Kindly do not support this place. There are two young men whom under the age of 18 have kidney failure that they will live with for their entire lives. How this place remains open just shocks me. The food is trash quality, and the kids whom had their kidneys destroyed for life always makes me wonder how this is still open. On my last take out order they forgot to put onions and cilantro on the tacos, no hot sauce and no napkins. How do you screw up something that simple? Not caring. Sort of like storing your food wrong and nearly killing people.

My review is for chicken fajitas. I think the taste is great. I have eating chicken fajitas in many places including California, and even when I was there I found myself missing this fajitas. Go for it if you are into well tasty well priced food!

Service was less than good, food was served like warm, taco salad did not have the beans and the fajita beef was trash meat with tiny pieces connected by fat. Will never come back. Check was wrong and we were over charged. Really a bad experience at the very least!

BEWARNED! This restaurant gained notoriety for poisoning up to 10 people with E COLIO157: H7. According to the Brazos County Health Department 5 cases of this nasty strain of E COLI were HIGHLYLIKELY to have originated from ground beef this restaurant prepared including two young children that developed Hemolytic-uremic syndrome(HUS) and nearly died from their exposure to this disease. See the press release below by the Brazos County Health Inspector for more information.

NOTORIETY: Local mexican restaurant chain FOOD: Tacos al carbon plate($ 8.50 before tax): These are some bad A double crooked letter tacos. The beef fajita had good flavor since it was grilled onions. Its a bit on the oily side though. Top that w/some pico, lettuce & guac=whoa. The plate also comes w/a side of rice & refried beans. Chicken fajita taco($ 1.99 before tax): Good size for a taco. The chicken was slightly dry, but it did have pretty good flavor. Pastor taco($ 1.99 before tax): Interesting flavor w/all the spices & onions, but I felt the pork was a bit tough. Huevos rancheros($ 5.45 before tax): The tomato based ranchero sauce had a nice little spicy kick to it. It went well w/my eggs, which I wished could have been a bit more runnier. The refried beans were smooth in texture & had good flavor. However, the potatoes were not crispy & had a plain taste to them. This plate also comes w/2 tortillas & a side of either bacon(meaty), sausage, or ham. Migas taco($ 1.85 before tax): Decent mild flavor, but I wish I ate it sooner as the tortilla chips were soggy. Chalupa: Not what I was expecting. It was a flat, crispy«shell» w/beef, shredded cheese, refried beans & a few others. It was pretty good but not something I’d crave. Beef soft taco: Just OK. Decent flavored ground beef w/lettuce and cheese. I won’t be getting it again. OVERALL: Nice hole-in-the-wall restaurant feel w/tasty tacos. I’ve had their carne asada plate at a separate locale but was disappointed recently. This definitely made up for it. RECOMMENDATION: Tacos al carbon TIPS: 1. All orders, to go or eat in, come w/chips & salsa. They even ask what size(S, M, L). 2. Hrs: Mon-Sat 7am-9pm; Sun 8am-2pm 3. Thursday Special(11am-Close): Taco al carbon plate $ 6.50

Highly recommend for breakfast! Especially the breakfast tacos, 4 items for just $ 2…you can’t go wrong. Coco Loco has multiple locations and they each have their ups and downs. The one on George Bush is small and the same ladies work every time I go in, very hospitable although the english isn’t the best. Would also recommend getting the number 9(shredded beef breakfast), but you can’t go wrong trying the other options. Fresh tortillas, great tasting green sauce(sometimes spicy sometimes not), home fries, real eggs and none of that substitute stuff. Very low key place; don’t expect a fancy service. The price is GREAT!

The food is fast and cheap. The time you gain from sitting in a restaurant you lose sitting on a toilet. I pass unless others have to eat here and I am dragged along.

Good stuff! Enjoyed my enchiladas verdes and rice! The green sauce they bring out with the chips is VERY hot… I’m not too into hot stuff… but my friend who is loved it so much he ordered an extra bowl to pour on his food.
