PROS: French Fries, you’ll always have a table to sit at, Prices CONS: Horrible Food, Service, Dirty Nasty Environment. EEK ! Dear God NO !!! Went here some years back with my parents like 2 times, and it was alright. I was surprised to find a Thai food place, so I was happy. But this time the experience was so bad, I was expecting someone to jump out and say«Ha we fooled you, your on hidden camera !» For starts, we walked in and the front area they had a couple of partitions up. Within the partitions were a couple tables full of glasses, trinquetes and other useless items, with a hand written sign that said«Garage Sale» ! Okay, I tried to ignore the fact there was a garage sale in the restaurant and proceeded to our table(again which was easy to get since no one is ever in this place) The table was sticky, the glasses were dirty, the water was yellowish, the server looked like she was annoyed at us taking a while to decide what(or what not) to get. So she kind of made up my father’s mind for him. Everything failed(bland, frozen and then reheated taste, missing items on the menu) except the french fries that were actually good. But the clincher was, after we had finished, my girlfriend went to the bathroom, and on the way out she saw a dog peek it’s head out of the kitchen and then one of the workers whisper to it, to beckon it back into the kitchen !!! Quick, Barf bags for everyone !!! Not 100% sure if it was her chicken satay or not, but my girlfriend had extreme stomach pains a little later in that day.(she was the only one who ate chicken there) Too bad the whole world doesn’t have a health dept. grading system like NYC. because no one would go near this place with it’s F minus in the window !!!

The food was ok, I had the King curry, she had the shrimp salad, the shrimp weren’t peeled which was weird… Decent portions, Chardonnay sucked, I wouldn’t rush back. The décor and name throws any idea of a Thai restaurant out the window.

I’m giving this place 5 stars for the experience. This restaurant is totally unlike anything I’ve ever been to before. As the other reviewer’s state, it is very«Americanized». The menu is mostly non-Thai food items. I ordered a tofu and vegetable dish. It was pretty basic, but not bad. Just tofu and veggies in a light sauce with white rice. However, my meal came with a salad and a roll. I’ve never had Thai food with a salad and roll before. This place does seem a little under-utilized. When I arrived there were 2 other diners, and when they left I was the only customer. The server was extremely attentive and polite. The restaurant itself is very large, and clean. I could imagine it would be good for large groups and kids. Dinner cost $ 13, which i think is a little more than it’s worth, but you get a salad and roll with your dinner.

We were excited to try this place so that the adults could get spicy Thai & the kids could get American. The Thai was ‘meh’(tofu was kind of gross) — will try the Pad Thai, if there’s a next time. The grilled cheese was with American cheese, but the fries were excellent :) Very expensive drinks(like $ 3.50 for cheapo chocolate milk!)

This is one of the best hole in the spots I have ever came across… My parents summer here, and have been doing so since my dad was a child. They have been around more than twenty years but we have only found them a few years ago. The owner is pleasant and awesome. The menu is a little thick but will allow other members of your party some conventional home cooked American dishes, while the Thai lovers will enjoy excellent authentic Thai cuisine. I use Unilocal all the time to find new places but let me put it this way, this is the first restaurant that inspired to post a review myself. I have no clue why this restaurant is not packed all the time. The truth is, the outside sign is outdated, and the outside of the restaurant isn’t indicative of the quality of food they serve…

Disappointing and pricey Americanized Thai food from this restaurant. Seemed more like take-out Chinese food than authentic Thai cuisine. The meals are also pricey, 13 bucks at lunchtime for a bland plate of steamed vegetables, steamed chicken, and steamed rice. I ordered a spicy chicken curry and asked for extra spicy, there was maybe 3 tiny pieces of hot pepper in my meal. I suppose for the area there isn’t a whole lot of Thai variety but with endless Thai possibilities in Southern CT I have certainly been spoiled. The only reason I gave two stars is because our server was very nice and attentive. Seems like she was from Thailand so the Americanized versions of the Thai food there are probably intentional. I should mention, besides Thai offerings there are also a variety of standard diner fare items listed in the menu.

This place is usually dead empty or not open, so I don’t know how they stay in business. The service was pretty much non-existent the first time I was there, and the second, the only waitress was reading a book at another table because we were the only people there on a Friday night at 7pm. The food was pretty good both times I was there. I had the green curry, and red curry, hubby had prime rib. No complaints about the food, except maybe the portion size on the curry. I could have eaten more, and for $ 14 a plate for shrimp and vegetable curry, that should not have happened. I think if they lowered their prices a few dollars a plate for their basic curry dishes, I would eat their more often, if only because it is the closest to real Thai food you can get in the area.

I was incredibly surprised to find a place serving Thai food here — I stopped here instead of going to one of the nearby fast food places. I went around noon for lunch on a weekend, and found the restaurant completely empty. I ordered the Tom kha gai soup and the shrimp Pad Thai — the soup was delicious, with nice, light broth, tender chicken, and accented with some onion and herbs. The Pad Thai had nicely cooked, succulent shrimp. I did think it was cooked in a little too much sauce, though that may be a personal preference. The noodles were slightly undercooked, but I’m very particular about my noodles :). The décor is sort of American casual and won’t win any awards, but it was clean. The service was great, i was never left waiting for anything. The price was fairly good for the portion size. I will definitely come back if I’m ever in the area!

You could easily pass this place while driving through Cobleskill. The sign outside reads«Dairy Del» and the front is VERY tired. Actually, the inside is very tired as well. But the owners keep this place spotless and always offer a warm welcome. The hostess/owner is Soo-ni– she is wonderful and enthusiastic about her place and her customers. This is hands down the best place for Pad Thai. I always look for Pad Thai like it, but there never has been a close second to this heavenly dish. I prefer the shrimp pad thai– all of their ingredients are fresh– the noodles are perfectly soft and buttery, the veggies are crisp, the shrimp is done perfectly, the sauce brings everything together, and the peanuts throughout really give a great kick to this dish. I only get to visit this place when visiting my grandparents, but we have called ahead just to pick up Pad Thai on our arrival nights. Other highlights are the Thai coffee with sweet milk and their house salad dressing. Only thing that I would not recommend are the desserts– they never make the mark. Again, if you are anywhere near here, enjoy Thai food, be sure to stop here.
