i had a great experience last week ordering my lunch, food was great and my fresh juice was cold and yummy. Today I tried to order and it was an utter mess. I am at work and already dread working Saturdays, forgot my lunch at home and being a vegan makes it a little difficult to get the quality of food I am used to having. The young lady Happy was very sweet and was trying to help the best she could. Ordering proved to be extremely difficult, First for some reason she couldn’t get my order in seemingly because the machine was in use. It wouldn’t input my address. It was a mess, it was so bad she gave me her personal number because I was going to try and order online and call back once she rebooted the computer. I called her back and she still couldn’t place my order. ALL of this while im at work. I only have a 30 min lunch which is not their fault, but when you are trying to plan life around your food delivery, this matters. I am extremely disappointed because I was so excited someone who eats the way I do had another option to have a healthy delicious lunch. Oh well.

Great light meal on the go. Only taking away a star because it’s not something you can’t make at home There are 3 options for your salad– in a bowl, stuffed into a French baguette, or blended into a smoothie with some fruit. You can either construct your own salad, or choose from the options given. I got the Tundra and added kale in a French baguette. To stuff the baguette, they use tongs to pull out the bready inside, and then stuff your salad in. That way, your salad won’t fall all over the place while you enjoy. Any salad left over gets boxed, so nothing goes to waste

Ordered delivery thru GrubHub but could not find a way to provide a review through the GrubHub app — so take this FWIW. «South of the Border» in a bowl. Not good. Mushy, tasteless, grayish muck. Steak wasn’t served atop the salad– it was minced up and mixed in. Not what I was expecting at all. Might have been ok as stuffing for a baguette — but as a fresh salad? No. Total waste of $ 10 bucks plus delivery and tip. The Buffalonian in a bowl was just ok. More in line with expectations — but the amount of chicken for a $ 10 salad was really disappointing. It was literally hard to find the chicken because it was diced so small. And there was nothing Buffalonian about any of it. At least the greens were fresh and not chopped into a gelatinous goo. I had high hopes for a healthy, fresh delivery option. Not to be. :(

I never knew salad could taste so good. Best baguette bread in town. I highly recommend!

Wait on this one. The food was quite good and the concept is interesting. I got a baguette with my own salad creation and it was a hearty, delicious lunch. However, as they have just opened, the restaurant was very disorganized. They only had one employee filling orders during the lunch-time rush. They were very slow, and not particularly friendly. I ordered a fountain drink and they had run out of lids for the cups. I asked if they had anymore, and the employee offered the one lid that had been sitting on the bare counter for who knows how long. No thank you. I’m also concerned about the amount of waste that goes behind production. When ordering a baguette, they hollow out the bread crust and dump the extra bread into a large bin instead of offering it to the customer or using it to create some other type of dish. It’s monumentally wasteful and I hope this improves in the future. Most of these problems I think will improve once they have been open for a while and all of the kinks have been ironed out. Until then, I would suggest sticking to Krazi Kebab who has their act together and is delicious.

I ordered via GrubHub, so I didn’t go in the place; however, I enjoyed my meal immensely. I got the Kale-Fornication salad in a bowl, a baguette on the side and a Tropicalia«juice»(it was listed as «juice» on the GrubHub website). I didn’t know at the time the juice would be more of a smoothie, but that was okay. It was very thick and green, I guess because of the spinach. I have since read the website and menu to know that’s it’s more just a salad smoothie than an actual juice drink. The salad was GREAT, just like how I would make it(except they chopped all the toppings up more small than I would, lol). I will definitely get it again and add egg and bacon. I’m so glad to find a delivery place since I moved to College Park that’s NOT pizza, NOT fried, and NOT full of MSG, LOL This place is a gourmet fresh breath of air.

Bread n greens is such a creative fun way to eat salad. I really like that you can have it in a bread a bowl or you can blend your salad up and have a delicious drink. It makes eating healthy interesting! I will definitely be incorporating more healthy eating into my life with this new place opening up! I got the street taco salad with green Chile vinaigrette stuffed into a hollowed out toasted baguette. It was absolutely delicious! The bread was on point — crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Whatever salad that doesn’t fit into the bread they give you on the side. It was super filling. Will definitely be back for more.
