We love Anna’s! Great food and the best Margarita’s in DFW. Table side guacamole is awesome. We go so often that we have just about tried everything on the menu and love it. Our favorite server is Valente ask for him he’s the best.

Food, cocktails and service were all amazing. I wish we didn’t have to wait so long to be seated, but I would have waited twice that long to eat their food. I had Pechuga de Pollo with cilantro rice and the mezcalrita. It was probably the best tex mex dish I’ve ever eaten in my life. The Mezcalrita had a smoky flavor and was a very filling, satisfying cocktail. My boyfriend had a chimichanga and he said it was perfectly seasoned. The portions were ample. I had half there and enjoyed the second half for lunch the next day. Will definitely come back again and again!

My entrée was great(Beer-batterd fish tacos), House Margarita is really good, but the chips were very blandbut, and our service was not good. Sonia(I believe was her name) acted as if we were an inconvenience, did not acknowledge questions or requests, would just turn and leave, so you never knew if she heard you, or was even going to complete the request. And they were not busy. At all. So she had no excuses.

Don’t use your credit card at Annas Mexican Grill! We just received a phone call from our bank that said fraudulent charges were made to our card after using it at this restaurant. They told us that this has happened with several other patrons as well. We had the buffet. The food was par at best and we had to ask for drink refills. We will not be returning, and with so many other Mexican restaurants around, I can’t imagine how they are still in business.

Quick Cinco de Mayo review. We decided that it was the perfect day for a happy hour and dinner. Anna’s is just a few blocks from home so it is very convenient. We got there around 4:45 and went to their rather small bar area. Only a couple of folks in the bar and even fewer in the dining area. We decided to celebrate the holiday with Margaritas, one frozen and one on the rocks. Not our usual drinks, but they were delicious. Within a short time, the bar and restaurant were jammed. When we decided to eat, we had a short wait. No problem, we had prime seats at the bar while many were having to stand or wait outside. We had a good meal. Nothing outstanding, but solid. We finished about 8:00 and there was still a wait for a table. We have been going to Anna’s since they first opened a few years ago. We have gone for brunch, lunch and dinner. There have been several times when the place was almost empty. Cinco de Mayo 2016 was not one of those times. We’ve never had a bad experience or meal there. I hope this night was not unusual and that the restaurant has finally caught on with the locals. We need locally owned and operated eating establishments, especially good ones that are only a couple of blocks away. We’ll be back. Hope to see you there.

Seated immediately and service was good but personnel not overly friendly. Brisket tacos and chicken enchiladas were good. Enjoyed the chips and queso. Salsa is loaded with garlic which is not my thing. Top shelf margarita was great… Ask them to go light on the ice. Only three patio tables if you want to sit outside.

Food was incredibly bland. So disappointed. My ranchero sauce tasted like Campbell’s tomato soup. Margaritas were good.

My husband and I came for the first time to check it out. The ratings seemed like it was worth it, so we thought we would give it a shot. Our server,(didn’t get a name) acted like she didn’t want to be there. We ordered drinks and TABLESIDE guacamole. Our guacamole was made in the back and the avocados were not mashed well. Also, it was very blan. I had ordered mixed fajitas with steak and shrimp. There were no seasoning. The day we came was very slow, I don’t understand why you wouldn’t take the time to season the food or make table side guacamole at the table. Our server also did not come back to check how our food was. I have been a server for years so I understand. In the end, service was terrible, food was blan, Margarita was not the greatest. We still left a 20% tip, but I will not be making a second visit.

Generally speaking, my experience with Anna’s has been positive. I typically get the chicken quesadillas, my wife gets their fajitas, and we are always happy with the food. I’ve had one of their margaritas and wasn’t disappointed, but thought it was a little expensive at $ 8.00 — I don’t drink often, so I’m unsure if this is typical pricing for such a drink. Their wait staff is always pleasant and ready to help. Overall… Food(5) Staff(5) Environment(4)

My husband and I tried Annas out the other day and the food was just«okay, it wasn’t amazing but just average Mexican food. The thing that bothered us was terrible service. I ordered fajitas and had to ask 2 different people(because we could never find our original waiter) for the tortillas that come with it. We had to ask for refills and our check multiple times. If you have endless time on your hands and do not mind being completely ignored for average food than you may like this place. We will not be returning.

I had high hopes for this neighborhood Mexican restaurant, but the experience was mostly disappointing. When we walked in, the first thing we noticed was a drained, inoperable water feature — flashing a warning message that this place wasn’t generating enough cash flow to cover the upkeep. Nevertheless, we pressed on to one of the many empty tables. Another ominous sign, but too late to turn back now. The meal started off pretty well. My frozen margarita arrived in a pretty blue glass — tart and refreshing. The tableside guacamole was well done, prepared expertly with all the standard fresh ingredients. Then, dinner arrived. The beef fajitas were easily some of the worst we’ve ever had — the theme music to «Rawhide» flashed through our minds as we attempted to gnash our way through the gristle. My chile relleno, although competently executed, was ho-hum in flavor. Generally, the menu hewed unwaveringly to a 1990s Tex-Mex script, with nary an original or unusual dish. With so many other excellent Mexican food options in the area, Anna’s Mexican Grill is a wallflower that just blends into the background.

Okay Unilocalers here it is. My new favorite Mexican restaurant while in the Grapevine area. My son and I had a good meal here, good service and fair pricing. I had the combination dinner and my offspring had chicken quesadillas(along with occasional samples from my plate). We will be coming back, Vale’ was our waiter. It’s sunny and 73 degrees and I’m thinking its time to find a park and rest my eyes while I nap in the grass. A good day Unilocalers, peace!

The only reason why this restaurant is getting three stars is because of the bartender he is worth 5 stars. The food here is ok. But the service here is awful. My friend and I had to bus our own table because the waitresses were too busy standing around talking. I asked for a water twice it was never brought over to me, they never offered to refill the salsa or chips. It was a shame because they would have gotten a pretty good tip from us. We actually had to leave our table and go to the bar for service. The drinks here are amazing and very cheap. I might go back here again to meet with friends for cocktails and see if the service improves.

Hubby and I enjoyed a date lunch here last week. They were a bit busy and customers talkative and loud. I ordered the Brisket Tacos and overall I was happy with my meal other than it seeming a bit greasy and salty. I don’t base my reviews off my perception of saltiness due to growing up on a low sodium diet. Hubby really appreciated the salsa and lunch special that has Brisket Taco, Tomatillo Chicken Enchilada, rice and beans. It was(in my opinion) a fairly large lunch. Our waiter was very busy with many tables but did a pretty good job. The wait was reasonable even for lunch time constraints. We will definitely return in the future.

Found this place via Unilocal and I am really glad I did. The margaritas are EXCELLENT(I highly recommend the top shelf frozen), the guacamole is great(make sure she puts the lime and salt on though) and my burrito with fajita beef was tasty. Chips are made fresh and their salsa is good as well. My woman got brisket tacos and(like so many before her) she loved them. Thinking next time of trying the fajitas, and there WILL be a next time!

Holy happy margaritas! Ice cold ones. In big pretty glasses. Oh yes, I am all about this place. The hh is until 6 pm so get there early during the week. There’s plenty of parking in the shopping center but pay close attention as you drive by because if you blink you just might miss it. I kept things easy and just got some items to nibble on. Their salsa was just okay but it had a bit of heat to it which I can appreciate. The queso is pretty delicious as well. I’ll have to get some corn tortillas to dip for the next time. They have lots of your usual Mexican food suspects on the menu… chicken, beef dishes, sizzling fajitas. Service was hit or miss also when I was there. But it’s a beautiful space and perfect for bringing friends or a date. I definitely will not hesitate to come back for another icy rita! So good… so strong… I saw rainbows, sparkles, and glitter afterwards.

We read about this place in a local newspaper and finally made our first visit last night. My dining partner and I sat at the bar. We each ordered sangria swirl margaritas and while waiting for our drinks, we were brought chips and salsa — which we practically finished before we even got our food — it was that good.(That explains the leftovers we took home.) For dinner he had the carne asada and I had the chicken flautitas. His steak was cooked perfectly and our food had great flavor. We left as very happy diners and are so glad to have a great Tex Mex place nearby.

This is a cute little restaurant tucked away in Colleyville. Service was really good as we were waited on by at least 4 servers. I ordered a skinny margarita, and it was a huge drink. For $ 9, it was worth it. We started off with the toto’s queso which came in a bowl of queso, pico, guacamole and spicy beef. It was pretty good but could have had more kick to it. The salsa is really good, and the chips came out warm. The chips and drink made me full pretty quick, so we split the appetizer platter which came with chicken flautas, beef quesadillas and nachos. The nachos were bland, but everythinh else was good. The quesadillas were my favorite as the beef was flavored really well. I’ll def come back.
