Absolutely delicious chicken schwarma! Seldom do they put fries in the schwarma outside of Europe, but they do here! My wife and I stopped here today for dinner on our way home to Indiana. They were a little understaffed as only one waiter was serving everyone, but he was attentive and kind.

Nice, clean atmosphere, friendly and prompt service, very good, traditional Lebanese food and addicting mint lemonade. We really enjoyed the creamy hummus to start. Greek salad was very tasty, the tabouli was good, but a little dry. Chicken shawarma was excellent– perfectly spiced and so tender. The falafel pita was my favorite, traditionally made with shredded radish and pickles, just like in the middle east! Portions were plenty large and prices quite reasonable. No alcohol served. We will return soon.

I would give this place zero stars however Unilocal doesn’t let you. I got the gyro, lamb had a rotten smell. I couldn’t eat it. I don’t know how long the meat was left out. Calamari was cold. Approached manager about my food, extremely rude. Horrible service, felt rushed because they were closing kitchen an hour before closing??. I would recommend to my worst enemy.

This is the worst place to eat in Cocoa beach. The owner is a complete jerk off and the food is not good at all. There are a million other places in Cocoa beach to eat Mediterranean food. Do not trust the reviews they are all bogus and a bunch of lies written probably by his friends.

This place is lacking in customer service. It clearly states they are open until 9:00pm, and after walking in at 8:32pm I was refused service, as I was told they close their kitchen at 8:30. If you close at 9:00, you close at 9:00! In an attempt to come again, I came on a Friday and was once again refused service, but this time to sit down. Apparently, Friday and Saturday’s they only take reservations. No where do they advertise this! Not their website, Unilocal,no where! Go somewhere else if you’re craving Mediterranean food and good customer service!

Have had gyros, baba ganoush, mint lemonade, baklava cheesecake. All delicious. Have told several friends of the restaurant and all were equally as pleased. Going back tomorrow!

So glad we found this place on Unilocal.Best food ever! Friendly service, prompt service, clean, neat, warm atmosphere. Prices were very much in line with value and food quality. We will be back to try the great variety of entrees.

Wow. Just wow. I could not be more impressed by this place. I generally don’t write reviews for places while I’m out of town, but this is a gem that shouldn’t be passed up! I split the mixed kabob plate which came with three different meats, salad, and rice. While all of the meats were amazing, I tried my husband’s lamb gyro and wished I had ordered that. The lamb was so delicious and tender! The lamb was almost softer than the bread and the sauce really pulled it all together. I was in gyro heaven. I didn’t think anything could top that until they brought out the baklava cheesecake. I seriously considered trying to buy an entire cheesecake and smuggle it back on the plane home but decided against it. This was the BEST food we had in all of Florida! Definitely recommend trying it!

We drove here from Melbourne because I was craving an AUTHENTIC Mediterranean meal. It was a 40 minute drive, but I’m SO glad that we ventured! I was worried that the reviews were not legit because it is in a touristy area, but DONOTWORRY! The owners are Lebanese and have all of the authentic Middle Eastern goodies! All of the food is fresh and made in house. They served authentic Mint Lemonade to start with. I haven’t tasted that since my last trip to Israel!!! The Greek Salad was served in the traditional way with no lettuce. The gyro beef/lamb is shaved off of the spit(NOT frozen… ugh!). The pita is made in house, but be warned it is $ 1 per order. Their tzatziki sauce was delicious and creamy. They take a lot of pride in their food. It was definitely the best Greek meal I’ve had down in Florida and I truly compare it to what I have eaten all over Greece. Make sure you arrive before 8:30pm. Although they are open until 9pm, they sent people home because the kitchen closes at 8:30p. Try the Baklava Cheesecake. it’s made in house and to DIEFOR!!!

Stopped by for takeout appetizers the other night — we’ll definitely be back. It’s a little pricier than I’m used to for this type of food, but it was worth it. For me, it’s the simple dishes that tell you more about a restaurant’s quality than the more complicated meals. At Pita Paradise, humble, ubiquitous hummus is elevated to the sublime. It’s obviously prepared on site from a traditional recipe, and it’s super creamy and flavorful, not the grainy pre-made stuff you get at so many restaurants these days. The right balance of spice and lemon finishes it off, a perfect lunch for the hot days to come. The accompanying pita was perfect. Yes, Pita Paradise sells some of the best hummus I’ve ever had anywhere. Yes, in the world. If they sold it by the bucket, I’d buy it by the bucket. Everyone should try it — call me a Pita Paradise Hummus Evangelist.
While we waited for our order we enjoyed the atmosphere — dim lights, great music, interesting crowd. This is the kind of local place you can come to again and again, and we will!

Unbelievable. Unilocal said that it was open until 9. We walked in at 8:29 and they refused to give us take out. They were also Very very rude. I would not give them business, as they clearly don’t care about customers!

I’m visiting a friend in Central FL and I was totally missing the Halal carts in NYC and being able to have a gyro or gyro platter anytime of day… So, we ended up at Pita Palace, because it had 4.5 stars and had the most highly rated reviews. Ordered a gyro and it came with your choice of: salad or fries(I chose the fries). I also ordered a piece of baklava. Everything was pretty fantastic. The gyro had a sufficient amount of meat; although, it lacked an adequate amount of lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. I prefer to have a lot of tzatziki sauce on my gyro, but there was just a schmear, but it is obvious that they make their own tzatIki sauce and it was pretty fantastic. Lastly, their baklava was the best I’ve ever had– crisp, with the perfect amount of filling, and the bottom was perfectly soaked with the honey syrup. It tasted homemade, noms! Overall, I’d go back for sure and just ask for extra lettuce, tomatoes, onions and tatziki sauce and it’ll be a 10.

We really enjoyed our recent meal here. We started off with the baba ghanoush as an appetizer. The smoky eggplant flavor tasted great with pita bread on the side, and it really hit the spot. I was really hungry so it helped to take the edge off without filling me up to the point where I wouldn’t be able to enjoy my meal. I ordered the chicken gyro, and my wife had the chicken shawarma platter. Both of them came with side of Greek salad. I thought it was kind of odd that the dinner menu for the pita sandwiches included a combo with a drink. That’s really a throw back to when this place was Athen Gyro a few doors down with a more take-out only approach. I’d rather just get a sandwich and a side, and not have to pay for a drink that I don’t want. It’s just kind of odd for a sit down dinner format. The salad could have use a few more olives… it was a lot of cucumber and tomato, but it was nice to get a fresh side with our meals. My chicken gyro was perfect. The chicken was well seasoned and tender, and their homemade garlic yogurt sauce was delicious. If you don’t have a huge appetite, the gyro and a salad are a nice light dinner option. My wife’s shawarma platter was filled with delicious chicken and came with rice. It’s definitely the better option if you have an appetite. I’d recommend asking for some pita bread on the side to go along with the platter. Our server was super friendly and attentive. We never felt neglected even though you could tell he was busy taking care of all the tables in the restaurant, and pulling host duty. The atmosphere was pleasant and lively enough to make us want to come back here again, and the food definitely warrants a return trip. Well done, Pita Paradise.

We’ll be back. Falafel was perfect, we and our baby loved it. We got the falafel appetizer for her, and it included a good helping of hummus and tabouleh. The staff were very attentive. My parents enjoyed their Foul(fava bean dish). We got hummus and pitas for the table, and it was enjoyed by all. I had the beef shawarma on pita with Greek salad. The Greek salad was good, but folks should know that it consisted primarily of large chunks of tomatoes and cucumbers, tossed in dressing with olives. I had only had poultry shawarma before, but the beef was fantastic. My wife thought the falafel pita was amazing.

Great middle eastern restaurant… cuisine is mostly Lebanese with Greek influence. The tables are clean, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is top notch. Gyro meat is fresh off the spit, the shawarmas are authentic, and the salads are delicious… Highly recommended for those who appreciate kebabs and gyros… And the mint lemonade is fresh. A go to restaurant.

Looks like we have a new restaurant north of 520… sort of. The Pita Paradise has a very familiar menu, it seems that the Athen owners closed shop and moved down a few shops(still in the White Rose Plaza) and opened this new restaurant. The food is the same great quality, but now there’s more elbow room and a nicer décor. We had the hummus app, a gyro and a chicken shawarma and everything was great. Free WiFi, but no fresh brewed iced tea.
