Southern Adventist University

This school is very cheap in both senses of the word. It is not an expensive school to go to (considering its a private school). It’s also cheap because in the first week I got there I found things wrong with my dorm. First, the sink is detached from there counter and we can move it around, the AC only works half of the time, the light by the hehe mirror only occasionally works, and the windows leak water in when it rains. We put in work orders for these, but nothing happened until there was a storm that made the leak so bad it was dripping into the room below us. THEN they «fixed» it. But the leak started up again a few days after. Then they posted a note by the lights that said «Lights DO work. Some are slow to come on.» The light still to this day doesn’t come on unless someone stands there and applies pressure t it while the other uses the mirror and sink area. Also the students are nice, but very cliqueish. I was a new student, and everyone else already had their little groups, so I was just sitting there like okay… to add the hereof the here oh at the students are WIERD! My high-​school was more mature. So even if I was to join one of these lame squads, I have have to act wierd to be around them. Being g around them isn’t a fun experience ce it’s just very awkward. All inall, I really should’ve gone to LSU.
P.S WHY ARE THE MEALS SO EXPENSIVE SIVE. WE ARE COLLEGE STUDENTS. YOU KNOW WE CAN’T AFFORD THIS. I’M STARVING HERE.

This is a great school to go to. I studied here and got my bachelor’s degree. The professors are very caring and willing to help you out. Being a private school under the Seventh-​day Adventist Church, the school is service motivated. They have many opportunities for you to do some community service. You can get quite involved in the community.
They also have a student missions program. You can volunteer six months or a year of service here in the US or overseas. It’s an awesome program to get involved with.
One downside though is that it’s a pretty pricey school. But the financial office will help you get the financial aid you need. They sometimes are able to get you some scholarships and grants, which it always nice.
