So I met my friend here for lunch today(Thursday 1215ish) I mean common sense will tell you they’ll probably be busy… and yes. yes they were! There was a line out the door which still was only like 6 people. The staff went into hyperdrive which I totally appreciate and understand HOWEVER… I felt super rushed and totally yelled at! It’s an assembly line you know so like 5 different people were shouting questions at me too… then I was rang up and swiped before I really knew it! I mean I kinda wanted an egg roll… maybe extra fortune cookies… but OK not today! I mean overall it was a good experience… good food and quick service I just feel a little in trouble right now… hopefully that will fade as I eat

Favorite is brown rice with string bean chicken… Also enjoy the shanghai beef occasionally. Store was just remodeled so it’s pretty nice.

The cashier, Anna was awesome! Helpful, friendly & sincere!!! How rare is that??? I’ve been to Panda before but this visit, by far was the best so far! Great job guys!!!

Every time I have been there I have never had a problem. The other day at the Herndon and fowler store, horrible horrible encounter … people at the counter could not get my order right !! It was simple they couldn’t understand my English and I didn’t get their Asian, it turned out horrible they couldn’t get my order right no matter what I said even the other people in line were laughing. Never had that happen so I ended up just taking the wrong order, way over paying and NOTGOINGBACK

Four stars for friendly and accurate service, but that new Samurai Surf & Turf is just weird… Potatoes and green beans(not snow peas or edimame) in Chinese food? Along with the shrimp and beef, it’s just a very strange dish. Also, my half & half was made with brown rice… not because of the soy sauce used to cook it. Actual brown rice. Normally I enjoy brown rice(think Mediterranean or the Middle Eastern cuisines), but fried in soy sauce with peas and carrots? Also, the sauce on this dish is flavorless. It almost tastes like brown gravy with no salt. Very strange. For the sake of trying not to sound too much like the comic book store owner on the Simpsons, I realize that the corporate food engineers are the ones responsible for this hot mess, and that each franchise has to follow food specs… why I still gave four stars. I never go into Panda expecting«OMG, this soooo good!» Chinese food, but there are some dishes I consider my guilty pleasures. Next time, I’ll just stick to my usual’s. The Mandarin chicken is always a great choice btw. I’ll be back…

What is there really to say about Panda Express that can’t be said about any other Panda Express around. You know what your getting into. The only other one I frequent(if you can even call it that, I hardly eat here ever) is the one on Willow/Nees. They are both pretty good in terms of the taste but what really gets you at these places is the price. It’s like $ 6 – 7 for a 2-entrée and a side… I think that’s a little ridiculous, considering how small the portions are. I like this place though, but I’m just not here often. Actually, the last 2 times I’ve come to a Panda was to get free single entrees of a new item they were rolling out.

Great Chinese food, but not authentic. This is just another place in a huge chain of restaurants. So how this got the vote for best Chinese in Clovis really baffles me. The only thing I can think of is that a lot of people go here for the convenience so the numbers can get a little skewed. That being said the food is not horrible but its definitely not the best that I have ever eaten. Its not even authentic which costs them a star.

I was utterly surprised to see that panda express was named the best chinese food in Clovis by the Fresno Magazine. I thought wow this is horrible because it’s a francise and there’s no way it could be the best. To my surprise it is pretty good unlike the other pand expresses that I’ve been to, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and the veggies were perfectly done. Yet it still has the panda express taste.
