adding one star to my previous rating, as my gel manicure has lasted almost 3 weeks so far. while there has been growth, there’s no tip wear and no peeling as i usually get 2 weeks out.

Jitima is so good! The best hairdresser! I wouldn’t trust anyone else but her to cut my hair :) Great salon and great ladies working there!

I have been going to this nail salon for a while now and love it every time. I always get a gel manicure and occasionally a pedicure as well. The massage chairs are great for the pedis, and I’ve never had a bad manicure from the different ladies. If I want a design, I just let them know in advance since there are a few with more experience at freehand designs.
All of the ladies are very nice, too, and they know me by name now and that my favorite part is always the hand massage at the end :) I highly recommend to anyone in the area who would like to have a regular place to go!

Jatima! I’ve been to stylists in NYC that charge a couple hundred bucks for a cut. They do a great job. But Jatima puts them all to shame. Best cut and color and highlights I’ve ever had. She is amazing.
The nail gals are also incredible. They pamper you. And they take meticulous care to make sure your nails are exactly as you’d imagined.
Everyone is so nice and welcoming and warm. Do yourself a favor — just go!

I was hoping for a great experience after reading the reviews. When I walked in I wasn’t sure that I was I. The right place. I was a bit more run down than expected. The manicure looks great. So if you are looking for a nice manicure without all of the extras this is the place.

Vi did an awesome job! Very meticulous and thorough :) I had so many bad experiences before at different surrounding salons that I was excited to finally have someone that knew what they were doing :) can’t wait to Come back!

Love this place. It was my second time going. The first was for my friend’s wedding and I liked them so much I decided to just continue going to them whenever I get my nails done which isn’t often. I always get gel polish because I feel like it’s worth it since it won’t scratch as soon as you leave the salon. I’ve had two different people each time and they make small talk with you which makes it less awkward since you’re going to be sitting with them for a while. Overall, just love the place and the price is reasonable and never had any problems with my nail polish.

I just moved to the area and have been really eager to find a great nail salon. I’ve definitely found my place! Vivian did an amazing job; she took her time and was such a delight to chat with. I only got a gel manicure, but can’t wait to try a pedicure next time. The icing on the cake is that pricing is really reasonable! 5 stars for sure :-)

We made an appointment with this salon for my sister’s wedding, and 3 of us in the bridal party for a mani-​pedi. Even though we were late for the appointment, they were very friendly, accommodating, and did a great job on our nails! We all left happy.

I do love this place mostly because the ladies are super duper nice. I have been to manyyyyyyy salons due to ky mani and pedi obsession… plus I am very anal when it comes to my nails. I live near DC now but I come here every 2 weeks while visiting my mom and Lifetime fitness. Jenny is so nice and sweet. She pays attention to details and whenever I ask her to fix something that bothers me, she does it without any negative gestures or words. Let’s be for real. I have been to many nail salons, as I stated, and I will tell you a large percentage of them aren’t the nicest people. Or at least, lack in customer service. Not here. They are just so nice. So I come here and this is my new spot. And Jenny does a phenomenal job with pedicure. I don’t always love my nails 100%, may be 90% at times (LOL) I still come because why??? Yes you guessed it. They are so nice and customer focused! Oh plus. They always have a food network channel on and I love to watch, cook, and eat. LOL.

This place was amazing.
I have been trying to find a place that would take the time do what it takes to give me a professional manicure (gel) and Jennifer did just that! The place is clean and has many pedicure chairs that look to be almost new. In other words, not worn out or broken. The other staff were friendly as well.
So if you are looking for a place that gives you your monies worth then you should give Glamour Salon a try!
I know that I am. In fact, I am going back in two week for a mani/​pedi and made an appointment for my daughter too.

Kay was fantastic! I had a regular manicure and pedicure which she did with precision and patience. Her foot and leg massage was amazing and lengthy! $ 36 for both services is super fair pricing. The salon itself isn’t chic or trendy, but I’m okay with that. The owner was also very personable! The manicure was okay. Will try a gel manicure next time.

Came back after trying other nail salons closer to home after moving to Laurel. Vivian did a great job with taking off my horrible acrylics from another salon. Got a gel manicure on my natural nails and it looks great.

Great salon! Very clean and friendly efficient staff. Have tried many salons in the Columbia area and this is the best!

I almost never get my nails done but today I decided to go to Glamour Salon to treat myself to a spa pedicure and a gel manicure. Vi did my nails and they look fabulous! She was very professional and nice and made casual conversation. I will definitely be going back!

This place is awesome. I have been going there since 2010 and I love everyone there. It doesn’t matter who does your nails all of them are outstanding and professional.
Everyone asked me where do I get my nails done-​and I tell them Glamour salon in Kings Contrivance.
It is located five minutes from my house.

I love this place, everyone is so nice and all the women that work there are very sweet! Everything is always nice and clean and up to date. I go to Glamour Salon for my hair, waxing and nails and it has to be the best place I have ever gone. Jitima is amazing with hair, she always cuts or colors my hair exactly how I want it. Just today I had a gel manicure done by Vivian and it looks phenomenal! I would recommend Glamour Salon to anyone!

I love the fact they are open an extra hour past most nail salons, 8.00pm!
They exceed my regular nail salon in some areas, Vivian asked me how I was and genuinely attempted to make conversation. I loved the fact that I saw the cuticle tools come out of a sealed package, the hand massage, and wet towels are all nice touches.
Now, I came in with acrylic nails with gel on top I wanted taken off and just a regular manicure after. They had me soak my nails in a bowl of acetone for probably over 30 minutes and still they only sort of cake off, at other salons they usually cut the nail, lift off the edges and relatively painlessly pry the nail off. Now in theory soaking them off may sound better, but after thirty plus minutes sitting in acetone while your skin dries you’re ready to rip them off yourself. I don’t think she totally got the acrylic off, just shaved it down to a thin enough layer, which maybe is a good thing if my nails are weak, but still I can feel it and it’s driving me crazy.
Vivian did a nice job with the actual manicure, but she did push gel polish as all salons do because it doesn’t chip or take four hours to dry.
Overall nice experience for a regular manicure, I don’t think I’ll be seeing them for anything acrylic related however.

Vivian helped me with my full set gel and she was amazing! From the conversations we had and the service she provided. I deff now know who to go to when I need my nails done. Nonetheless, Kim was also amazing. She helped my best friend and we were both VERY satisfied.
We went on a Saturday afternoon with an appt — had a steady flow of customers but we did not feel rushed nor did they bs our nails.
Loved the experience! Thank you ladies :)

I will definitely be returning to this salon – the prices are affordable, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and I loved the mani/​pedi that I got here. If you’re in the area, stop by – it’s worth a trip.
