Sad to give one of my fave restaurants a low rating. Would be one star except the sweet potato fries are so good. My daughter had a coupon for free burger. The girl at register couldnt handle, so manager came and glared through the whole process. We later diacovered he charged 1.20 too much. Burger patties were lukewarm at rhe most and had virtually no flavor — not like what we are used to from Mooyah burgers at all. Condiments were slapped on so haphazardly all four of us had to rebuild our burgers to distribute ingredients evenly. One table of patrons were leaving as we arrived, and no one else was there, so not sure why the sandwiches had to be so poorly thrown together. Very disappointed in one of our family faves.

This burger place is fantastic. I’m not usually a burger fan but this place is great and Stanley the cook sure knows what he’s doing. I will most definitely be going back.

Brilliant burger joint! I went to Mooyah’s a few years back and thought it was over priced with portion sizes that were way too small to feed any human being. I randomly stumbled into this location and was oh so impressed. They’ve cut their prices to what I would say is cheap and have excellent food. The turkey burger and the double cheeseburger were what I tried along with fries. They were pretty good. For $ 17, we had two burgers and some regular fries(large portion if you ask me) and were stuffed. The setting was what I’d like from a burger joint and wasn’t packed at all for lunch on a Sunday. I’ll be here again, more often than I would have ever thought.

Great burgers and fries. Sometimes we eat in and sometimes we get our food to go. Both options are easy and great. Open parking and this location is always clean. We bring our kiddos here and they love it too.

Great burgers. We always try to stray to other places every once in a while but for some reason are always coming back to moo yah. The reason. Great food. Love the fries. Love the staff.

Always check your order if it’s a to go. They ALWAYS get the take out order wrong; even if they REPEAT it back correctly. Foods good, but staff needs some more teaching.

I don’t like to write one star reviews, but this one is well deserved. We had not been back to this Mooyah location for at least 6 months because I think their pricing is too high for a burger and fries, but my neighbor’s niece just got hired there and we wanted to support her. We walked in and Ray, who I later learned is the store manager, was at the register. My son walked up and started giving his order, and Ray immediately started interrupting him and raising his voice when my child did not answer fast enough. This caused my son to get flustered, which made it even harder for him to complete his order. As this went on, Ray got louder and more obnoxious until I finally had to step in and complete the order. The whole thing took only about a minute to occur, but because of Ray’s abhorrent behavior and my son’s resulting discomfort, it felt like forever. Ray was equally rude to my daughter and myself when we placed our orders, and we later learned from our neighbor that he instructs his employees to interrupt customers, and yells at them if they do not harass customers while they are ordering. Ray was not rude when he delivered our food, but the experience had been ruined by then. If the owners of this Mooyah location check Unilocal reviews, you are welcome to contact me about this experience. My son is high functioning autistic, and he tries really hard every day to make sure that he is interacting appropriately with people. The brusque way that Ray treated him is completely unacceptable. No customer should be treated like that, whether they have special needs or not. I tried to alert the owners of this store about this situation via the text option offered for reviews. I’m not sure if that text ever went through, but I immediately received notification that I would be receiving 4 advertising texts a month from the number that was listed for customer comments from that Mooyah.

Great burgers. Love that you can add toppings and sauces without being up charged for every little thing. Their buns are awesome and hard to pass up but the lettuce wraps are a great alternative and easy way to cut a few calories. You can always use the difference on a great shake that they offer. The sweet potato fries are good but I prefer the regular fries. This place is a little expensive but beats out any other fast food burger joint with quality.

I would give the food a 3 star rating but the service I would give a zero. After coming to Mooyah for years since it is the only burger place that is near my home and is not McDonald’s, I was shocked by how the manager Natoya treated us. We walked in at about 9:40 with guests from out-of-town and she began shaking her head and told us that they closed in 20 minutes. Although we expressed that we were going to dine in(where else can I take people to eat in the freezing cold with a ton of kids) she packed our food for us in bags and told us that they will specifically close at 10. No Hi! Welcome to Mooyah or Thank you for coming! Nothing. She was just rude and shook her head at us the whole time we were there. as we were walking out she followed us and stared as we left. After spending $ 150 for burgers that we once we settled down to eat were cold and soggy, I think we were better off going to Five Guys. They wouldn’t have kicked us out for walking in at whatever time. Soooo if you have to stop by and get a burger make sure you do so wellllll before 9 p.m. as to not offend manager Natoya! Needless to say, being mortified in your hometown of Colleyville with guests out of town was enough for me!

Best local hamburgers I’ve yet to find! Eat here at least once a week. North Texas raised grass fed beef, always fresh and very healthy! Girlfriend and I absolutely LOVE Mooyah Burgers and Fries!!!

Mooyah is a great place with a simple menu and an open, upbeat atmosphere. It is designed to be kid-friendly with a giant chalkboard for kids to draw or write on and tons of color all over the walls. It is dad-friendly as there is almost always sports on the tele. As well, it is youth-friendly with its custom contemporary pop playlist. The burgers and buns are super-fresh and very customizable with some more interesting toppings than a lot of other places offer(relish, bbq sauce, sauteed mushrooms). Fries are also quite good. This particular location has always been clean on my visits and I appreciate their offering of hand sanitizer from a dispenser near the order queue. Mooyah is a nice little lunch or dinner place, a good alternative to the nearby fast-food joints. It isn’t as expensive as a full-service sit-down place but it is a bit more than the fast-food shops. Still, I feel the slight premium is justified by the quality and atmosphere.

Burger Rating: 6.4 Service: 8 Cleanliness: 8 Value: 7 I’ve been here twice and the burger is okay. They serve them well done, but they stay juicy. That’s good. I’m not a fan of the fries. Overall, it’s a nice, clean place staffed by helpful people who try … attempt to make a good burger. Other people rave about this place, but I fail to see what the fuss is about. I have a theory, that nobody else agrees with, but here it is anyway: Food in the Midwest, Plains, and the North is bland, and folks from those areas like food that is bland. On the other hand, food in the South, and along both coasts is more flavorful and is often bold and spicy. Mooyah Burgers makes the perfect Midwest burger. I’m indifferent about this place. If I was standing outside the door and I wanted a burger, then I’d go in. Otherwise, there are better burger places. Side note: I’m glad they no-longer yell, «Welcome to Mooyah» when I walk through the door. Thank you for that. — — — — — — — — – I’m working my way through the best burger joints in DFW. AWESOME! Get the turkey burger with iceberg lettuce and mushrooms, I know it doesn’t sound like it would have that much flavor but it really does. It is filled with amazing flavor. Also the mooyah sauce is just thousand island dressing so if your wondering what to put on you can try that.

Burger was good but fries were old must have been there for a hour or so and if your spending $ 12 for the meal it should at least be fresh.

God, I love a good burger. A big, fat, juicy burger with all of the toppings I could want. And that is exactly what my husband, I and my small cousin got. I’m not sure if it is because I’m OCD or what, but I really love checklists. Now combine checklists with juicy burgers, fries and a shake? Heaven on a plate. I’ve never actually been to a place that asks you to check off your toppings, flavor of your shake and even the kind of bun you’d like. It was extremely neat. The burger was amazingly fresh. I could just taste it. With American cheese, tomatoes, pickles, mayo and ketchup, I was in love. But my favorite part? The fries. They were made fresh from potatoes(not the frozen kind, either) with what I’m guessing is sea salt, which tastes amazing. We ordered a large and it was enough to feed the 3 of us and then some. We had a lot of leftovers. Don’t even get me started on the Oreo shake. Holy crud. WONDERFUL. This place is also«kid-friendly» with coloring pages, crayons and a big writing wall for the kids to take a marker to. It kept my cousin entertained whilst they cooked our food. Love it!(It saved me from having to fork over my phone so she could download silly apps) Great burgers, fries and one heck of a shake, and we were pleased. I’d recommend it to anyone who likes a great burger :)

Mooyah has really yummy burgers. We go regularly and everybody in the family loves it – especially the kids. The fries are great and they have Arnold Palmers on tap – you can’t beat that. Every time I get a fresh mooyah burger, I am surprised at how good it is. The restaurant is clean and pretty roomy, but it’s also garish and sometimes extremely noisy. Sometimes the music is way too loud. I don’t mind loud music, but I do mind loud music that sucks. The fact that I continue to go back and risk having to hear loud crappy music demonstrates just how much I like the burgers.
