I have been going to this CVS pharmacy for over 8 years. The service has always been excellent for drop-ins and drive-bys, which is why I would have given it a 4 or a 5 star rating. However, my rating is based on recent experiences from a couple phone conversations-one regarding a job opportunity they were advertising on their drive-by window. Like I said, I was very interested in this position because of their customer service. And this morning, I was not a happy customer or applicant. I noticed the advertisement of the job position on the drive-by window over a month ago and was following up again from 2 weeks ago– a second time, hoping to get a better status of the application process. The posting was still displayed on their window, and I had received emails regarding the same position available at a different pharmacy location. In irony(since the application considered questions regarding how a pharmacist/employee would handle certain situations to a customer or a person), the phone conversation with this pharmacist(which shall not be named) who wanted my name first and didn’t respond to my question regarding her name ONLY until after I was put on hold – made the experience feel rude, abrupt, inattentive, and standoffish. At the end of that conversation, I just asked if the job advertisement that was still displayed on that drive-by window was just old, and she still could have handled the situation better. I’m obviously disappointed after all that, due to the original reason of why I was interested of the job position in the first place– for their«friendly» customer service. Now it sort of makes me think twice about that statement… It really is because the pick-up service fits best with my busy lifestyle. For phone conversations, I suggest that pharmacist be more attentive and not multitask and shuffle around prescription bags because the sound does echo into the phone and come off very loudly and like I repeated myself, I couldn’t hear you clearly(maybe because of that background noise). Over all, I am not interested in applying to the other cvs pharmacy location but will continue with the pick-up service as this is what has fit my busy lifestyle. I give it a range from 4 – 2 stars, depending on the pharmacist.
