Not the place for first aid or even a scrub pumice stone. But the employees were so nice ? All I wanted was to give myself a home mini pedicure Ya know to keep my feet silky and all :)

For some reason, on the outside of this facility Shoppers had a Grand Opening sign. I walked in and saw it just a tad brighter and they may have moved around a few produce stands, but overall its still a horrible Shoppers. Every time I come here there are randoms hanging around outside begging for money, selling stuff or just there meeting with friends… randoms. The employees are ratchet, constantly outside smoking cigarettes and neglecting long lines of customers. I can never find anything(who doesn’t have Malt-O-Meal or Coconut flakes, or natural preserves!!! I can’t!) and the meat selections always look 3 weeks old. Considering this is a smaller Shoppers, I would expect them to been more efficient(doesn’t it take more energy to run a larger facility??). Thats furthest from the case here: I have never seen anyone man the bakery section and the vegetables, much like the meat, always looks days past its expiration. Word of advice: Stop somewhere else.

This place is very dirty, needs some TLC. Will not buy any meats from here– only box items. It gets very crowded and the cashiers are pretty slow… This area needs a better grocery store!

I like, its organized and I always find what I need. Love the musical selection while you shop. Sometimes you will run in to long lines, but hey… its a grocery store.

All Shoppers are not created equal. This Shoppers is kind of sad. Semi-small produce section(not as small as the Shaw Giant on 7th St., but I don’t think anywhere has that small of a produce section), somewhat bare shelves, large frozen food section, sort of slow service, dimly-lit parking lot, etc. Doesn’t hold a candle to the Shoppers in Potomac Yard. Not completely awful, but I wouldn’t head out of my way to come here. On the plus side, the in-store soundtrack of 70s and 80s R&B hits was a welcome change from the usual Muzak/Easy Listening played in most grocery stores. There may be no granola bars, but you’ll at least be tapping your foot to Earth, Wind, and Fire’s greatest hits as you dig to find an acceptable alternative.
