Braum’s

This was a nice Brahms. What really made it nice was the super polite and patient lady behind the counter. My two autistic children took a while to order and were indecisive, but she stayed calm and allowed them to take their time. The workers were quick and efficient in getting our ice cream and even offered us glasses for water without us having to ask. Other than that it was a typical Braums, and I wish the tables were more clean. The service however was very good.

I have been a Braum’s fan since moving to Texas. This location, however, leaves much to be desired. To be fair, I’ve never had a bad experience dining in at this location. Buying meals through the drive thru is a different story. About two weeks ago I purchased a crispy chicken club combo via the drive thru. The chicken was hardened on the edges, dry, and did not seem fresh. I’ve had this experience on at least one other occasion at this location. Also to be fair, I didn’t call and complain to the manager… They probably would have corrected the situation, but it’s too much hassle to drive back to the restaurant even if it’s 5 mins away. I don’t want coupons or credit. I want to buy my food and enjoy it after a hard day. Just get my order right and prepared correctly the first time. I don’t think that’s asking too much.

Favorite ice cream parlor! Super cheap! About 1.50 $ for a small scoop. Never ever disappointed with this place. Flavors are bomb! All the flavors continue to amaze me. And the pricing is so cheap. Definitely recommend coming here!

Our first time here and the staff had big smiles and a ton of patience as we tried everything and changed our minds again and again.
Hard scooped ice cream can be a nightmare to work with and they didn’t flinch.

So I asked for lemon with my unsweet tea. They looked at me as if that was abnormal. They had lime and if I wanted lemon, I would have to purchase a whole lemon. Bad choice for lunch, bad service.

Double scoop ice cream for $ 1.99! Need I say more? My family always comes plowing in with all 10+ kids and we all order whatever ice cream we want for an insanely affordable amount. We’ve even come into braum’s in 36 degree weather to have ice cream. I am never dissappointed. This location, specifically, has been remodeled and the staff is always pleasant. We will keep returning to Braum’s, no doubt!

After a disappointing trial of a «cherry limeade,» at a place up the road and a subsequent refund of said limeade, we came here.
I can always count on Braum’s to provide fairly consistent products with regards to their shakes and limeades.
So, I had a cherry limeade and my husband got a peanut butter milkshake. Oh course mine was great (as always) and the peanut butter shake was amazing! It makes a difference that they use a peanut butter ice cream, not just adding peanut butter to a vanilla milkshake. Perfection!
I can also vouch for the burgers and fries. Pretty good for fast food. They are closer to a homemade burger. Fresh veggies and their crinkle cut fries are cooked just right.
The restaurant has never been the cleanest, unfortunately. That’s probably why we don’t frequent it more. However, they’ll wash the tables upon request if they’ve missed it.

— Best hamburger around —– hands down. Plus pretty good ice cream too. Always fresh and a wonderful alternative to the burger chains. Most have drive though which is a big plus. Breakfast is good to.

Terrible service, rude staff, and poorly managed. Ice cream is good but not worth the hassle of dealing with people who obviously hate their jobs.

This location has great service. The ice cream is fantastic as all braums are. ;)
The location could be a little cleaner. Lots of dirty tables.

Great ice cream, frozen yogurt, sundaes, etc. haven’t gotten any hot food here but the desserts are great. Delicious and great portions. You get a good amount of ice cream for your money (double dip in a waffle cone is about $ 2) and they don’t skimp.
Interior is a bit dated but is clean and has lots of seating.

I love Braum’s… better yet, I love the cheap prices at Braum’s. However, there’s one thing I did NOT notice until today, and that’s the fact that the Ice Cream fridge is filthy! Oh, so gross. And as one employee was reaching his hand to the bottom of the bucket, his hand slid and got ice cream on it; rather, his germs got in the ice cream… oh. so. gross. Sorry, but that kinda stuff just grosses me out.
Overall, they have great burgers/​crinkle fries, and the filthiness of the ice cream fridge was probably more an exception, not a rule.
The employees at this location are typically nice too. I like nice people!
The only thing that peeves me about EVERY Braum’s, EVERY time is the décor and the advertising. umm… it’s the 2000’s. Get with it.
Anyway, I say give it a shot if you’re in the mood for grease, dairy, and are wanting something quick, cheap, and easy. Go for it.

My sister and I went here to grab a few burgers, chicken fingers, drinks and some ice cream and take them to the park to eat and play with the kids. We were very excited as we had NEVER eaten at a Braum’s before. They don’t have these where we’re from (Houston).
We were VERY disappointed. Not only were our chicken fingers cold, our french fries stale, but our drinks were completely flat. We will never eat here again.
Also, upon entering the store, we found that the floors were dirty and the bathrooms had no toilet-​paper. I was not thrilled.

Had a breakfast from the drive-​thru; I had the sausage, egg and cheese biscuit and my wife had the sausage breakfast burrito. The biscuit sandwich was pretty decent; the biscuit was a little lopsided but seemed fresh. Eggs and sausage were average; overall, the sandwich was probably on par or maybe a little bit under the similar product from the other big chain that uses an «M» for their logo.

I’ve had Braum’s since I was a kid. The ice cream is always very good and the burgers are pretty good fo an ice cream joint. That’s what gets it 3 stars.
It gets a two star reduction because of the service. The girl was helping a couple in front of us and I overheard their final item which was a mint chocolate shake. I had already planned to order the same. The employee finished with the couple and I let my girlfriend order first. After her single dip was done I told her that I wanted the shake and she gave me a dirty look like it was so much of an inconvenience. I ignored it and she went on to start making the shake. My girlfriend told me that I got a second dirty look from the employee after my back was turned. She is being paid to scoop ice cream, is she not? I am not going to feel bad for asking someone to do what they are being paid to do.
The shake was delicious! Even if it did possibly have spit in it.
