If you don’t know your jewelry, know your jeweler. These words my mother instilled while I was young. I should have listened and gone to the family jeweler. Instead, I’m feeling cheated.

My family has been going to Sabre’s for years and I’m so happy it was my first(and only) stop when my now-fiancée and I were looking at engagement rings. We worked with Stacy and she was so fun and great to work with. We’ll be in soon to browse wedding bands!

My husband has spent THOUSANDS of dollars at this place over the years. They recognize him when he walks in the door. We recently needed some extra cash quickly and brought in a VERY expensive, overpriced diamond necklace(purchased from Sabre’s) and some old gold rings. He was offered $ 150TOTALFOREVERYTHING. I called and told them they lost a very good customer, and now I’m telling you. I’m disgusted.

Very honest store a lot of antique jewelry and nicely priced diamonds. Didn’t try to over sell items and I am very happy with quality of items.

If you are looking for Excellent Customer service, jeweler onsite to do repairs, designs quickly, largest selection of both new designs and Estate go here. They have a very large selection of setting, gold silver jewelry. I went to them to help me with buying my engagement setting only and didn’t want to make the investment into buying a new expensive one. I wear mostly band rings, at 60 years. They showed me a really reasonable setting that was what I wanted mostly for design. They took my setting in trade for designing the new ring by taking the mounting off replacing with a new one, for the trade. They did it in a week and it came out great. They are accommodating, give you special attention, really are like an old fashioned jewelry business from years ago. There store is simple and not about keeping up with the Urban store trends however many time this translates into increased costs to you. Go to them and you will see for yourself that they will beat most other jewelry store price points. They do their best to make you happy with what your looking to accomplish here, including selling your gold jewelry. They paid me more than any other local jewelry store and were the only ones with a jeweler onsite to make my ring in one week, in the area. I stopped wearing my engagement ring years ago because it was the wrong setting for my skinny fingers. I couldn’t afford to rest the diamond in something else, but they helped me with that, came up with a reasonable way to design a new ring taking my old setting. They are truly down to earth, not about the money only, but developing a relationship with their customers and helping you.

If only there was an option for 0÷5… Before entering this«jewelry store» I could have never fathomed how intricate and time consuming the request for an appraisal and selling price of my ex’s 3 stone diamond ring would be. Having purchased the ring from the same store just a few years back, I decided that I’d return there in order to stay loyal to the local businesses in my area, however I can clearly see why most of the world is purchasing EVERYTHING on the internet. When I entered the store there were 4 employees working and 2 customers ahead of me. It was not until an hour and a half later(that’s right, 1.5 hours) that I was given the insulting offer to purchase the ring back from me at approximately 20% of what I originally paid for it. The employees were extremely pushy even before looking at the ring, INSISITING on knowing what I paid for the ring, how silly of me to actually be honest and tell them the real price instead of playing their game. While I was there I witnessed 5 individuals come in the store, and leave after 15 minutes because they were not being offered help by any of the employees. This place is absurd and will use any excuse to get the number they are after, instead of thinking long-term and maintaining POSITIVE customer relationships. The person that finally delivered the amount they’d be willing to buy it off of me for used every excuse in the book, first it was«I have to wait for my boss to get in before offering you a price», after I already heard him appraise the other 2 individual’s jewelry. Then it was, «the economy is bad», next it was«we have 20 rings just like this in the back». When I brought up the fact that the price of gold has DOUBLED since I purchased it and diamonds have increased in value significantly since then as well, his excuse was«well there’s not that much gold in here». Are you kidding me? I was dumbfounded by that answer. How can a jeweler not understand the fact that no matter how much gold is in any given piece of jewelry, if the price goes up compared to when it is purchased, that INCREASES the value of the jewelry. In hindsight I should have asked him what weights more, a pound of feathers or a pound of gold, I guarantee he would have gotten the wrong answer. I was only planning on recouping 60−75% of what I paid; I wasn’t looking to make money off of this ring, I just don’t want it laying around anymore because it’s just a bad memory. But offering me 20% after waiting an hour and a half is just ridiculous. I guess even local, small businesses are more focused on money and greed than they are on the meaning of the jewelry to the individual and building those solid customer relationships. I do have to say it’s a great place to buy Hummel’s though, they have an ENTIRECASE full of them, they haven’t sold one in 5 years he said, that is a prime example of incredible business sense right there. Oh and their«estate watch» selection is unlike any I’ve ever seen, you should go check it out some time.
