This is a really cool spot. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. You can find people there to play any game you want. Check it out!

This place is wonderful. There’s always a lot going on, tons of gamers congregate here every night and it’s awesome to have a community for people to hang out at. They always have the new comics I’m looking for, so I’m never disappointed. Just don’t come too late or they’ll be gone! They’ve got a great line of events every night, there’s something for everybody.

Bought an item from their eBay store… Price was nothing special. In addition to my item taking quite awhile to arrive, I open the box and of course I was sent the completely wrong item. A few other eBayers have had the same problem with them… I guess I should have known better than to buy from some little no-name store.(This is exactly why LGS’s are going out of business left, right and center… overpriced and awful customer service… usually employed by dropout type gamers who cant get a job anywhere else) Not sure how that’s even possible, considering what I had ordered and what was sent to me LOOKCOMPLETELYDIFFERENT… but you’d have to actually pay attention to understand that. Obviously whoever is running their eBay store is completely careless or just plain stupid… or, probably both. I tried messaging them about through eBay, took several days before I got a response. Their excuse was«there’s been a big mix-up with the Heroclix gravity feeds»(the item I purchased). First things first, a «mix up with the Heroclix gravity feeds»? You couldn’t just apologize for your mistake and send me the item I ordered right away? Nope, you had use some half-witted excuse, trying to skirt the blame like your store has also been wronged in the process. Typical of a crap small business. Instead of take responsibility for your mistake, you automatically go on the defensive. Exactly why many, MANY small businesses close. Several messages later, after I had explicitly asked them if they were going to send me the item I paid for(which I needed to know, because I bought this as a gift for my nephew, and so far, he’s gotten NOTHING for his birthday, which has already passed… THANKS A LOTCLOCKWORKGAMES!) I made them aware that this was supposed to be a gift, so I needed to know whether or not I was getting the correct replacement product, or if I needed to go shopping again in the meantime. They just kept saying, «Return the item for a refund»…Okay, but that’s not what I was asking you… I needed to know IF I WASGOINGTOBEGETTINGTHEITEM I PURCHASEDORNOT… AKA Do I need to go out and buy another gift? It makes no sense that I would send the item back, get a refund, and then somehow get the replacement without making another purchase? That’s not how eBay works for returns. Their response was«It is not very clear as to what you have received and have not received» SMH…are you serious?! This problem is about as simple as it gets. Honestly, I think my cousin with Down Syndrome could have handled this issue more appropriately. No offense to anyone with a Downs relative or friend, but it’s true. That is the level of customer service that I was provided with. Screw you Clockwork Games. As a hobbyist and board gamer, I’ll be sure never to waste my time or money on your eBay store ever again.

The shop is more than a store, it is a community of card players and gamers. It has been the best shop I have been to and where I learned to play Magic. Go Clockwork!!!

Store is physically large. They have a computer room for League of Legends and a large amount of tables for card game play. They also have an upstairs that has more tables that is generally more secluded if you want to open booster packs or just chill. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, especially with Magic the Gathering. The location is a little difficult to find however once you find it once you can find it again. The store hours are a little odd as they open in the early evening. The hours are consistent however. Their website is basic and could use some work but their event calender is up to date which is always important. Buying single cards and selling them is a relative easy process however depending on how many staff is working, you might have to wait a while. Prices on there items in the glass cases or the card boxes behind the counter do not have clear labels which forces you to ask the price of every little thing. Some more signage could fix this no problem. Overall clockwork is a solid card shop.

I’ve only been in the store twice, and one of those times was at their old location. Still, this is the place to go for gaming/comics in B/CS. 9/10ths of the space is dedicated to row after row of tables, perfect for card game tournaments and not-too-horrible for board games up to 4 – 5 players. There’s a smaller balcony space for miniatures, and a room with a large screen TV playing League of Legends and computers along the walls. Snacks can be purchased, and there are some racks for comics, board games, and Games Workshop figures. The display cases have Magic, Yu-gi-oh, Pokemon, and Clix miniatures, and the wall behind the counter has shelves of binders with individual cards. This location(basically behind Mugwalls) is definitely a large step up from the old space(in front of the same strip mall), being both larger and rather cleaner. I was there around 3:30pm on a Saturday and there were 4 people playing Pokemon, about 10 playing Magic, a couple of people up on the balcony playing something I didn’t see, and 3 in the computer room. I had a short chat with the clerk, who was friendly and engaged. Game stores are a tricky business, with a high likelihood of failing, so I’m going to keep my fingers crossed that Clockwork will succeed in the long run. Because most of the space is optimized for card game tournaments, it is not my ideal gaming environment(too hard to move around the end-to-end-to-end tables), but if you play games I highly recommend you stop by. Before you go, check out the event schedule on the website.

I came here for the viewing of the League of Legends world finals. It’s basically a place for nerds to gather, play Magic the Gathering, other games, chill, etc. The place itself is not the best looking. It’s kind of dirty, as you would expect from a place inhabited by gamers. But if you’re looking into coming here, that’s probably not a big deal for you. The main thing is you can find other people with the same interests and geek out. They sell drinks and frozen food(pizza, hot pockets, chimichangas) for pretty cheap that you can microwave in the kitchen. They also sell a lot of board games and trading cards. It’s a pretty interesting place. Check their website for upcoming events!
