Romett J Lewis

I have been taking my three children to see Dr. Lewis Romett for ear, nose and throat issues for 11 years and have found him to be consistently pleasant and helpful. He is an experienced surgeon (inserted tubes in my son’s ears) and has successfully tackled all of our ear infections and hearing questions! His bedside manner is perfect — very understanding, patient, non-​alarming (calm) and he is present and focused. Early on my experience with his office involved pretty long sitting spells in the waiting room but Dr. Romett has since relocated his office and that long wait seems to have been resolved. I got right in to see him the last time I went. The only thing I might suggest is that if your child has recurring ear infections, ask for an x-​ray so that you can make sure the ear infection has been completely resolved. Interestingly, I have never had an otolaryngology specialist offer that. It wasn’t until we went to an allergy specialist that this was recommended. It turned out to be quite helpful and we avoided having to return to the doctor for a «new» infection when it was really the last one that remained unresolved and stubbornly resurfaced.
