Hospice House Of Hummingbird Fields

It takes a very special person to work at a place like this and everyone here is truly special.
Early last year my grandpa was admitted here and over the several weeks that my parents and I were here we always encountered friendly, empathetic and truly caring staff. I remember that they would check in on us several times while we were there, not only checking up on my grandpa, but to see how our family was doing.
The facilities are immaculately clean, but yet don’t have that odd hospital smell. They made the atmosphere «homey» with a family room, a room for children and a complete kitchen that the families could use if they wanted to cook a meal there. If you didn’t feel like cooking, there was always a supply of soup, cookies and other treats there if you pleased, along with a good supply of teas, coffee and cocoas.
It has almost been a year since his passing, and this place has continued to check up on my family to see how we’re doing. They offered counseling, sent cards and asked if they could help in anyway. Hospice House of Hummingbird Fields made that difficult time easier for all of us and I will always remember and be thankful for their caring actions.
