Sofrito and tacos were excellent. The Caribbean sauce is so yummy. Too bad pinchos were sold out or we would have tried those too. Guacamole and salsa was really good but they used store bought tortilla chips which wasn’t in line with the rest of the fresh food. They also have great art for sale! We will go back!

With the guidance of Unilocal I found this place and ordered the pork and beef tacos. This inexpensive food spot really knows how to put a taco together! The ingredients were fresh, the beef was flavorful, and the salsa was great. My only real commentary was that there was a bit too much of the mayo based sauce on the tacos for my liking. I honestly think the tacos would have been fine without the sauce and perhaps would have been better had the sauce been put on the side. Would definitely come back here if I was in the area. Portions were good, and you can’t beat the price(3 good sized tacos, chips and salsa for $ 10).

We were completely disappointed with this restaurant based on the former Unilocal reviews. There was good flavor with both dishes; however, there was very little meat for both dishes. The sofrito bowl had mostly rice and maybe 2 ounces of pork in the dish. I ordered the large as I was told that the large had more meat than the small. I’d hate to see how much meat would come with small. We won’t be back.

Amazing spot just off the beach. The Unilocal reviews were spot on. Friendly service, outdoor seating, and the best food we’ve had all week. I highly recommend the pork sofritos, but each of the 4 entrees we had were fantastic.

We are slowly but surely checking out all the local joints in Cocoa Beach. This one was a real treat. Cute cute cute place with indoor and patio seating. You order at the counter and then sit and wait for it to be delivered to you. Small menu but everything on it looked delicious. I had the 3 taco basket(beef), hubby had the sofrtito bowl(pork) and we shared chips and salsa. First up… Chips and salsa: chips were decent, as was the guacamole… salsa was deliciously fresh and cold. However, it really wasn’t needed as my taco basket came with a side of chips and salsa. Next up… Tacos: I ordered beef with corn tortillas… All I can say is, Sweet Jesus! They were ridiculously good! The flavor was very unique. Hubby tried one of my tacos and agreed… AMAZEBALLS! Finally… The Sofrito bowl: Rice bowls are my husband’s JAM, so I wasn’t surprised at all when he ordered this. He ordered the large(you should too) and ate every last bite happily! The pork was tender, moist, and nicely seasoned. He now understands why this is one of their most popular items. We have mentioned this spot to 3 others since visiting 2 days ago. It’s pretty darn good! Try it out, you’ll thank me :)

Looks like a fast food place, menu is limited and only 10 items on the menu. Once we got there they were out of mahi and shrimp. Ordered the poncho. This is good for an appetizer Still hungry

The atmosphere is small and the music could be turned down a bit. There is outdoor seating, though. My food was over salted. I probably would come back to try something else. The ratings are very high.

Stopped by for lunch today with a group. This place is delicious with wonderful, attentive service. It is order at the counter and then sit down kind of place, pretty casual. Me: Fresh ingredients(bread, fish, etc) flavorful, and great value for the $. If you like spicy, see if they have some ghost pepper salsa! Friend 1: Local, friendly spot. It’s like eating with friends who made really really good food. Friend 2: Hidden gem with both outdoor and indoor seating. Loved the fresh fish wrap with delicious toppings, great portion size. Friend 3: My favorite Cocoa Beach restaurant. Best sofrito, get the large bowl bc it’s so good. Tip: They have a variety of beers including some beers from the Florida Brewing Company plus a variety of other options.

Well… Thats the best sandwich I have ever had. Honestly. Im a fat kid from Central New York and have traveled the world. Get the Tripeletta Sandwich. It makes a family vacation worth the 4 hour flight 1 hour at TSA and the hour and a half ride from the airport.

I’m convinced now that minuteman by the beach has the best places to eat. Fat kahunas, Fat Donkeys and now, the tiny turtle. Was thrilled with this place and the Asian Caribbean fusion. The hostess recommended the sofritos bowl and we also tried the pork and chicken pinchos. Everything was cooked perfect and came with an awesome dipping sauce. Nice selection of beers to choose from and a nice outdoor area to people watch. We will definitely be returning for the wraps next time!

Delicious & unique. Both the sofrito bowl and the quinoa bowl are fantastic and full of exciting flavors. This is a tucked away little gem in Cocoa Beach.

I had a business related call from one of the business owners I met last week in Cocoa Beach so I headed down earlier in the day than planned. The staff of The Tiny Turtle was still preparing for the crowd that was expected once the festivities in town began. Once I heard the ribs were ready I ordered a rib plate. After putting in my order it only took about 7 minutes for my food to be brought to the table and the presentation was very nice but the million dollar question… Is it going to meet with MY approval since I will admit that I am a BBQ snob? Let’s find out… I started with the coleslaw and the there was a bit more dressing and the seasoning was right on the mark. The toast was a Puerto Rican Sweet Bread that was toasted on the grill. Hiding under the ribs was some yellow rice with black beans and my only complaint was that I would have liked more of it because it was very good. OKOK… Now for the whole reason I came back to The Tiny Turtle this evening… THERIBS! They were fall off the bone tender with a light smoky flavor and just a hint of seasoning. The cartilage was tender enough to eat and I have to admit that the cartilage is my favorite part of the ribs when they are cooked right. Well done Moses. My personal preference for ribs is to add a bit of Mesquite flavor but that is only because Texas introduced me to the spiciness it adds to the meat. But that is just MY preference so keep that in mind. Last time I checked, Mesquite does not grow in the Caribbean so I will just have to suck it up… giggle That BBQ sauce you had on the side was great. I don’t like an overly sweet sauce and this was just to my liking. You might want to put it in a 16 oz jar and offer it for sale. Hint Hint… I could be tempted to make a trip from Orlando to Cocoa Beach every third Friday for your ribs but the lazy side of me will ask if you will deliver them to Orlando? lol OH Yeah… I took 2 orders TOGO so that my wife could feast on your BBQ. She cleared her plate… Hint Hint…

Great reviews and a promisingly small, specialized menu led me astray in this case. I probably didn’t do myself any favors by ordering the mahi mahi wrap. Despite its exotic, cool-sounding name, it’s just not a very exciting fish unless someone JUST pulled it out of the water. Here you can tell they didn’t — it was sort of grayish and just vaguely fish tasting. I couldn’t tell if the guac was good or not because the tomatoes were — they left a sourness that pervaded everything. I did like the mango sauce they put on, though, and dragged the ends of the green, grill-marked burrito through the part that pooled at the bottom. As everywhere, plantains were prominently featured, this time in a little pile of crispy chips.

So happy that fellow Unilocalers led us to this place. I had the small sofritas plate with shrimp. Perfect portion size for me. The coleslaw was amazing. I’ve never liked coleslaw before but theirs is so fresh and cream based it’s incredible. My husband had the pork wrap which was equally delicious. Especially the black beans. Basically this place is a win for a deliciously fresh meal.

Well first off let me thank my fellow Unilocalers for suggesting this amazing place! The prices are great and the food is oh so good! We had the sofrito plate and it was sooo delicious everything was perfectly seasoned. The chips and salsa are amazing as well! I was so pleased! If you are in Cocoa beach make sure you stop by and get a bite to eat and then head over to the fat donkey for desert!
