options, always thinking about what was best for my needs, and not necessarily the most expensive. Even when I picked a more expensive option, Valerie showed me something similar, that I ended up liking more, that cost less! I haven’t made any final decisions yet, but I know with the guidance of Valerie at Next Day Blinds my home will be gorgeous and I’ll be within budget!
