Great service. Lunch was very Appealing. I had the tilapia tacos. She had shrimp and scampi. Left very satisfied. Will delicately go again.

Went there for endless shrimp with my family. Waitress didn’t give us biscuits. we had to ask for them. Then we literally waited 20 mins for each serving of shrimp. The service was horrible. Wouldn’t go back there anytime soon.

Rejected coupon, INSECT in food. When my wife and I arrived this afternoon at the Red Lobster on Wolf Road, we presented our waitress with a coupon we had printed online this morning for a ‘free dessert or appetizer with the purchase of any two adult entrees’. She assured us that it was valid and we ordered an appetizer to share. However, only after we had ordered and FINISHED our appetizer were we then told«Actually, the Manager would not be honoring your coupon because it does not say Red Lobster on it», and that we would be charged full price for the appetizer. This is ridiculous. If you tell your customers that they won’t be charged for something, then you shouldn’t charge them for it, PERIOD — despite any discrepancies between your website and store location. But not wanting to make a scene and let it ruin our day, we went along. Then shortly after our food arrived, my wife found a big bug right in the middle of her shrimp linguini alfredo. When we were offered a replacement meal we hesitantly thought«How ironic, it looks like we would be getting a free item after all, just in the worst way possible.» Wrong. We were still charged full price for the bug-free dish. In other any other decently run restaurant, we would have expected the manager to apologize in person for the dish, offer us a free replacement, and certainly not decide to reverse their coupon policy mid-meal for the appetizer. I just wonder what failure would have occurred if we decided to order dessert as well. While the waitress herself was friendly and professional, the poor and unprofessional way this Red Lobster was run was very disappointing. Update: I spoke with Red Lobster customer service online, they addressed the issue politely and offered to refund our meal with a gift card. Thanks!

It’s a chain, you know what you get. However, what I couldn’t get past at today’s visit was the smell. Truly, the place needs a good cleaning. The smell was so over powering, but didn’t want to disappoint my youngster who thinks the seafood here is good. He’s a child he doesn’t know any better, he sees those commercials and thinks the food will look as good as it does on tv. The staff was friendly. The food came at a decent pace. 12:30 and nobody in the place except us a and a few seniors. It was dead.

I was very disappointed, I took my son there for a special mom/son dinner. I usually have good service and food. This time the service was medioc best. The waitress was nice enough, but the appetizer(mozzerella sticks) came out and most were barely hot and the cheese wasn’t melted, then almost 15 – 20 minutes later we got our soup, followed immediately by our entrees, then our salad. Was extremely upset with the timing, and ended up losing my appetite and just wanted to leave. One of the managers tried to make it right by having them do my entrée again so I had time to eat my salad and soup, but the appetizer wasn’t taken off my bill as promised by the waitress, for the prices I feel like it was a complete waste of time and money. I probably won’t go back anytime soon, if ever.

This was my first, and last, time setting foot in a Red Lobster. Basically the Applebees of seafood restaurants this place is truly repulsive. There was no justification for the absurd wait time. The restaurants policy of no reservations made for the fun decision of stand in the freezing cold B.O. smelling entrance or stand in the even colder outside amid the stale cigarette smoke as not a single person abided by the 25 foot rule. When my party was finally seated the table had enough room around it to sit comfortably. Our drink order was taken and brought in a reasonable amount of time. The drinks and the biscuits were the only two decent things to come out of the kitchen the entire night. Ordering was a long process, getting our food took around an hour. I went with a somewhat large group, but an hour from ordering to the first plate touching the table is too long anywhere. When the food finally came it wasn’t worth the wait, or any wait. The shrimp in the pasta looked like pet store brine. The noodles were surprisingly average and the sauce tasted like it came straight out of a jar. The ceasar salad was nothing but the core of romaine hearts with bottled dressing. The croutons felt like they went stale sometime in the late 90s and the cheese appeared to be decoration made of wax. I ordered my steak rare and it came out like something resembling the heel of an old boot. The green beans were ill prepared; cold and still had the ends on them. The clientele at this particular restaurant made the terrible food seem tolerable. The lowest class, loudest, and most obnoxious people as a collective whole. The yelling, complaining, gallons of cologne, and worlds worst parenting coming from the surrounding tables didn’t stop in the STAGGERINGFOURHOURS it took for us have our dinner. Never again. To this location or any others.

Food is good but the wait sucks on the weekend of course. They tell you a half hour, which turns into an hour

Stopped for dinner while in town and too cold below zero to drive too far. The Ultimate Feast was great as always, and the cheddar biscuits are perfect to sop up the scampi.

Only reason Im not rating a 5 is because we didn’t get a full dinner. Our waitress was great. Robin was here name and she really took care of us. She knew we wanted the biscuits and she kept them coming. Our appetizers both shrimp dishes came out fast hot and delicious. Also got an alcohol drink that tasted good and came out looking exactly like it did on the menu. Very happy with the experience. Our waitress Robin and the biscuits were amazing

The Customer Service at this location is exceptional and so is the Menu!!! I am an Active Duty Military Member, who is currently station in San Diego, CA. Today is my mother’s birthday and I wanted to order her dinner. Concern about my method of payments without me been in Colonie, NY I contacted the Red Lobster located on Wolf Road. I expressed my concerns to Brittney Bell who is a Hostess at that location. She was polite, well knowledgeable, and just a over all a doll. I wanted to be certain that all the information I recieved was accurate and that my mother’s birthday dinner«mission» will be accomplished; therefore, I ask to verify the information with a manager. Brittney, was not annoyed by my request to verify the information and her manger Crystal Franchise is too a fantastic person. She answered all of my questions and assured me that everything will be done to my satisfaction. My sincere gratitude.

Of course the biscuits are amazing. The food here is really good, waitresses are friendly. The seats don’t stay still however, causing you to sit down and feel like you’re breaking through the seat. Water refills didn’t come as frequently as I’d hoped, but overall very good meal.

Two hours to eat. 7 to 9. We were in a rush. We sat with an empty table a couple times during our stay, not even rolls. Waits between soup, salad, entrée and desert were long and boring. Waitresses apologetic, lack of efficient kitchen is not acceptable. Where is the management??? They should be around explaining and helping out. We did not see a manager to express our displeasure. Help needed at Red Lobster!!!

Not sure why you would really ever go to red lobster. They have a nice looking Menu, but the second they bring the food out you start to question why you came. The food looks nothing like the pictures, it tastes horrible, and is overpriced. Definitely never waste your money on crab, lobster, or scallops here. I would expect so much more from a $ 30/plate restaurant in Albany. Staff was friendly, and surprisingly dessert was okay.

I’ve always found Red Lobster barely passable, but on my last visit they couldn’t even live up to that low standard. A few months ago I was intrigued(conned?) by a commercial announcing various specials. They were offering several different dishes for one price. In the ad, their lobster and scallop pie looked incredible. We were greeted by a waitress who was annoyingly perky, and got our cheesy rolls while waiting for the rest of the food to arrive. They were the best part of the meal. My wife ordered a combo platter of coconut shrimp and garlic shrimp. I ordered the lobster pie and shrimp linguini. Her garlic shrimp were terrible. They were *way* over-seasoned. It was like biting into a raw garlic clove. The coconut shrimp were overcooked, but editable. She sent back the garlic shrimp and replaced them with more overcooked coconut shrimp. The lobster and scallop pie, which looked so amazing on the commercial, was pathetic. There were some tiny pieces of lobster in there, if you went hunting for them. The scallops were the size and texture of pencil erasers, but not as flavorful. It was held together in a gloppy sauce of Campbell’s Cream of Something-Or-Other soup and covered with a Bisquick crust. The Shrimp Linguini was made with the smallest shrimp I’ve even seen used in a restaurant. Teeny tiny shrimp, and not a lot of them. One of our combos included a cheesecake dessert. At the end of the meal, the Perky Waitress asked if we wanted it to go, and we said yes — we wanted time to recover from the lumps in our stomachs. Later that evening, at home, we opened the container, ready to split our cheesecake, and just laughed and laughed. It was a short, tiny wedge. We could have almost completely covered it with a 50-cent piece. Using great care, we managed to cut in half, giving each of us one forkful of cake. It wasn’t very good.

Got here around 4 pm. It is located Right next to olive garden, so there wasn’t many parking spaces. Waited less than 5 min for a table, sever was accommodating when we asked to move to one of the bigger boths. Ordered Lobster Bisque and it was very good had quite a bit of lobster pieces in it. Big berry daiquiri was huge and it tasted great, could have used some whipped cream though. I love the cheesy biscuits definitely goes without saying but they are awesome. So far… very good experience.

I went here this past summer, and it was a relaxed experience. Although people were lined up outside of the building, we managed to get in without much of a wait. They had some great specials that made eating the food more affordable. The Cheddar Bay Biscuits were delicious. I just had club soda and water, but I had a hard time getting my water replenished. The fish was not memorable, and, as a matter of fact, I don’t. The Caesar salad was okay. The menu had too many choices, aso I just went with the special that aslo included a dessert. I had the apple turnover for dessert. I brought it home along with my food(waiter forgot the biscuits), but it tasted fine reheated. Overall, this was a decent experience, and it was huge and spacious, so it didn’t feel crowded.

I still enjoy dining at Red Lobster, even though there are no Red Lobster locations back home in NH. Those Red Lobster commercials for their promotions including Endless Shrimp and the Four Course Seafood Feast are shown frequently on local TV in NH, which does not seem to make sense, but make me hungry. This is a teaser since the closest Red Lobster to NH is this location in Colonie NY. Fortunately for me, I can get to this Red Lobster when visiting the area. I was here several months ago to take advantage of the Endless Shrimp promotion and in very recently with a friend to enjoy the Four Course Seafood Feast promotion. A friend and I arrived here for dinner around 9:35PM on a Saturday night and were told by the hostess that«we’re closed!» and we kind of looked stunned and thinking about our second dining choice at 70 Wolf Rd. The hostess was only kidding, but she sounded believable and we were immediately seated at a booth. Both of us went for the $ 14.99 Four Course Seafood Feast, which included choice of soup, choice of salad, choice of one of 7 entrees and choice of dessert. We enjoyed Manhattan Clam Chowder and fresh baked Cheddar Bay Biscuits, which are very fattening, but taste soooo amazing! Next we enjoyed a fresh Garden Salad and a Caesar Salad, both pretty good. For entrees, we had the Jumbo Coconut Pineapple Shrimp with spicy pineapple glaze & relish served with rice medley & broccoli and the Garlic Alfredo Shrimp & Scallop Pasta(Linguine). The coconut shrimp entrée was decent and tasty, a modest portion of food. The pasta dish was a good sized portion with plenty of small soft shrimp(cleaned) and bay scallops with diced tomatoes and a thick alfredo sauce. For desserts, we enjoyed the Triple Chocolate Brownie a la Mode(vanilla ice cream) and the Apple Crostada with Caramel Drizzle, both served very hot in small bowls, the right sized dessert for a big meal. Overall, a good meal at a good price with friendly service. The waitress was attentive and prompt, she brought out refills of ice cold Diet Coke without us asking, an empty takeout container to pack the leftovers and more fresh baked cheddar bay biscuits upon request. I will be soon enjoying my Red Lobster leftovers back in NH, a non Red Lobster area.

Yah Red Lobster! Nice clean dining area, I like the dark wood and booths! The salad was fresh, the popcorn shrimp was awesome! so crunchy and golden with a baked potato oozing butter. And who doesn’t love their biscuits! Our waitress was friendly and efficient and they have plenty of parking.
