C&C Sand and Stone Co.

I have worked with C&C Sand on a number of projects and have ordered materials that vary from their standard stock to special order material. They have always been wonderful to work with. Their selection of landscape rock and stone is unbelievable. Very friendly and customer oriented people.

I came to C&C sand and stone for my landscaping needs based off of a reputation that I am afraid they fell extremely short of! I went in to purchase a set number of retaining wall block and gravel. The Associate at the time encouraged me to get extra in the just in case situation would arise. Of course we then had a discussion about what if I had extra would I be charge a pick up fee. She said that there would be no way that I would be charged that since I was paying the delivery fee at the beginning. So taking her at her word that is how things were to happen. Block delivered in May landscaping completed by my family and I and then came the time for pick up.
What I should actually say then came the struggle to find one ounce of customer service. This company was absolutely wonderful when you are lining their pockets. Try to return something and watch the nightmare unfold. The sales lady that helped me of course had been fired and Noone was willing to help me until I finally came UNGLUED SIX MONTHS past the original scheduled pick up date. At which time the sales associates at the desk said that it was company policy that I was to pay for pick up and delivery separately. Even though when I had previously agreed to that the was no actual pick up.
Finally, after six months of struggle the manager decided to get involved and ensured me that he was certain that this issue had already been resolved, and thus the reason he had not stepped in sooner.
Unfortunately, I can not recommend that anyone use this company. Though you might pay higher prices somewhere else you are bound to get much better treatment and customer service there as well.
