I really like Torchy’s. The breakfast tacos are great and the tortillas in general are really good. I like it a little better than Fuego, and it’s probably my favorite place to go when I just want a tasty taco.

Torchy’s blows. Counter girl didn’t remember my order, order took forever for two tacos, the satellite tv wasn’t working properly, and I wasn’t offered a drink at the bar. Go to Fuego’s if you can.

So I got the breakfast tacos, they were pretty delicious. The Wrangler and the Ranch Hand were quite filling and tasty. I wish would’ve tried some of the other Unilocalers suggestions, maybe next time! PS All are there soft drinks are made with pure cane sugar. Yummy!!!

LOVE their queso! I come here for it very often and I haven’t found a place that serves such good queso. However, I give them 4 stars since their customer service a little slow. Great food overall!

Was a hotel recommendation. Enjoyed friendly staff they gave great suggestions. Went with Trailer Park got it Trashy & Brushfire. Both were good. Only questionable part was the bartender didn’t know anything about their beer selection. It was a struggle to get info about any craft beer options.

Nothing beats a Dirty Sanchez and Green Chile queso! So glad you opened in College Station. Don’t have to visit Austin anymore just to get my Torchy’s fix! Friendly service and fast even during lunchtime.

FTLT waiting to try Torchy’s, the flavor of did not disappoint. You must order the chips and green chile queso. Picked up on a secret menu with all the kids ordering I front of us. Torchy’s taco trailer flavor comes at a high price. Believe me you will gladly pay the price for the consistency on their menu; the only place we all wanted to visit twice on our weekend in Aggieland. Torchy’s has the salsas down so becareful; remember as hot as they go down they come out.

With all 3 of my fantasy football teams out of the playoffs, I gave in to my wife’s request for Sunday brunch. The missus and I decided against a traditional Mexican brunch and came to Torchy’s. I don’t approve of their use of the devil as a mascot, but I also don’t approve of people drinking before service. We decided on getting an order of chips and queso. Peggy didn’t want the Diablo sauce, and I don’t blame her. She’s a good woman and doesn’t need to subject herself to that kind of punishment. We both got some«chorizo» tacos which is Spanish I believe. They were delicious. I also got a steak and egg taco that was equally great. Peggy was feeling a bit frisky and ordered a mimosa. Before it arrived the chorizo’s true colors appeared. I’d hoped the cheese in the steak and egg taco would be enough to hold it at bay, but to no avail. I felt like I was giving birth to the Diablo himself. Thankfully they have great restrooms available where you can exorcise all of your demons. 5 star place!

The tortillas are just plain. They’re definitely not homemade. The salsas that are supposed to be spicy are barely a little hot. Overpriced for what you get. I tried some breakfast tacos today and they were super stuffed with egg but not much with the other ingredients. They do have some good drink specials. In my opinion, Jessie’s tacos are still the best breakfast tacos around the area.

Torchy’s provides an experience in food like no other. We visited the College Station Torchy’s after the game on Saturday night, and thankful we go there when we did(we missed the even bigger crowd that had the same idea). I’ve yet to have a bad meal there. My order this time was from the breakfast menu(at 10PM): miga’s taco and The Wrangler. Both were full tacos(requiring a fork) and exactly what was needed after post-football game. It was busy, but the management were on top of things and had signs posted in the order line to explain that time for food may take longer due to the volume of people. Staff were very friendly(like they have been at every other location) and seemed to cope with the large crowd leading up to closing time. Always a winning place to drop by for the great food.

Yes and yes! I just found out they’re opening one in Denver soon and am THRILLED! I’ve been for breakfast and dinner and was impressed both times. The classic bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast taco was great! Their bacon was thick and crispy and their eggs cooked well but not too well. Their other tacos are yummy and CHEAP! Street taco prices for bigger sizes! Their ingredients taste fresh and they have unique ingredients. No ground beef here… The real winner on their menu is the chips/guac. Their guac is salty, fresh, and delicious. I am a huge Chipotle fan but think Torchy’s chips and guac will convert me to a Torchy’s fan. Also, they have a full bar — voila!

Great atmosphere, fantastic menu and easy ordering format. I had a shrimp taco, green chili pork taco and street corn. They were all very good and reasonably priced. There were a few things that made it feel short of scratch made(particularly the tortillas and sauces) but still quite good. I’d go back.

I tried Torchy’s for the first time today and I was pleased. The Restaruant is clean and cool looking, the staff was very very nice and helpful. The food was so delicious! The location is easy to get to. My only concern was the price, I paid $ 10 for 1 taco, chips & queso, and a small drink. I mean the food was yummy but I can’t afford $ 10 a meal all the time.

Don’t go here expecting to get a typical Mexican taco. Their best tacos are their specialty ones and holy Sh! They are delicious! Make sure to get the queso too. You will fall in love. They have a secret menu that’s also fun to order from but make sure to check it out online before you get there. Happy eating!

We have a Torchy’s in Dallas and I had yet to try them. I’ve heard good things about them. While in College Station, were busy and wanted to get some good food, but quickly. So we stopped at Torchy’s and placed a to-go order. I got the burrito with steak. It was absolutely delicious. The diablo sauce is necessary if you like spicy and it definitely put the icing on the burrito. I will be visiting the Dalas locations regualry as well as the College Station one on my next visits

Torchy’s has always been in bigger cities only, so when it opened in college station it was huge news for the taco lovers, which means super long lines. I love their ingredients. The democrat has such soft barbacoa that it melts in your mouth. The cilantro, chopped up onions and avocado just add to the flavor. The brushfire is not for anyone with a weak tongue, or heart. It is not as spicy as wingstop’s atomic wings or buffalo wild wing’s blazin, but it will make you sweat.

Complicated sophisticated tacos. Every bite is different — and every concoction is original. There are(depending if you count breakfast tacos) thirteen to eighteen tacos on the menu. So you could tire if you ate here every day. But that said — this sure beats the same old same old hamburger and chicken tacos I have been eating all these years.

This place just opened up and it’s definitely one of the best taco joints in College Station.(Okay second best, but the first is so great it’s no contest.) Also, please keep in mind that I really only have been to like 4 taco places, so it wasn’t too much of a contest. But still I really do like the tacos here. Just don’t expect something über traditional. Pros: + awesome variety of tacos + Comedic taco names — yes, they’ve got a republican, democrat, and an independent… what am I supposed to do when my political slant and my taco slant don’t match? Does that make me a GDI? + Street corn — simply the best!!! + Quick take out service Cons: — LONGLONGLINES! Like MILELONG lines… It’s not worth the wait, but it is definitely worth getting some to-go — Limited parking options.

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Torchys. It’s fun, casual, has a great atmosphere, a bar, and delicious tacos & appetizers! My favorite taco is the Baja Shrimp! I’ve tried almost all the tacos, which were all good(rarely happens at restaurants). The queso is also amazing and even better when spicy! Nothing was too salty nor too greasy. The only thing salty was me since they built this here literally right after I graduated and left College Station! Just my luck …
