This place is THEBEST. Cute, quaint, personable, wonderful… I could go on and on! Dance Axiom is in it’s second or third(i’m not quite sure!) year of business and is located in Tara Village in Colleyville. Ms. Devin is not only the owner and operator, but teaches many classes during the week as well. She attended a dance school in Arizona, but has performed nationally as well as internationally. What sets her apart from other performers, is that she loves to share her set of skills with little people who want to grow and learn as dancers themselves. I fell in love with Ms. Devin when I was hunting for a dance school to enroll my three year old in, when she called me back personally and chatted me through how her studio operated for over thirty minutes… I knew this was the place was for us! The studio is so well kept, very clean and organized. I watch the teachers themselves sweep the floor in between classes to ensure the kiddos don’t slip and get hurt. There is lots of comfy waiting space for the parents of younger children, as it is asked that kiddos 3 and younger have a parent on site to help change shoes and help with potty breaks if needed. The studio staff takes time to teach dance terminology in «little kid lingo», play familiar kid tunes like«Let it Go» from Frozen and even decorate for the holidays, which is so important to kiddos. All in all they really put the kids first. We pay $ 63 a month for my daughters tap and ballet combination class, one night a week. And for the adult who refuses to let go of her teenage years, I pay $ 50 a month for a «Drill Team Alumni» class that meets at 8 o’clock one night a week. My daughter has a blast and loves her teacher Ms. Dorian, while I pretend to look as graceful as my instructor, Ms. Devin, and not fall down. We love LOVE Dance Axiom and hope to make this our dance home for many years to come.

Dance Axiom is a true treasure. The owner Devin Cash and faculty have professional experience, training and know how. The way they are with the students and parents is unsurpassed in DFW. I’ve personally seen people grow there, not only as amazing dancers, but wonderful individuals. Also… it’s right next to a Mexican restaurant, so drop off the kid and grab some grub! ;)

My daughter came here wanting to do Hip Hop classes. The pricing was fair, 1 hip hop class per week for $ 63 /month. My daughter REALLY enjoys the class. She looks forward to it whenever it’s that day of the week she has classes. The owner and staff are VERY nice and welcoming. There are always classes going on when we are there — tap, ballet etc… And the level of classes and students are varied and you can attend classes that fit your level and needs. They also do a recital for your kids if you are interested for an addition… I think $ 60. The negative… I don’t think the beginning hip hop class is for«serious» dancers. They are there learning basic moves and I think they are more focused on making it fun as opposed to technique. This is actually what we wanted, but if you were wanting it needing your classes to be more technique oriented, this is not the class for you. Maybe the higher levels focus a bit more on that but I wouldn’t know. All in all, my daughter likes it very much and we keep going back. The people are great, the place is clean and professional and the«Dance Moms» I’ve met were all surprisingly wonderful women.
