Great small venue. Folk bands from around the country show up from time to time. I am excited to meet horse feathers this spring. Meeting great bands is the best part about small venues.

By far one of my favorite bars in Columbia! Best patio hands down and the best music for usually $ 10 or less. They have friendly attentive staff, local and craft brews, and food trucks! Some shows outside during the summer and great sound at nearly every show I have been to. It’s more of a locals joint than the college themed bars on Broadway. Check them out on Facebook!

Mojo’s is the more of a locals spot than the run of the mill bars on broadway and off campus. The Best patio in town for sure and a great spot to see a good band and have some drinks at a reasonable price. Shows usually less than $ 10 a lot of nights free. They list events on facebook.

Mojo’s is a fantastic small bar. I’ve been to many a small venue to see many a small band, and Mojo’s has the checklist checked off on the things that you want when you’ve a hankering to see a show and sip on a beer with your friends. If dive bars are your thing, Mojo’s has it. If you like craft brews, Mojo’s has them. If you like pizza, Pizza Tree right inside Mojo’s has pizza for you to eat. If you are a fan of outside patio sittin’, you are in luck. In general, if you’re a fan of a good time, Mojo’s is your place.

I love this bar! I saw Polica here and I truly enjoyed myself! The venue reminds me of those student-led concerts I used to regular at when I lived here and I always enjoyed the company as well as the talent. Rock on, Mojo’s!

Mojo’s is awesome. I’d take it over a bigger venue any day. It’s definitely a dive-type place showcasing smaller acts, but the crowd is always great and you can get so close to the bands. They have a deck outside if you smoke and a pretty full bar(plus free water in a cooler, so class), and I’ve never paid more than, say, $ 14 for a show there. The atmosphere is what I would call perfect. Don’t bother buying your ticket ahead of time, just park on the street and bring some cash. Even though they play«smaller» bands I have still seen Ben Kweller, Cursive, Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, Love as Laughter, Rogue Wave, etc. etc. and they’ve all been amazing shows.

You can sometimes catch a great show here — this is owned by the same guy that owns the Blue Note, only it’s smaller and has more of a hole-in-the-wall vibe. When it’s on it’s on here, no better place to see a band you really like. There’s also a massive patio out front for you to smoke on and lots of seating outside. Don’t pass up seeing your favorite bands here !

Smaller venue, but a great place to listen to some indie rock. They have a full bar and some food items. Expect it to be fairly hot inside, but you can’t beat how close you can get to the stage. The only thing limiting how close you get it how much hearing you want to lose.

A good, little dingy bar to see little-known to world-famous bands. This is one of those places you can expect an intimate setting with the artist you came to see. This place is pretty small. The drinks and their prices are standard for Columbia.

I love this place. I have seen national touring acts here as well as local bands, open-mic types, and even some terrible stand-up comedy. Drinks are cheap, cover is almost always reasonable, and there are plenty of good spots to stand/sit for good sound. My favorite part: the gigantic outdoor deck!!! Love it.
