I’ll start positive: the food came quick and it was hot. It wasn’t burnt or over cooked. However, it was bland with a strange under taste if that makes sense. It’s the only way that I can put it. The flavor was just not good. I ordered the chicken with broccoli… And fried rice. The fried rice was literally just fried. There were no vegetables like every other Chinese restaurant! I’ve never actually seen just fried rice without anything in it. I tried putting sweet-and-sour sauce and soy sauce on it to make the dish more flavorful but no. Save your money and try out another Chinese food place. I ate it because I was starving but just enough to fill me up.

This place scored a 66 from the Dept. Of Health. They have had major roach problems they refuse to deal with.

So far the Buddha keeping up to the par… Lunch special are OK if you are concerned about taste but quantity is really skinny Chinese.

Even though I’ve been using Unilocal mostly as a «ghost» user, I really felt the need to leave a review for this place. I knew about the restaurant for quite some time as I live in the area, but let’s be honest — the exterior is anything but inviting, so I would always just pass by. Finally, I decided to place a takeout order online, since they feature that option on their website. The online menu is clear, with pricing and brief description. I decided to order sweet and sour chicken, crab rangoon and fried wonton’s. 5 minutes after placing my order I got a call from the asking to repeat my order, since their printer did not have paper and they lost my order. No biggie. When I went to pick up the order, there were quite some people inside waiting for their take-out, luckily mine was already waiting for me. Honestly I was expecting a typical styrofoam container with some rice and(probably) over-fried chicken in a sauce. To my surprise I received neat plastic container with deep-fried thickly-battered chicken(with some sad pieces of veggies, that they could’ve just leave out), SEPARATE container with typical sweet and sour«radioactive» looking sauce and yet ANOTHER container packed with broken rice(and when I say packed, I mean, to the brim). Everything looked very neat and clean, tasted fresh, chicken was not dry at all and the batter was not oily. Wonton’s were not very impressive, probably due to the fact that they were a little too crispy for my taste, maybe steamed would be better. Rangoon’s were really yummy, no complaints here. But what surprised me the most were the portions. The amount of chicken that I got was definitely enough for two adults, or for 2 meals for one. The idea of putting the sauce when you’re actually ready to eat is great and I appreciated that. The order did not have any cutlery or napkins but I’m not mad, I guess some people would be. The total cost was a little over $ 14 which is insane compared to the amount of good food I got. Was it the best meal of my life? Certainly not. But it was one of the best Chinese takeout I had in a veeery long time, both quality and taste wise. I would definitely recommend the place for someone looking for a cheap, Chinese takeout, but still expect somewhat of a quality and flavor As long as you keep in mind, that this is a inexpensive Chinese restaurant, you should be satisfied.

Ok they delivered to the Hampton but they took about an hr. When I open the bag they didn’t have napkins or utensils. The food was also bad. The peking ribs were too salty. The egg roll was actually a fried spring roll. The fried rice was plain and unevenly cooked.(lots of white spots) the wonton soup was plain. The only good thing I order from them was the Mongolian beef. The beef was super tender and flavorful.

Hmm. Where to begin? The hot and sour soup was just hot; no sour. Everything else just seemed like it was probably previously frozen then microwaved or put in a fryer… Lesson learned… I’m not sure where the other reviewers ate; either it was a different restaurant or they have never had a decent meal much less Chinese…

We had an amazing meal the other night. It’s is a older restaurant but the service and food were wonderful. We did over order. Lol but still ate for less than $ 30.00. We will be back here often!

The building is old and very 80s looking on the inside. Food was middle of the road… nothing to brag about but was edible. Health score was 84.

Worst hot and sour soup I’ve ever had in my life. Bland-no flavor. They also do not deliver. I live a mile away… The chicken and broccoli was good though. Decent prices.

This is, simply, the best crab Rangoon I have ever had in my life. Ever. In my life. The décor is not much to speak of. It’s in a weird part of town. 10 times out of 10 I would Drive right past and think there would be no sense in stopping there. If you make this mistake you are doing yourself a huge injustice. In addition to the crab Rangoon I had garlic chicken. I’ve never had garlic chicken before so I don’t have anything to compare it with but it still pretty amazing. So let’s review. Sub-par décor. Amazing food. But you aren’t going for the décor anyway

I love hot and sour soup and this was the worse soup I have eaten at a Chinese place. I also had hot and spicy chicken. I was not hot or spicy just very bland food. Would not recommend this place.

when i first pulled into the parking lot i felt like this place looked dirty so i was a little skeptical. But i figured i would give it a chance since someone recommended it to me. I ordered their special house rice and beef and broccoli just to play it safe. It was only about $ 7. The food was greaaaaaat!!! The beef was seasoned very well! The rice was yummy too! Overall i will definitely come back! Friendly staff, speedy service and great food!

The place is like your typical Chinese restaurant, nothing fancy, staff was friendly and accommodating to my questions and request the food was fresh and well made, the prize was very reasonable. All and all a good experience. The chow main and lo main noodles they use here are not the thing type, its more like pasta. So that is why 3 starts

Mongolian beef with white rice, egg role, crispy noodles with egg roll. Egg roll tasted like it was microwaved and not fresh but, that’s the worst of it. The egg drop soup was good, it’s egg drop! The rice was soft and fluffy. The beef was soft and bit chewy, I wish I would have asked for crispier beef, but solid taste. Crispy noodles with sweet and sour were addicting. Coke comes in a can and receipt is in Chinese :-!, but price is cheap. The serving size was bigger than expected. I had enough rice and beef for two full servings. Place is clean and chill. Would come back.

Been going to this place for 5 years now. All of the positive reviews I agree with and it is true. Fresh hot food, tasty dishes, friendly staff. My only gripe is that the place is very tired looking. Going in is a bit depressing… Very old carpet, paneling, the bathroom… No comment. Carry out is how we enjoy the place best, occasionally we’ll stop by for a quick lunch.

My friend and I tried to order Take out here while staying in a nearby hotel. The restaurant is currently open on Sundays til 9 pm, and they also have delivery. The minimum order is $ 13 However. We decided pick up the food, and the ambience inside is very dated but seems clean. The food was prepared quickly and it was hot and fresh. We had a combination plate which supposedly includes egg fried rice. Yet the rice was sans even a shred of egg or any veg at all nt even the compulsory frozen peas and diced carrots. In closing it was tasty. If I stayed here again, I’m sure I’d return but skip the combo plate. Service was lukewarm at best and not as friendly as expected given the warmth and hospitality expected in the south.
