There are a lot of great, independent coffee houses in the area; Revolution is hands-down the best. We started buying their coffee to brew at home about 2 years ago and can’t imagine brewing anything else. It stays fresh longer than other places coffee. They roast their own beans too, which is a really cool thing to have in Collingswood. We recommend their Honduran Marcala city roast. Makes a great gift, or alternative to bringing wine to a dinner party. Their baked goods are tasty too… We really like their Banana Coconut scone. While we typically get their coffee to go, we really like the store’s vibe… The staff is friendly, knowledgable, and laid back. We feel equally at ease going in to work on a laptop as we do going for a snack with our 2 year old. There’s a genuine sense of community among those who go there to hang out. And, they’re now open on Sundays! Revolution has the best coffee around, and the quintessential café for a town as hip as Collingswood.

Nice atmosphere, meaning. Not Starbucks. I got an egg muffin. No muffin, just eggs and arugula. Pretty good. The only complaint I have is that, after making the purchase, no «thank you». Makes a person feel unwelcome. There aare other shops near here that I’ll try next time. Yes, it IS that important.

I’m a regular here and I drink their cold brew year round! Black with syrup, and it’s perfect. It’s not bitter, and to me tastes much better on its own. Everyone is the nicest and will chat with you, let you know what they like, and are super accommodating. They have a punch card system for their coffee drinks and their bags of coffees too. They also sell their iced coffee in growlers! You can come by and get just a coffee drink or you can also get a sandwich/soup(part of Square Meal) and they have a small fridge of drinks too. They’re always at the Westmont Farmer’s Market and Collingswood Farmer’s Market. Great place.

Looking for coffee. And a place to chill with free wifi, that isn’t Starbucks. This is the place.

Really happy to have tried this place again — they have cold brew and espresso drinks now(whoohoo), had a delicious, aromatic and smooth latte this morning. Also bought some beans to try out. I have been travelling out from collingswood to haddonfield to get decent coffee but now I can stay in town, yay!

My favorite coffee shop! Fair trade coffee beans freshly roasted on premises, delicious baked goods and homemade eats like eggs, sandwiches, soups, etc. And to top it off, the owners and barristas are sooooo friendly!

Good coffee and I really like the vibe. Relaxed coffee shop with relaxed customers. The building is awesome – you can ask to see the back where they roast beans amongst huge machinery and local metal artists they let use the space/resources.

I’ll leave it at 3 stars for now. Despite the positive reviews, I wasn’t impressed. The prices are very good, only 2.50 for a medium cup of coffee which is great, they had delicious looking pastries, but the coffee wasn’t very good. I got the dark roast. I normally like black coffee, and can normally drink a good dark roast, but this coffee was bland, and had a harsh after bite. I don’t like ruining a coffee with cream and sugar, but I had to this time, and it still wasn’t that good. This weekend I’ll go back, give it another try, buy a cookie and look around. Maybe my first experience wasn’t the best, I’ll be happy to rereview to 5 stars like everyone else that raves about this place, but we will see…

I love this place. Their Bali roast is unreal. Lee who works there knows a lot about coffee and will gladly explain. I love the renovations too. I feel like its the right step in making the place more cozy and giving it a «coffee-shop» feel to it.

Best coffee in South Jersey. Friendly staff. Cozy setting. When in Collingswood, I always make a point of stopping in. Glad to have a terrific spot like this in the community!

Who said Jersey doesn’t value artists? This is the strongest coffee, dopest café, creative juices flowing Internet café ever. And I can bring my dog!!! There’s a little cove balcony upstairs that perfect for solitude working. Tons of table seating on lower level. It’s literally the avenue a from New York in Collingswood Nj. Will def come back for study space and hang outs! Oh yeah the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and so kind!

This place is amazing :) I grew up in westmont and never knew about revolution until recently. The cold brew ice coffee is amazing. The rumors are true, you can get a growler of iced coffee to go. Free ice coffee refills while you hang at the shop and every sixth cup free with the customer loyalty card. I saw some past reviews mention that they did not have espresso, they have espresso now, and it is delicious. The vibe in here is super chill. There is always really nice classic rock or «coffee house«music playing. The staff is really friendly and the service is fast but never rushed. Quickly becoming my fav coffee house in the area.

Awesome place tucked away on a side street off Haddon Avenue. The coffee is made fresh daily by three roasters. We met one of the roasters in the summer at the Farmers Market off of Haddon Avenue, and finally checked out Revolution. Not only is it a friendly atmosphere with great coffee and treats, but it is also the Factory Workers location that allows members to use the space for crafting such as woodworking, metal working, sewing and ceramics. It used to be the Collingswood theater, so it still has all the original architecture and stage as well. It’s beautiful. The space can also be rented out for parties and events. Pretty neat. The young lady working gave us the tour through the factory to the back where they brew the coffee. A very small space indeed, but it was cool to check out. A great place to relax and hang out.

My first experience with Revolution was last summer at the Westmont farmers market. I picked up a bag of coffee from them to bring home and was wowed by the taste. I finally got the chance to stop into Revolution one morning and really enjoyed it. The whole ambience is super cool and welcoming. Can’t wait to get back and to try another bag of their coffee.

Despite it’s unfortunate location for foot traffic, Revolution is a pretty cool coffee shop in downtown Collingswood. I’m in no ways a coffee aficionado but I can tell they really care about the coffee they serve, and I will admit that I could tell the difference. The room is small but it can probably sit somewhere between 10 — 15 people so it’s not a bad spot to grab a drink and hang for a bit. The service was friendly and they even gave me a frequent coffee drinker card. Not too shabby.

I am not a coffee connoisseur or snob. I just enjoy coffee and the atmosphere that usually surrounds it. That being said, my coffee aficionado brother gives this place 5 stars and my layman’s palate also gives it 5 stars. I love their cold brew, it’s really smooth. Their location is small but nice. It is part of a larger building that my friend and I explored and then were pleasantly surprised when we ran into the owner as he was roasting. He was super nice. I’d love to see them offer espresso, but I’m happy with my cold brew until then.(As of now, 2016, they do offer espresso and other things! Their food is also amazing! Still in love with this place!)

In the short few years since Revolution opened, it’s become one of the most beloved spots in downtown Collingswood, something that’s even truer now that they opened up more space for tables and let more natural light permeate their café. Once outfitted with a menu of amazing pastry items and baked goods from Constellation Collective(who have since moved to their own must-visit space last year on Haddon Ave), they now have a wide array of delicious breakfast and brunch sandwiches, plates, and bowls from The Square Meal. Their coffee, responsibly grown and then roasted a few hundred feet away in The Factory, the makerspace building in which they are located, is as good as ever. They make the kind of coffee you don’t need to add anything to. You can get it drip or pour over, hot or iced, or in the form of one the best cold brews I’ve ever had. Even their decaffeinated coffee tastes great. What I love about these guys is that they’re always tinkering and innovating with both their coffees and their space. I’ve seen it go from a barebones café to a warm, inviting space to hang out, catch up with friends, get work done, and just enjoy some great food and drinks. Revolution is one of the highlights of our life here in Collingswood.

For a plain and simple, yet delicious cup of coffee this, is the place to go. For those of you hoping to get a Café Americano or a Red Eye(the latter being my recent fave) then don’t bother coming because they won’t have it. It wasn’t until after we made our purchase that I realized they were one of the vendors at the Collingswood farmer’s market. They brew small batches to ensure quality and freshness. A very laid back atmosphere that’s popular with the locals. Overall, the coffee is good, but not mind blowing. Having been to the West Coast and experiencing Blue Bottle(and experiencing the ridonkulous line too) it was a bit disappointing not to be able to get a capuccino or even espresso. I would, however, recommend going with an iced coffee over the hot. IMO, the iced had much more flavor since it’s cold brewed for hours rather than dumping ice into hot coffee. If the weather’s too hot for you and you’re in the area, stop in for an iced coffee. Doctor it up yourself if you choose(in addition to the usual coffee garnishes they have freshly made simple syrup which is an added treat).

Awesome, local, small-batch, Coffee Roaster & Café located on the ground-floor of ‘The Factory’ building. Today’s batch was Honduran, Ethiopian and one other(can’t remember). They allow you to sample/try-before-you-buy if you are not sure what you want. I really enjoyed the Honduran. The wife loved her Cold Brewed Ice Coffee blend!(she usually takes her coffee black but indicated that a tiny pour of simple syrup/whole-milk took it to another level). We also tried a sample of coffee Ice Cream(made w/their coffee) from their new ice-cream supplier(Weckerly’s of Philadelphia), it’s very good! They will be serving ice cream sandwiches soon. They now offer Growlers for Iced-Coffee. A new growler full of 64oz of concentrate(makes a gallon of iced coffee) for $ 18, a refill for $ 12.(great for making at home/work, will buy one on my next visit). Prices are very reasonable. They have some cozy seating and free wi-fi. You can also buy their coffee at the Collingswood Farmers Market. Suggestions: Not sure if they have the facilities/equipment for it but the foodie in me would love to see some breakfast sandwich offerings(hint-hint). As fellow Unilocaler(Gene D.) mentioned, I think they need better signage/visibility on Haddon Ave to make everyone aware of this awesomeness!(may be due to red tape/zoning laws?)
