Clovis Storage and Executive Office Suites

I am renting one of the executive offices here, and so far am very pleased. The facility is clean and quiet. They have offices of various sizes to fit the need (and budget). Internet, electricity, office telephone, and AC are all included, along with meeting rooms — even my own Clovis address and mailbox. Clovis Executive Office Suites has been the perfect solution for my remote office needs! I am thoroughly pleased!

Decided to use this storage facility out of pure convenience of location. The staff seems busy but mostly helpful. They have more to do than the typical storage unit place since its also a business building.
Respectively, the grounds are CLEAN, BRAND NEW and roomy. I have done storage in Marina, California and San Jose, California so comparatively Clovis seems to have lots of room for new businesses that maintain pretty large square footage and are built with brand new materials and design elements. This, to me, is a plus alone.
Only inconvenience so far has been getting around in the storage area grounds on foot. I no longer drive so if I need to go back to the front office for something, it’s like walkin’ through an asphalt oasis. but, nonetheless, its just a very slight design flaw that can be helped by catching rides on their golf carts if they’ll allow you to.
They open early and stay open past normal business hours, which is a huge plus for those people who need to be moving things in and out of the unit at misc. times of day.
The pricing is practically unbeatable. They gave me a first month promotion which I was very pleased about. In more expensive cities, like on the coast or in the bay area, you will practically pay triple these costs. The pricing is very important because moving costs, in general, just add up. If you are paying rent plus storage fees that are high, it can be a real drag. One of the perks of the cen. valley is that most things are damn cheap.
They provide boxes of all sizes, tape and other packing supplies which is convenient. They also provide, well at least I saw one, medium sized rolling cart that makes moving things more efficient. The rolling carts are especially helpful to help save trips back and forth to the car, and also assists with heavy medium sized stuff.
I find the one and only Unilocal review so far on here to be quite harsh. Nothing personal and I do not want to get involved. People make mistakes and mistakes are often common when a place is new. Sorry for your bad experience bro. Sounds like you had a bad day.
I am self-​sufficient so I do not care much about the customer service there. I am there for one reason and one reason only– to move my things in and out as I please. I do not need to bother with anything other than that, and the staff has provided me with a lock, keys and unit so I am a happy camper. To me, the price to rent a monthly storage unit here is worth a 5 – 10 minute wait in the office to speak with someone or to have to walk in asphalt oasis land to get to and from my unit. No biggie.
Overall, I hope this place does well in years to come. It’s true that Americans have a lot of shit. No other way to say it! Americans have a lot of shit and we need somewhere to put it! This brings a demand for large, efficient and clean storage unit facilities.
One area for improvement would be maybe a call for assistance button/​wall speaker in the indoor hallways when you are in need of a front desk assistant. Or maybe not requiring the pin code to exit. If you got in the place with a code why would you need the code to exit. I guess it’s gate code security policies or somethin’.
It’s not too shabby, give it a whirl.

AVOID THIS PLACE! Sit a spell and let me tell you a story. Our work has two units here. We hired some movers to move items and take them to the storage unit. I follow them over, unlock the storage unit, and it is FULL to the brim of stuff. I go in to the young, highly incompetent, woman at the counter, looks at me like I am insane. I tell her the unit is full of items that aren’t mine (it looked like stuff from an old barn). She then tells me, well #### that’s Barbra’s Unit. I said, but the key we got from you, has this unit number and the key works. I said I don’t know of any other unit. So she looks it up on the computer and tells me, well you are ####. So I follow her in her little golf cart out to the unit. Sure enough, the key fits both locks! She then tells me that Steffy, or whomever wrote on the key made a mistake and it was supposed to be ### unit number, she then informs me, keys work several locks and then just drives off in her golf cart.
Terrible customer service, just terrible. And such a liability, poor Barbara, I hope they tell her that someone got into her storage unit. This young lady needs to take a class, in customer service and manners. Hopefully I can talk work into dumping this disaster before it is to late.

Great family-​owned business. The staff is professional and highly efficient.
