About time a decent Soul Food restaurant opened up in the Springs. The Woman and I drove pass this place a few weeks ago and I thought I’d try it out today. I was a bit misled by the sign that screamed «Chitterlings, Pig Feet, Ox Tails» expecting the chance to dine on these southern delicacies today… NOT! Those dishes are reserved for Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday. They also have an AYCE cat fish deal on every 3rd Friday from 11am to 3pm. Wow! I’ll be hitting that up!
Anyways, ordered the Sunday Brunch Chicken and Waffles for $ 7. Got three pieces of fried chicken wings over a large waffle. It was good.
This place would get 5 stars if they had fountain drinks. I ordered a can of soda for $ 2 and received no cup o ice.
